I tell my friends and family to never invest in a mask. Either get a small panel or save up and get a bigger panel. A panel, of any size, is an overall better value. You can use it to treat various parts of your body. Another great video man!
Just read your comment literally minutes after purchasing the Omnilux mask, lmao. This video followed up on Alex's review of the Omnilux mask. What a thorough review, Alex. You covered all the angles, gave pros and cons for each, and most importantly, you relied on science & research, not personal opinion. I like the fact that I only need a few minutes in front of my Mito Pro 1500 to have the same effect as 10-15 minutes with a mask on. Thanks for the comparison.
I was about to purchase the Omnilux, but decided to check here for some reviews. Thanks to this video and the comments below, I decided to get the MitoPro. Though my intention was for skincare, I'm curious about its effects on the body. Thank you for your thorough review, and the coupon code!
I did exactly the same. Just before I clicked to buy Ominlux, I read a comment on a panel and started looking into panel and eventually bought Mito 300+. So happy with the decision.
Me too! I was almost purchased the light salon boost LED mask!! But then I see this video, Im now considering to buy the MitoPro too. Have you seen results from it yet? Is it good?
I love the Hooga panels. I have 2. Excellent quality, great prices. The panels have 2 buttons-one for red light amd one for NIR, ehich is great. And excellent customer service
At 3:45 The newest Omnilux mask provides roughly ~35 mW/cm2 according to their FAQ page on their website which is a bit closer to the 40 mW/cm2 from the low end panels. I'm going with panel most likely, but just posting if it helps anyone with deciding.
Excellent video. I agree 100% that a table top panel is the way to go compared to a mask. For travel, I purchased the Mito Mobile Flex. I love my Mito red light therapy products.
Ohh I love the Mito Flex - it's my travel product as well (though lately I'm also taking my Kineon Move+ as the 3 little pods are quite handy for spot treatments)
Great video. I love the omnilux men mask that I purchased. Ten minutes lying down each night and it's relaxing and calms my skin. I like that it wraps closely to my face. The only downside are the Velcro straps to secure to face.. a bit fiddley and basic considering the price paid.
Yeah I agree - the straps are rather cheap. I just finished testing the JOVS mask - that design is SOOO much better - th-cam.com/video/883kYrq2leI/w-d-xo.html
Lov the comparison.. I purchased a hoofs pro 300 series table top and curious about the mask.. thx for pointing out differences!! Appreciate!! Great work as usual ! Bravo 👍💪🏻😉
These facial devices are works good too I had hand held devices like baby quasar and others with there tiny bulbs but you have to put them right on the skin.I was suffering chronic seborrhea and after using it like 20 or 30 minutes the healing started very fast and almost gone in the next day.But my hands got tired and I guess I'll try the panel...
@@LightTherapyInsiderswhat’s your take on wearing eye protection when using the panel? Is it better to turn off the infrared and just use the red light function when using it on the face directly?
just bought the omnilux during their black Friday sale. I travel a lot and thought it would be better for me for that reason. also the masks seem to have ~630nm more often than the panels which I found to have mostly ~660nm, so I liked that. I'm thinking about buying a panel too but I wasn't sure where to start. I'll take a look through your videos and hopefully get some options :)
I bought a mito 3rd generation table top for about 500.00 This was by far a game changer. I also bought one the most expensive masks and it by far was not as effective for me. The face mask did cost more than my mito panel.
Thank you for putting those together. As a person with late stage/chronic lyme, I had been doing it vainly intangent at a tanning salon. So it was a red light BED. This was before my lyme diagnosis but i was having so many mystery/undiagnosed health issues. I could literally feel the spirochetes vibrate through my body in the bed. Now I know why. It helped keep my symptoms at bay, helped with the chronic pain and sure my skin looked better. But it became a necessity. Since moving from that city, I haven’t found another tanning place that has the IR beds. Hence why I’m looking at purchasing something for home use. Which panel also has the blue light (or other) option? If I’m spending the money, it would be nice to also have something good for anti-aging & hormonal breakouts. Again, thank you SO much for getting all this info & research out to the public in a scientific way 🙌 new sub!
