I took an anatomy course in undergrad, but totally bombed it after a particularly rough and stressful semester. I actually loved the material and wish I could retake an anatomy course now at a much more mentally prepared state!

I took anatomy over the summer and I feel like I wasn’t able to understand some things due to the class being in an online format. I’m also about to take my DAT (over winter break) and feel like that might help some when studying!

What dental school are you at, and due to COVID are you limited in what procedures you can do? My dental school has been open since June and now we’re pretty much back to full capacity. Always interesting to to see the other perspective from other schools.

I have a question if you don’t mind answering. So you see in med school how it’s usually the first two years that are hard and studying and the last two are much easier. Is it like that for dental school as well

Entered! Winning anatomy bootcamp would be clutch! I’m currently a D1 taking anatomy and it is kicking my BUTT. With it being completely virtual this year, all I gotta say is looking at a cadaver during live online lecture is not cutting it - it’s nearly impossible to make out the specific structures/nerves when watching at 480p 😔

Dentistry is a science of the WHOLE body - not just the teeth. Anatomy is essential, not optional. Would be psyched to win. I would understand dental issues from a holistic point of view and boost my health -literacy. Will apply to dental school in a year or two!

Hi Laura! I'm currently taking anatomy as a D1, and I think Anatomy bootcamp would be a really helpful study tool! We don't have access to the cadaver due to COVID, so I think the images and resources provided by bootcamp would be really beneficial.

There is one more month of holidays left until my 2nd year of dentistry starts and it'll be our first time working with cadavers.
My friends and I are all scared of this class and we were looking all over the place for an efficient way to prepare and study for this anatomy class and gosh you would save my butt 😵

Hi Laura love your videos! Ive done my research and found a community college that offers many dental programs, such as dental assisting, i was wondering if you’d recommend me to stay at the community for 4 years and do as much as volunteering, assisting and shadowing, transfer to university OR apply to go to dental school after my four years at this community college. Im concerned that by me attending a community college that will lower my chances into getting to a dental school however I would do my absolute best to volunteer and get those hours. Id love to hear your opinion thank you!

I would love to join the giveaway! My application for dental school had to be postponed because certain pre-requisite classes were cancelled due to covid. I'm taking biochem on the side while I get experience dental assisting throughout my gap year but no one was offering anatomy so this bootcamp course could help me immensely! Hi Laura! I want to win this giveaway because I'm a current D1 student and we begin Head and Neck Anatomy next week. It's the portion of anatomy that we really hone in on but we're not in the cadaver lab this fall.
