I have a 2020 EG and would like to add a few comments. First, the Electraglide has a 17 inch front wheel which makes for better handling than the supposedly more stylish Streetglide’s 18 inch wheel. Also, the EG’s mirrors, out on stalks off the handlebars, are more functional than the, again, supposedly more stylish Streetglide mirrors embedded in fairing. The solo seat, however, I knew was a piece of junk before I sat on it. I’m about 6’3” w/o boots so got a taller and further back setup with a Mustang two-up seat and all is, well, better. (Also installed the forward floorboard setup with the companion extended brake and shifter levers.) I could afford the Street-glide and it’s Indian competitors but could not abide all the nav/radio/antenna crap, yet still wanted the important instruments (speedo, tach) up off the tank where I could see them, and the Electraglide fit the bill perfectly. The power is great, and I like the sound of the stock pipes just fine. I would recommend not getting caught up in “upgrade” madness regarding “street canons,” etc., and the HD stage 2, 3, 4 - 10!? - craziness. How much power do you really need to enjoy the road, as opposed to trying to impress people you don’t know, and/or who don’t know better? Anyway, I agree, the minimalist red badging IS cool looking, as is the mixed chrome/brushed aluminum combination of parts: very old-school industrial imo. And it has great roll-on power in 6th gear. Complaints? None yet. Thanks for the video.
I have the 2020 E-Glide Standard, and love it...so far I have added the Heel Toe Shifter, a set of 4" Rinehart slip ons, Passing Lamps, Saddle Bag crash bars, Added a door to that hole that they call a "glove box" making it a usable storage place, and removed those two ugly reflectors on the rear of the bags..I have no plans of installing a radio...I traded a 2005 Ultra Classic which I purchased new in 05, and consider this Electra Glide Standard an upgrade....Nice review and Stay safe Ryda...
Can you fit a full face helmet in those bags? Looks to narrow. I don’t need all those extras. I’ve always thought a radio a daft idea on a motorcycle. Lol. But lots of people love. Henry Ford would have loved it. Any color as longs as it’s black.
Great review brother. I am of two minds as to which Harley I will buy in a couple of years.I don't need the sat/nav and the radio setup, as I use my own sat/nav system(TomTom), and the cardo for my music. The Roadking standard and Electra Glide Standard are the two that I will be looking at. Both great looking bikes with minimilistic gear. Cruise control and ABS will do me just fine. Would like to see some different colour optioins with the EG Standard. Maybe later? Thanks again mate, stay safe.
The best value if you can find it is a FLHTP or a FLHP. Yes, civilians can buy them. I'd rather spend another 1500 and get a FLHTP. 114, RDRS and the 3" travel rear shocks. the shorter shocks suck for ride.

Of all the new or newish motorcycles on the market, this is by far my favourite, hands down. I love the standard.
Jeff Cluett I like it as well. I’ll ride your for a review when you pick it up if you like. 👍🏼
I think this bike would sell more if there were more colors available. I considered it before I bought my Road King Special. Nice review!
I bought this....options...19" front wheel, chromed fork, heel toe shift, "tall boy" seat. I have 6000 miles on it and I love it.
Electra Glide Standard..made for those who like to ride....Nice
Built a FLHX and regret letting it go...
This will be my next build-base.
Thanks for the video. Sub'd. 🤙
I love this bike and wish I could get it. I rode a decked out dresser one time and fell in love and wanted one ever since.. Some Day I guess..

Hi Ryda,
I'm looking into the E-Glide Standard, and out of all the reviews on YT, yours is the BEST!
Thanks! Keep it up.
Thank you. Ride safe.

Great review and thanks for it! What do you think about that solo seat?
It’s ok but I’d switch it to a Saddlemen immediately.