Hey! The BioMax 600 and 900 have the blue LEDs as well. You can see more here - aferg.co/redled Otherwise check this video/tool out - th-cam.com/video/kdcliWto3tk/w-d-xo.html it will help you find the product for your needs :)
Your channel is really great. I have a current body mask and helmet, I probably spent £1000 or so on it. But after watching your videos I think the biomax is the best option. I will start with one and try to build up to four
@@LightTherapyInsiders I saw on siim land’s channel, he showed there is a bell curve where too much red light is counterproductive/harmful. Does that mean that more powerful could be a bad thing?
Thank you so much for this video and your other videos. Incredibly informative. I really don’t want a mask with lights right on my face so your solution is superior. I might get the Hooga 300 but I need to see your other videos for comparison first
I have much respect and faith in your thoughts as I appreciate your honestly and objective reviews. I am desperate to use red light therapy, but I am petrified that it will worsen me melasma. I have really bad melasma on my entire face; I am a Fitzpatrick skin type 4. I have tried everything as well as 8% hydroquinone mixed with azelaic acid etc (made a modest difference , I am serious) . I tried Meladerm, Cyspera, Retin A, azelaic acid 15%, Tranexamic acid, Arbutin, Niacinamide, Good molecules, Vit c etc ( and the list goes on) with modest results. I am vegetarian, does not eat processed food and does moderate exercise 3X a week and very vigilant about using sunscreen and reapplying! I would like to try red light therapy but I get mixed results about the effect on melasma, some says it does not affect melasma and some says it does for example Dr Vanita Rattan prohibits the use of red light on skin of color and I believe Dr Sam Ellis made a similar comment. I would appreciate your thoughts on the effects of red light on pigmented skin like mine…much appreciated.
Please watch some videos by Dr Eric Berg on TH-cam. It is likely a hormone issue (too much estrogen) or a diet issue (insulin resistant). This is likely why topical treatments aren't working. Fix the issue within and you will likely fix it's outward reaction.
I have the panels and have to set time to sit in front of it. Wearing a mask makes sense to me because you can multitask with it on. For me, that works better.
I was giving serious thought to buying the artemis mask, its very pricey, but i was willing to pay for quality. After your videos decided to go with the mito pannel. Btw used your code. Thanks 👍
Thank you for all your informative videos and hard work! I am looking to invest in a panel myself, just interested in what your thoughts about lower irradiation + longer duration vs higher irradiation + shorter duration? I think a dermatologist was saying LED light therapy is like marinating meat, the cells need a bit of time to soak up the energy slowly to be effective rather than a strong fast hit. What are you thoughts and experiences?
I went through the debate, panel or mask.? Went panel, so versatile, the whole family uses it, use it on any part of the body , gives light onto the face, neck, and chest in one sitting.
@@lilij1915 Hi, propped on a table for my face . I place the back of my hands in the light, shine it also on my neck, décolleté , turn my head to shine the light on the sides of my face and neck as well. Propped on the table for my back. For the top of my head for hair growth, it is placed on the floor, my head on a few pillows.
Thanks Alex. Would love to see a review of the Lumara 1800 Red light panel. It’s in a different price league but used by cosmetologists and aestheticians. Claimed 6,000 joules of evenly distributed light in just 5 mins. I’m considering this as getting an even distribution of light from my BBL Mega panel requires turning from side to side and really bumps up treatment times.
I bought the Empire Marvelous LED wand that has 4 colors, bought it almost 2 years ago. But I feel like I paid too much - 5,000 when I could have bought one for much less today. So many new LED products today at affordable prices
With the mask, distance from the source is highly predictable, which is important for controlling the amount of energy absorbed during a session. Panels should come with something to let you know exactly how close to stand/lean in.
