The RMPA guys are definitely on top of rules and regulations and possible changes; Danny is a HUGE advocate for miners and rights and leads the fight for them, Kerby is an expert and historian on mining in the PNW (published author even!). I prefer to classify my material first before running it in the sluice. The big rocks can pull gold out of your mats and cause weird water flow. Goldhogs or not
Hey, I mention it here because this video gave me the idea. Just give me one if ya make it. A "KEENE KRADLE" Looking at the handle of the sluice box I thought ya know a 2x4 stake through that handle and make an elbow that cradled the sluice tightly, you would only have to worry about 1 spot for a stable spot. I'm gonna try to fabricate something 🤔but if anyone wants to try or knows of something like it let me know. Just mail me 1 for the idea. lol Ofcourse you'd have to call it something different. Keene would probably frown. It would be a pretty simple setup. I got stabilization ideas galore. One of my biggest headaches sluicing. I got Keenes A51 with stand now. It's rougher than it should be. Just have to worry about hitting bedrock/boulders with any stake. Don't want weak metal.
Well i guess I'm more or less copying you guys. Bought a HB 2" pump and built a nozzle and my crash box for my sluice , now I'm ready to head to Taylor, brush, and foster. Get that shiny!!!

I really respect where you are coming from, but I have a question here that I would like to know. Do you think that on a club claim, if someone goes there for the day and see's no one else, and see's a holes all over from previous digs, that you should not dig there until the next season and then it's first come, first serve, and your hole stands claim all year? I am asking because I have always been on private claims until the RMPA, I'm new at shared claims and I want to consider the other miners. Love your videos, what you do, and support our mining brothers out here.⛏⛏

I bought a Goldhog multi-sluice,& added a washington beach mining bilge pump speed control. That is an incredible machine!🦾🍀👍

We've kinda moved away from the RMPA. They have claims all over Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho

Club rules state for a week I believe? If it's obviously been awhile since it's been dug than I say fair game. But if it's fresh I leave it alone.
