K1600 Bagger Bar Back Installation

Ilium Works 33-500 Bar Backs move the handle bars up and back for a total diagonal movement of 2” closer to the rider’s shoulders from the stock bar risers, for a more relaxed riding position.
No need to change the stock cables or hydraulic lines.
They are CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum, stainless steel shot blasted, then clear anodized for a close match of the stock handle bar base.
All hardware utilized is corrosion resistant stainless steel.

Just installed and it was fairly easy. However, there is about a 2 mm gap on the left top peace. Won’t tighten flat..

Is the fuel cap harder to access after the installation of the bar risers?

@@paulalarie9991 somewhat. For me, the trick is to come through the front and also raise the windscreen. Not really that difficult. You just get used to it. I’m currently doing a trip from Dallas to whitefish Montana and I can tell you It’s totally worth it.

How difficult do those extensions make filling up with gas in CA? Seems like the crossbar is directly over the gas cap?

Looks good. Do the bar backs make the fuel cap less accessible? With the stock bar height it is already a little tight.