I may be the exception but I had a good quality panel and a red light mask. I sold both of them as I noticed no results or health benefits from either. I do have a small lamp with red/infra-red light and I use it occasionally to help with small niggling pains in my bones. Otherwise, for me, a complete waste of money.
Wow very interesting! Especially because the science is so solid - th-cam.com/video/7TYWriLoY2k/w-d-xo.html and hundreds of people have shared positive stores on my channel - th-cam.com/video/iH5ez_wxdlM/w-d-xo.html
I used my Omnilux for face for a while kind of disappointed. The charge started malfunction less than 1.5 year. Its under warranty and got a new one, again same thing...charger doesn't work after 1 year. It says fully charged. Plus its so weak and time consuming. I use the face mask for both face and neck, took 20 mins. I m planning to get the Hooga pro300 panel soon. It will save me a lot of time each day and light will cover both face and neck in 5-10 mins. I wish i saw your video earlier. Thanks
Such a great overview, thanks. Do you think surface coverage might affect the results of mask vs panel? The masks contour the whole face whereas the panels leave a lot of open space for light to dissipate. Do you know of anywhere I might find out more about that? Many thanks, Antonia
Yes, this could play into it. As the light is more likely to reflect off when emitted from a distance. But, the panel power output is so much higher, so you need to factor that in as well.
Excellent review thank you. I wish to know which of the devices are FDA approved, FDA cleared or simply FDA registered as I do not feel safe buying a device that is not FDA approved as this is the highest safety rating for home use but it does not attest to the efficacy or results simply safety .
Hi Alex! Thank you so much for this! I was thinking of purchasing the Omnilux Contour, but after watching this video I think the MitoPro 300 would be better. I am interested in only skin care benefits. I have a question I was hoping you could help me with please. Considering I suffer from melasma, would a mask be better for me since it doesn't get too warm? Would the MitoPro 300 make my skin get too warm? I'm worried because melasma is triggered by heat. Please answer. Thank you in advance!
Hi, I also can’t use the masks because it brings out my melasma and it’s actually two things 1. heat and 2. NIR (inferred) so I can only use Red light. The omnilux actually left brown dots from the bulbs on my forehead that’s how I put two and two together as to why I was getting brown patches on my cheeks all of a sudden. I had a perfect line of dots across my forehead and that’s exactly where the lights were on the mask. Good luck and if you find a mask or panel please update me. I’m looking to by another led
One thing I think you didn’t consider (unless I missed it) about silicon masks is that they are up against the skin and the silicon is going to be refracting light all over the place and conducting it into the skin, especially as it warms up from the lights and skin temperature. Because of the use of silicon and it being up against the skin, I think your concerns about the distance of some of the leds in skin contact therapy devices may be unfounded
i was considering the omnilux but I will save up for a full body panel, omnilux is half the price yet just for the face and way way less powerful, if the mask was around $100, It would make sense
Hi Alex, thanks for your informed reviews. What do you think of the Megelin machines that act like a table wrapped around your face or body part? And can you comment on pulsing? This offers a pulse but alternating with the blue light. I can’t find much information. I love my machine!
WORD OF CAUTION ABOUT USING THESE PRODUCTS: I am a healthy 30 year old female bought the Infraredi Slim Lite after watching this video to hopefully help with working out and skin health. It is possible that I am photosensitive and I just didn’t know before buying this product. The product tells you to do a 4 min test on your arm to see how you’ll react to the panel. I tested it out with my arm but was also facing the panel with my face and eye protection maybe about 2 feet away. I realize this was a mistake. After doing the test, I felt a huge wave of energy and ended up having a panic attack and dry heaving for an hour. What’s worse is the strain on the eyes. I had the product’s eye protection on but I felt like the light was still kinda seeping through. I saw stars right after and couldn’t focus my eyes for 12 hours. My eyes continued to be strained and dry for the next few days. They became more sensitive to light. I still don’t think my vision is 100% back to what it was. I’m not saying that red light therapy is bad. Clearly it works for people. What I am saying is that everybody’s body is different and you don’t know how you are going to react to it. If you’re testing this product, face your head away with the eye protection, away from the light the first few times so your eyes are safe. Do the lowest brightness possible for testing. Also make sure someone is in the house with you when you test it. I think it was really helpful that I wasn’t alone when I had a panic attack from the energy I felt after testing the panel.
