Thanks for this video. Did you pull the fuel system fuse and start it to depressurized the fuel system before removing the fuel line? Seems like it might spray fuel under pressure at 7:30
Sorry to get back to you so late but I didn't even know you responded sometimes the oil filter housing leaks on these vehicles I've changed a couple of them but I bet it is common for them oil pressure sensors to start leaking again I think it's just a bad design
@@javelldavis I'm changing mine again after 40K miles. The oil light just came on steady after driving. Before it was blinking and the sensor replacement fixed it.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, James. It has been really helpful to me!
Very helpful and informative. Doing this job this weekend as well as both lower control arms

It's not under much pressure. But do disconnect it from both rails. Don't attempt to remove the injectors from the plenum.
How do you get all the oil out the plug
Just use a rag or paper towels
I have a vacuum machine that that doesn't for me
What are the chances this goes bad twice?? I have a 2010 Santa Fe changed it months ago and it’s leaking again from the same place.

Anyone have a tough time pugging in the plug to this sensor? I've been trying for two days and then will not go all the way in.
You might need to get a pigtail which means a replacement plug for it sometimes the oval-shaped O-ring swells up and it's hard to push it back in
