Boskonovitch is such a fun character, back in the day people tried to play him just to mess about his chaotic moveset. It's funny how the old man can simultaneously have sudden tummy aches and be the most athletic/acrobatic character of the game at the same time.
Dr. B is hilarious 🤣 in TTT2 he's got the funniest unblockable and combo string in the game. The combo string in particular is like watching someone trip for a full minute

I am surprised that all of the unique fall animations were present in King when Doctor Bosconovitch attacked with the cossack kick dance. I thought they didn't make those until Tekken 5.
His slide is just f+3+4 but it's special mid instead of low. Though, it will do small damage to an opponent who blocks it standing (similar to Heihachi's hellsweep). His reversal in this game is useless, because it's the only one he has (unlike his TTT2 version which has an unchickenable punch reversal), and particularly the one that comes from his "low parry" (when he parries a low that ends with a high or mid, such as King's ali kick into uppercut, Jin's CD+4,4 hellsweep combo, Lei's db+4,4, etcetera) he will parry the low and reverse the mid or high. Unfortunately he cannot stop himself from doing the reversal. Which is bad because it's a standard chickenable reversal (so he eats damage when the opponent buffers a chicken into the high or mid hit) Something "cheap" I found out with him back in the day. If the opponent blocks a running or get up dive from Dr. B, just hold up. He will do the bounce attack which is 100% unblockable/guaranteed at that point.

It's so weird to think about Tekken 3 vs. Tekken 8 in this scenario. In Tekken 3, it was just a gimmicky character that was difficult to play, but fun and unpredictable. In Tekken 8, he'd be cheap, broken and in need of nerfs for ranked to function.
If I remember correctly, he can for a little moment can literally(for some fcking reason😂) became Heihachi if he crushes/ducks highs and had chain grab style T.O.D. but instead of grabs you go from stance to stance until opponent dies(one of the TAS guys did long ago)

If I’m not mistaken (it’s been like 20 years), Nina, both Ogres, Heihachi, Anna, Jin, and Xiaoyu all make quick work of Dr. B, and were his bad matchups as they can punish any stance and lift him off the ground doing easy 50% combos and rendering a lot of his grounded attacks almost useless (especially with low parry into launcher). Also in bouncing he’s a free juggle every time.