Are there any panels that do not have inferred or that you can shut off. I get brown spots or it brings out melasma I never had. As soon as a stopped using the Omni mask the discoloration disappeared in a few weeks .
Alex, thank you for this, I’m buying something this week as my daughters bunny chewed through my currentbody mask but I don’t feel that after a year it did anything for fine lines. WHICH smaller desktop model of panel is THE BEST for aging - fine lines/ wrinkles/ skin tightening?!? Is there a post that tells this??
Go with the BioMax 300 - aferg.co/redled - they have a $200 off promo this weekend as well. Check this out for more - th-cam.com/video/tIW95HQuncg/w-d-xo.html
Watching this again for a second time. I have been using the hooga hg300 for 3 years. It's not helping my pigmentation much but it has helped my texture and smoothness. I think the masks are such scams. Most of the companies give a 30 day return window but you cannot even use the mask. It has to be returned unopened. It's nuts. Qure is one of those companies
What would be better for healing the jaw after jaw surgery? I bought a Hooga 300 but it’s kind of annoying having to stick my face in front of the panel. It also doesn’t feel like it’s quite wrapping around my whole face. A mask seems like it would cover all angles of my face and maybe even reach my jaw joints on the side which is another area of concern. My only worry is that the mask might not be as effective as a panel? But if the Hooga mask also deliver near infrared, wouldn’t it theoretically be the same as sticking my face in the panel? My primary goal is to reach the bones in the face.
The heat could. Consider joining my Facebook group; members there have discussed their personal experiences with this. facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
My panel states this: Our device delivers much more than 100mW/cm2 of irradiance at the surface, and at least 73mW/cm2 at 6 inches. With irradiance measurements like these, you can be sure to get an effective, efficient amount of light to your body when using the device. So should i go further away for my face care or shorter time?
Either further away or a shorter time. Those are high numbers, I would ask what meter they measured with. I use a spectrometer, which is very accurate, and my readings are substantially less than what most companies advertise. Most companies do not use a spectrometer.
Great video. I appreciate your hinesty. Even though I have 2 hooga panels and love them, I bought a mask recenly bc I wanted green light for my hyperpigmentation. I agree with you. I am finding the mask to be annoying to put on amd take off. However, I havent foind my pabel to help much with my hyperpigmentation. I have a 60 day window and may return the mask. I can see getting annoyed with it and then I wont use it
Thank you for the info. I'm deciding between Dermalux flex and Omnilux contour. The Dermalux treatment time is 30 minutes as the Omnilux is 10 minutes. I'd buy the Dermalux now but I'm trying to figure out if 10 minutes on both are comparable or if you need more time on the Dermaflex to get results of the 10 minutes. Time may be a factor. Thank you so very much for any thoughts on time comparisons.
I suggest you follow the manufacturer's recommended time and dosing recommendation of 30 minutes for the Dermalux for best results or the 10 minutes with the Omnilux.
I considering purchasing the MitoMind Helmet for someone that had a stroke. I'm interested in what you would say about the efficacy of this device vs a panel.
Hey so honestly I would stay away from the consumer products and work with someone who has experience in this field. You could check out Vielight. Have you tested the aduro face and neck mask? Do you have a video or am affiliate link? Also have you tested any of the wraps? Any affiliate links or videos I can review? Pretty please
I should have bought the label if not only for the fact that the red light can cover face, neck, chest and even hands. Can’t get that with the nasty. I’ll eventually get the panel. Thanks for the review.
