It's always amazing to see what some people abandoned. Even if it's a piece of junk I've always moved anything that's broke down on me. Hopefully they'll come pick it up. I see that G35 is still there accumulating storage fees. Thanks for the video! Stay safe!
Could be it was damaged in some not so above board activities. Who knows why people do this. I guess if it sits in the yard long enough you might have an opportunity to customize a subby. 🙂
I would love to see more of the approach to the scenes. Of course that would require a vehicle camera, but it would be nice to see what you are driving into.
i enjoy your video's Dustin, you've earned my respect, also I'm not sure if you caught it or not,but that driver side skirt was missing. people will go bonkers on a damage claim
Thank You! Yeah I got it. After the fact the customer thanked me for taking care of their vehicle. I ended up towing it home for them when they came to release it.
They were a little out of track, but I centered the wheels with the wheel lift, not the Dollie axles like normal, so that the wheels weren’t out of alignment, causing wear.
@@Towtruck_Dustin ok cool . My prayers go out to the head on accident with the Dodge pickup & the car 🙏. Happy Holidays to you Dustin and be safe . I will see you when I move to Dallas next year .
Bad idea to dolly a car with the front tires on the dollies and not tie the steering wheel down in any form. Especially with no straps. I've seen plenty of guys loose a car off the dollies like that because the steering wheel didn't lock, the wheels turned and the car jumped off the dollies.
The usual WRX crashed owner who found out that AWD has no magical extra road grip. Looking at the window sticker 👀 too much part taking of the garden weeds.😂
That car must have been there for a long time for O'Reilly's to call in a tow. I've seen people working on their engines in an O'reilly parking lot.
C p Steve miller changed his clutch /trans in a O’Reillys and the tv show road kill motor swapped a old dodge with a Chevy motor
3 weeks from what I was told.
@@Towtruck_Dustin why would someone leave it there ??
@@DetroitRockin probably locked up

Yeah the G35 is still there. I’m actually considering buying it lol
Nice job brother! I like those boxes for the dollies. Wish the toolboxes on our 17 wrecker were deeper like the ones on that wrecker.
Appreciate it!
I like this setup, but I really want something with Tunnel boxes.
Another nice work 👍 looking good 😊
Safe picking up a low-profile car. Great job, Dustin! 😊
Thank You!
You are even Polite to Puppy Dogs!❤ Your vehicles are like Puzzles.
How people treat animals tells a lot.
Run the plate thru drn see if it’s up for repo
What a shame 😢 I have one just like that one in six speed manual those cars aren't cheap great job brother 👏🏾
Thank You!
@@Towtruck_Dustin My pleasure 🙏🏽
I agree! I saw this car driving around last year (2022). Hate to see a WRX go like this. I own a WRX as well. 😢
@@jrod0216 Awesome 👌🏽
in my day it was a handheld video camera for documentation
One thing to say on that tow truck I don't like where the Dolly's are
Hey Dustin i recently started working for a towing company just wondering big you use tow book to get all your calls
We do. We use TowBook for everything.

It’s already been picked up lol I didn’t expect it to sit long lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin We another day perhaps. lol
I think the dog owned the Suburu. He wanted it back lol. 😭
No clue where it went. It left as mysteriously as it showed up lol

@@Towtruck_Dustin aways watching your videos
Another great video that driver's side wheel strap looks a little worn out
Thank You!
Yeah it definitely needs some new straps and ratchets.
Do you drive on Freeway back?....and what speed??
Thanks in advance...😊😊
Not supposed to go very fast with Dollie’s. 55 is the speed rating I believe

I’ll try to do that more. Kinda hard to do in all the trucks tho.
Great job and how is the puppy
Not sure what happened with it. It left just as mysteriously as it showed up.
what's the purpose of the dolly? Is that for awd vehicles?
Yes

@@Towtruck_Dustin your welcome,I hope they get the WRX back on the road, nice little 4-banger they've got
If the car sits long enough in the yard, are u able to keep the as yours?
After 45 days anything in impound can be titled.
I am so surprised it did not jump out of that dolley(s).
That Subaru has a clothes drying rack on the back.
With the wheel sitting back like that, would it cause your dollies to dog track a little?
They were a little out of track, but I centered the wheels with the wheel lift, not the Dollie axles like normal, so that the wheels weren’t out of alignment, causing wear.
Dustin when are we going to see you & Donnie team up again .like seeing.
No telling. We work together whenever the situation arises. None of it is planned.

It was stated in the first 45 seconds that the flatbed was in for an oil change.

That’s really only a concern with rwd vehicles.
