@@melbied6215 Yes, I would believe someone's testimony of any other supernatural claim outside of the Bible as being the truth from the perspective of their belief system, but I view it through the spiritual lenses of my Biblical belief system.
For example, if someone testified that they had an encounter with an spiritual guide that revealed to them something from their past that no one else could ever have known, then I would believe that that did happened to them. However, I see it as a medium communicating with the spiritual world against God's will - Leviticus 19:31.
So this is a tricky question to answer because "yes" I can believe supernatural testimonies outside of the Bible, but "no". because I seem to find a way to always bring it back to the Bible.

One problem is understanding what is meant by having a personal relationship with Jesus, where it is used as a vague term and seems to mean different things to different Christians. You mention about having your heart in the right place to see the same debate differently and I would somewhat agree, meaning if you replace heart with emotions, an irrational person will see the same debate differently than a rational person. It is not even just about how rational a person is but also how knowledgeable a person is, meaning you can see the same debate differently if you are unable to catch the mistakes made because you don't know enough to recognize them as mistakes. Whether it be irrationality or a level of cognitive dissonance, the individual is often unaware they are the ones not seeing reality properly.
I think there are plenty of good emotional reasons to become a Christian, but intellectually it is far less defensible. This statement doesn't make sense to a Christian, but it makes a lot of sense to an ex-Christian. Put differently, it is in asking the right questions that causes people to intellectually see Christianity has no good answers. This doesn't necessarily mean there is no truth in the biblical God and Jesus, it only means there are problems with the writers delivering that truth and Christians giving poor reasoning and excuses to defend the writers. It also doesn't mean the writers got it all wrong, there are plenty of truths in the bible that even non-Christians can agree with. Unfortunately it is the most important issues of Christianity that are ambiguous and lack good support where you either accept it and believe or you don't.
If a personal relationship with Jesus actually meant Jesus was directly talking to you, it wouldn't matter what the bible says because you are directly connected to the source. However, I don't think this is what Christians have, they either mean Jesus is talking to them through the bible or they believe Jesus is talking to them through signs that they interpret or both. This could mean you need a level of cognitive dissonance to have that relationship, which also means when that cognitive dissonance dissipates, you are left with an ex-Christian, which happens frequently and not just to the common folks but with people who really know the bible and its history where we have ex-preachers, ex-ministers, ex- priests and biblical scholars who study the bible and its history and are not persuaded to become Christians. So my question to you is what do you mean by a personal relationship with Jesus?
Atheists certainly have beliefs but atheism is technically not a belief or belief system. You have to look at it from the perspective of who is claiming "something". Theists are claiming a God exists. The reasonable question to ask is how do you know of this existence? Theists cannot answer this question to a degree of satisfaction to "know" that a God exists, thus you have people who don't believe the claim to be true, but they also cannot know the claim is false. This leads to agnosticism and agnostic atheists. Some atheists actively believe no Gods exists, but most atheists are agnostic atheists, meaning they are certainly open to a case for God existing being made, but have not yet found that case. However, reasonable people if a Godly Intelligence is discovered to be required, will ask how many Gods/Goddesses are involved? If it could be learned that a single God is involved, are any religions about this God correct? If no religion is 100% correct, which religions contain partial truths and what are those truths? Most Christians skip this line of reasoning and just jump to what they want to believe or what they have been taught to believe.

When she started talking about God like one might talk about a toxic ex-boyfriend or something...😅 God isn't "lacking boundaries". He isn't full of "red flags". (How would one even begin to set boundaries with God? "Listen I really like you, but you have to stop calling me at 3am every day"???? 🤨 I don't think that's how it works.)
He literally created us, He wants to have a personal, intimate relationship with us and He's deeply saddened that so many of us are choosing to walk away from Him. We call Him our Father, but how we see the term "father" in an earthly sense doesn't even come close to Him and His love for us.
I think this lady is deeply hurt and she's projecting something onto God. Her mother was/is an addict which probably gives us a clue and even though she didn't elaborate on what her dad was like, he did die when she was young and that alone can be very traumatizing. Oh and she grew up as a fundamentalist... I know not all fundamentalists are cray-cray, but there are some really unhinged ones and it may very well be that the church she used to go to was horrible at its job.
I'm really sad that when she began questioning her faith and God, instead of trying to find out information to strengthen her faith she seems to have just thought "oh well what's the point here, I'm already doubting so f it." 😢
Personally I never knew true faith when I was growing up, I even tried to find a meaning from paganism and atheism when I wad a teenager... Lord never forgot me, He never gave up on me, never stopped calling me home. Before I came to Christ, me and my husband had been trying for a baby for six months with no success. One day I visited a church and I was flooded with emotions... just days before I'd made yet another negative pregnancy test, I felt lost and had began thinking that something is wrong with me. I wasn't intentionally praying, but God heard my thoughts, because literally thr next month we found out that we're having a baby. If that wasn't a "girl hellooo, I'm here???" from Him, I don't know what was, because even though didn't start believing right then, I never forgot what had happened. It took four years, but I got there. My life is forever changed and every day I thank Lord for not giving up on me, a foolish sheep wandering in the desert, He remembered me by name out of millions of others and searched for me. Now I'm a catechumen in my local orthodox church, the very same one that I visited all those years ago.

For example she brings up how hell isnt in the old testament, you showed a video of a guy saying yes "hell" isnt in the bible and that that people can more or less compare it to hell, then you say something contrary and sat that hell is separation of god instead of the torment that the bible and the clip you brought up said.
But to flatly say that the bible doesnt have mistakes is just incredibly ignorant. I dont mean that as an insult though it might be insulting. There are hundreds to thousands of mistakes in the bible and even the theology. To flatly say its perfect is either dishonest or ignorant. It doesnt take much effort to think of examples or research them like you suggested.

I left my thoughts and they were deleted. That's usually a sign people are hiding something, and often these channels only want comments that are praising them or agreeing with them. If the channel owner has to do this, think about what that means other than they're actively trying to persuade people to their side. It means they're aware that their religion is questionable, and they still choose to follow it anyway. That is the sign of a close-minded person who doesn't care about truth and if they don't care about the truth you shouldn't trust them.

The mindset of the human/God relationship being unhealthy comes from our culture not understanding the holiness and uniqueness of God. People think "well, I wouldn't have done that thing that God did." Which is true and good, because we are people who have no right to pronounce judgement in the way that God does. We think of God as another person like us instead of the all good, all powerful creator of everything. That confuses our understanding of the relationship between God and man.