Totally agree. Panel is more powerful, more versatile and the session lasts much shorter. For skin 3 min is enough. You didn't mention Mito Original 2.0 panel for $249. In my opinion it's excellent value and takes little space thanks to kickstand you can fold. Mito PRO and Adapt you showed in the video are also great but have larger stand and higher price tag. I would not invest in $400 in a mask if I wanted to do light therapy on face at home. $250 panel will provide much more light. If people need a portable device, still handheld Mito Mobile Flex offers stronger light and much more versatility than a mask for $249!
Thank you so much for your comparison/reviews! Im new to RLT world. Just got myself a biomax 300 panel upon watching your reviews. Im still curious about Artemis mask ( korean brand ). I heard its one of the best. Would love to hear your review on that if you have a chance.
I honestly don't think you will need both. Start with the panel and see if you see results. Treatment with a panel for skin benefits is only 2-4 minutes.www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/red-light-therapy-for-skin-benefits/
None of these panel devices are cleared by the FDA. They are marketed under the ILY code which is 510K exempt, so most are not even tested to the correct electrical safety standards or photobiological standards. The claims made on the panels are completely off label and there are very few of these rigid panels that are cleared under the 510K route.
Omg this helped a lot. I was about to buy a mask. But now I will buy a panel. One question tho. Is this panel grow hair on the face? Because they use this for hair on the head. Does it help hair to hrow on face or body? I have a hair loss, I want to try red light therapy in a long run but afraid of hair growth on my face
I have not heard of any facial hair growth from RLT. I have a Facebook group with over 12,000 members; maybe ask for other's experience? facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
Thank you very much for this video. I’m definitely getting a panel for skin issues and inflammation. No offense but I’m gonna guess this does not help with hair growth? 😂
Can you review this mask? Supposedly the pulse lighting is supposed to be more effective than other LED mask lights: Maysama PRANA LED Light Therapy Mask
There are better masks on the market than those ones. More power doesn’t always mean better, the right amount for the task is what is best. They are two different products and there are masks with more ideal wavelengths and led positioning than panels, plus they don’t produce heat which causes melasma to people prone to hyperpigmentation (typically women). You can still use it on the body if it s the flexible type and won’t take up room if you live in a smaller place. Overall I find the masks to be a product that target women better than man. I choose a good mask that delivers over a panel, will get a panel if I get obsessed with this therapy and want to do all my body at once 😊

I bought red light panel from Chinese website, which has 660nm and 680mn, It is so thin, and foldable, like a laptop, it can be connected to mobile App for controlling , it is sooo advanced than these lights you shows here. I guess they are not the latest tech.
As use have a great experience in red light therapy, can you tell me please if hair max band 82 (for treating hairloss) can be used on the face like the other RLT masks?
Actually a NO-heat red light mask is better to keep melasma from getting worse or possibly happening. Alex does point out that panels create so much heat that they have fans built into the panels, which may or may not make melasma worse. Thank you for this. I have been looking for (asking for) device information to no avail. You have answered almost every question I had in one video. Brilliant! I am wondering if some devices can be used for multitasking, ie helmets for face, masks for hair growth, or a panel for all of the aforementioned. Is this possible? Glad I chose the panel. So do I only need to use it in each area for 5 minutes or the full 10? This thing needs to come with more information, thank you for providing it when the company doesn't. I got the smaller Mito Pro and think I made a good choice. I was able to make payments on it.
It's hard to give exact dosing guidelines (I'll be doing a video on this soon). But if you're using it 6-12 inches away I'd use it for 10mins per area.
I’m sensitive to sounds and it’s very difficult to listen to this video. You say the names of the last two way too fast and I cannot differentiate between the names. What is the name for the taller one at the end of the video? The one that you recommended for beauty? Also I am confused if it includes different colors of light like some light therapy masks do. If so, which lights does it include? Is it loud or completely quiet? Does getting the remote control” make any difference besides just being able to control the machine from your hand? Is this panel EMF free?

What a thorough review, Alex. You covered all the angles, gave pros and cons for each, and most importantly, you relied on science & research, not personal opinion. I like the fact that I only need a few minutes in front of my Mito Pro 1500 to have the same effect as 10-15 minutes with a mask on. Thanks for the comparison.
