  • I wanted an accuracy test with my Bambu Lab P1P. I measured a rod and the read was 23.6mm. So I printed two rings, 23.6mm and 23.8mm in diametre. But they didn't make the right fit I wanted. I printed another one, 23.7mm in diametre. It has a good fit on the rod.
P.S. After I made this video I found my read was incorrect. The read is 23.54mm. A human error is added here. So when I made 0.16mm bigger the fit was right for my design.

Depends on the material as well......
After I design the model in CAD you then have to scale in Babu Slicer, which is a pain.
I wish I could set a default scaling for each vendor's filament type I use, that would be great!

I use PLA+ mostly and with P1P the difference is around 0.15mm. I can live with that. My previous printer was Anycubic Mega Zero V1. Now I am in heaven.😁👍🏻

Ok! The design was 23.7mm but it fits on the rod, 23.54mm in diametre.

    Yep…engineers call it as tolerance.
