Shah Jahan chopped the hands of those who built the Taj Mahal - is a well known urban myth. historian S Irfan Habib who said, “I can state that there is neither any evidence to back this story nor any credible historian has ever made this claim. It is worth noting that this urban myth goes back to the 1960s and I heard it through word of mouth. However, there is one notable difference. Today, there is a communal spin to the myth, while back then it was more like a jibe on Shah Jahan.”
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
@@Subhamkumar-b4x it's rumour bro Kyu ki shahjaha ko Taj Mahal banne se pahle hi aurangzeb ne Nazar band kar dia tha to shahjaha kaise katwa sakta hai
Hand chopping thing is false. it's just a baseless rumor but really adds a lot of value to the already amazing architectural brilliance that is Taj Mahal.
even indians dont know the truth workes hands never chopped off actually it was a deal or contract that workers will never build any other site after tajmahal this was a contract signed hands were not chopped off physically but this became a proverb becoz workers could not build anything with their hand becoz of the signed contract or deal
Oh God I was randomly watching this and the school at 14:28 is my erstwhile high school! What coincidence. We used to frequent the same breakfast place when we wanted to eat bedai.
You should visit Uttarakhand , Himachal, ladakh and also north eastern states ... what you have seen till now is a different part .. and the states recomended are a class apart
Sorry to burst people's bubbles but Shahjahan didn't actually cut the workers hands..it's an urban myth. There's no historical record of such event. It can be considered as the metaphorical reference as the workers were denied by the king yo build any such monument ever for anyone else. So yea..😬❤️
@@ayushdhingra855 read history rather than asking random people on youtube Oh I'm sorry alot of history from history books have been removed.. According to recent books there was no Shahjaha I wonder who built Taj Mahal??

That was not oil, that's sugar syrup called as Chashni or Seeraa at some places. It is made by using just water and sugar along with some spices like cardamon. Other than that, I don't know if you noticed or not but the entrance to the courtyard of Taj Mahal's design makes it special. Not just beauty of the building but the illustration and illusion effect of the building and it's entrance. I guess u missed those illustrations and illusions also we don't know if you visited to the backside to the monument. The view of Yamuna from the backside looks OP during sunrise and sunset. And since you are near Delhi, I would recommend going to Northern parts of India. Kasol, Shimla, Rishikesh, Dalhousie, Nainital, Ranikhet, Dharamshala, Mussoorie, Kashmir, Leh. Some research will be needed as some of the cities are very near to each other. Char Dham is also an option which is a group of 4 holy ancient cities.

Do you even know how a place is considered an architectural masterpiece?? Because that architecture can't be made again, for example pyramids can't be made again that's why they are one of the 7th wonders, similarly Taj Mahal can't be made again
There were miniature marble statues kept there but couldn't find any when visited like only for video and there are miniature taj mahal as souvenir our time costed 300rs now have to check. Nice to buy one at home pure white marble at night best time full moon. Didn't went to black taj mahal may be at no moon night
Wow, the Taj Mahal is amazing! Noted that it appears that your experience of the Taj Mahal by your expressions was amazing also! You gave it a 7 because of the number of rules and it being overcrowded, yet really are you rating this as a tourist experience such as Disneyland or as a wonder of the world(real)? I think sometimes we forget that while traveling we are hoping to be entertained vs. taking ourselves out of the picture to understand the beauty of someone's or God's creation. By the way, I love your naturalness of being a host and the vibe of your vidoes!

Finally a realistic assessment of the taj. Now you've got to avoid going to chandni chowk and you'll have earned genuine respect.

Thats a very realistic opnion about Taj. There are many more ancient and better architectural marvels in India with great stories behind it.
Where?
Only temples are there
Nothing comes close to Taj Mahal
There is no proof that hands of workers were chopped off after they built TAJ MAHAL. It was just a rumour.