Hey thank you :)
I was about to purchase the Omnilux, but decided to check here for some reviews. Thanks to this video and the comments below, I decided to get the MitoPro. Though my intention was for skincare, I'm curious about its effects on the body. Thank you for your thorough review, and the coupon code!
Thank you! Let me know how you get on with it.
I did exactly the same. Just before I clicked to buy Ominlux, I read a comment on a panel and started looking into panel and eventually bought Mito 300+. So happy with the decision.
I did the same thing, ended up getting the MitoPro 750 so I could use it all over my body. I might get a mask that packs flat for travel thought
Me too! I was almost purchased the light salon boost LED mask!! But then I see this video, Im now considering to buy the MitoPro too. Have you seen results from it yet? Is it good?
@@nanana7067 I love it! It’s excellent for sleep as well!
I love the Hooga panels. I have 2. Excellent quality, great prices. The panels have 2 buttons-one for red light amd one for NIR, ehich is great. And excellent customer service
Thanks for sharing Yeah the simple on/off switches does make things rather easy! I wish it had a timer though, that would be a nice addition.
At 3:45 The newest Omnilux mask provides roughly ~35 mW/cm2 according to their FAQ page on their website which is a bit closer to the 40 mW/cm2 from the low end panels. I'm going with panel most likely, but just posting if it helps anyone with deciding.
Oh neat!
I found that has 46mW/cm2. Do you think that's good to stick withthe mask?
Excellent video. I agree 100% that a table top panel is the way to go compared to a mask. For travel, I purchased the Mito Mobile Flex. I love my Mito red light therapy products.
Ohh I love the Mito Flex - it's my travel product as well (though lately I'm also taking my Kineon Move+ as the 3 little pods are quite handy for spot treatments)
Really glad I found this video. Bought a mito pro mobile rather than a mask. Love that I can hold it towards my face, hair, and other treatment spots
Yeah it's a lot more convenient.
Thanks so much! I was spiralling so hard on deciding which mask to buy now Black Friday is coming up. I know now that won’t be the case anymore.
I am glad it was helpful!
Thank you. Just the information I was looking for!
You're welcome!
I appreciate all your videos. Very informative. I have the Mito Pro panel and love it!
Good choice!
This is great, and I love all the points you raised. Thank you for doing this for us ladies who are interested in reducing our wrinkles.
It was my pleasure :)
Lov the comparison.. I purchased a hoofs pro 300 series table top and curious about the mask.. thx for pointing out differences!! Appreciate!! Great work as usual ! Bravo 👍💪🏻😉
Glad it was helpful!
Hey, wow great to hear your had good results!
Which is the best hand held device?
@@traceytrotter9934 The Baby Quasar MD plus is the best it heals fast my seborrhea ..
Hey!
Check this out as well - www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/light-therapy-101-buyers-guide/
I bought a mito 3rd generation table top for about 500.00 This was by far a game changer. I also bought one the most expensive masks and it by far was not as effective for me. The face mask did cost more than my mito panel.
Yeah some of these masks are pricey!!
Could I use one of thoese small panels on knee and buldging disk innlower back?
You can see more here - aferg.co/redled
Otherwise check this video/tool out - th-cam.com/video/kdcliWto3tk/w-d-xo.html it will help you find the product for your needs :)

10:39 Marketing is a very powerful thing 🌟✨💥 You are absolutely right 👍🏻
😊
Your channel is really great. I have a current body mask and helmet, I probably spent £1000 or so on it. But after watching your videos I think the biomax is the best option. I will start with one and try to build up to four
Many people are happy with the mask. I prefer a panel.
@@LightTherapyInsiders I saw on siim land’s channel, he showed there is a bell curve where too much red light is counterproductive/harmful. Does that mean that more powerful could be a bad thing?
Can you talk about the red light panels on Amazon that have the same wavelength?
Hey, can you share a link to one example and I'll have a look at it.
