We in fact did NOT fit. Well, technically I guess we were able to back in but leaving...we got stuck. It took us about 45 minutes in the pouring down rain to get out and it has definitely made our list of campgrounds that we will never speak of, never recommend and remove from our memory!
@@rvfamilylife I wish, but that was there before us. We were parked before you get to that sign though. On the main road coming in to the left of the playground, we had a back in on the left hand side. not big rig friendly at all.
I didn't see that bus coming. 😂 The locals at the park told us that we wouldn't fit in the spot assigned to us. They did offer to let us move to another spot later, but we moved to Hershey instead. I'm glad they're starting to designate big rig spots. We saw that in WA too.
There's a bus? LOL Lot of Thousand Trails parks are now starting to kick the little RV's out of the big spots and making sure the right sizes are in the places.
@@rvfamilylife you go through front gate to office to get your stuff there is space where rvs park I unhitched there went to site and came back for car
Haha I feel like Tania is tryng very hard to keep her coffee from spilling. Hmmm yeah looks like it's got space for larger rigs. There sure are a lot of them there. Yeah ya kinda gotta know what size the space is and how big your rig is with truck, if applicable. Sounds like Thousand Trails do it for you? I, personally, prefer to pick my spot and figure it for myself. I suppose there have been instances of people that didn't pay attention to the size and just booked. I actually know someone that did this and they had to squeeze themselves into a tiny space lol. Luckily they weren't too terribly large. But there have been places we've had that stated length would be too small for truck in front of trailer, however, the spot was very wide so they fit side by side. I've not noticed a lot of TT that are very wide, though. Looks like a decent park. Nice that you had the opportunity to check it out.
So Thousand Trails doesn't let us pick a spot ahead of time. It has always been First come first served. But they are starting to apply some rules like, No 19 foot campers in the 60 foot long sites. People that have been using Thousand Trails for a long time are getting upset about it. Us biggens are happy because they're making sure the big spots are ready for us so we aren't stuck with a 25 foot spot.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if you're the reason they put up a sign that says, no RV's this way?

PA Dutch was such a great spot for us when we were there. Like you said, pay attention and you should be good getting in and out. Great Video!
Slow and steady wins the RV Life with less scrapes and scratches.
PA Dutch is a great campground I have a 31’ class c. No problem with sites some are small but enough big enough to handle most RV’s
Yeah, I think I could pull it off getting in there.
Good morning Mr.Dave & Mrs. Tania
Good Evening Douglas and Family.
Fun drive through. Good information.
I love being able to check out campgrounds and get an honest review of them.
Looks like a nice park.
I was impressed. This RV park had a lot more to offer than I was expecting.
I was there end of September not bad at all I will go back again
Where did you un-hitch the Mini when you pulled in there?