Thank you so much for this video and your other videos. Incredibly informative. I really don’t want a mask with lights right on my face so your solution is superior. I might get the Hooga 300 but I need to see your other videos for comparison first
This may help - th-cam.com/video/Z813qDjCGgE/w-d-xo.html
Makes sense, whatever works!
PERFECT!!!! Will never go for a mask then Alex.
The mask still has a place - especially if you value multi-tasking and moving around etc. Never say never :P
Thank you, I was planning on buying a panel and I'm glad I saw your video.
Glad I could help
I was giving serious thought to buying the artemis mask, its very pricey, but i was willing to pay for quality. After your videos decided to go with the mito pannel. Btw used your code. Thanks 👍
Thanks! And yeah the panel offers great value.
Yes, definitely something to this.
Check out this section of my interview with James Carroll - th-cam.com/video/jUCt5CmGrcI/w-d-xo.html
I went through the debate, panel or mask.? Went panel, so versatile, the whole family uses it, use it on any part of the body , gives light onto the face, neck, and chest in one sitting.
Is it hanging on a wall or propped on a table?
Hey, interesting. Ok I'll look into it :)
this was so useful thank you!
I'm so glad!
I bought the Empire Marvelous LED wand that has 4 colors, bought it almost 2 years ago. But I feel like I paid too much - 5,000 when I could have bought one for much less today. So many new LED products today at affordable prices
Wow yeah that is pricey!
With the mask, distance from the source is highly predictable, which is important for controlling the amount of energy absorbed during a session. Panels should come with something to let you know exactly how close to stand/lean in.
Great idea!
Thanks
That’s disappointing but glad it is covered under the warranty. I think you will be happy with the Hooga panel.
That's another thing I was thinking for the mask, uneven coverage because of the light spacing.
It is a valid thought.
Hey, I don't know if any of the devices are FDA approved- but i think the technology itself is.
Excellent review Alex!
Glad you liked it!
excellent advice again thank you Alex
Glad you liked it!
Maybe yes. Though if you get a panel that has a dimming/intensity function - you can lower the power output to reduce any heat build up.
Valid point!
i was considering the omnilux but I will save up for a full body panel, omnilux is half the price yet just for the face and way way less powerful, if the mask was around $100, It would make sense
Thats it!
Hi Alex, thanks for your informed reviews. What do you think of the Megelin machines that act like a table wrapped around your face or body part? And can you comment on pulsing? This offers a pulse but alternating with the blue light. I can’t find much information. I love my machine!
Hey sorry I'm not familiar with those machines.

WORD OF CAUTION ABOUT USING THESE PRODUCTS:
I am a healthy 30 year old female bought the Infraredi Slim Lite after watching this video to hopefully help with working out and skin health.
Glad you are okay. Thanks for sharing!
This makes sense but why do you reckon most people still saw a difference in your skin after you had used the Omnilux Men for 5 weeks?
I actually think it was the lighting in the photos.
Good question!
How long and how frequently should you use a panel for wrinkles?
I have some great articles on my website addressing this question and several other factors you would like.www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/tag/guides/
Are there any panels that do not have inferred or that you can shut off. I get brown spots or it brings out melasma I never had. As soon as a stopped using the Omni mask the discoloration disappeared in a few weeks .
Yes, most if not all of the panels the NIR can be shut off.
Can we get an updated review with current studies on this?
I will try in 2025!
Glad it has helped your texture and smoothness.
I think a panel is more efficient and powerful.
Does the higher intensity of the panels cause melasma in darker skin?
I can see getting annoyed with it and then I wont use it
Do you find the mask helping with hyperpigmentation?
Yeah I was so glad when my mask experiment ended - and that was only a 5 week experiment!
@@voiful I returned my mask. It was too annoying
Do the panels emit only red light, or near-IR as well?
Both red and NIR
For brain improvements?
@@lilij1915 I'm interested in knowing if the MitoMind Helmet has a better efficacy over a standard panel.
Hey so honestly I would stay away from the consumer products and work with someone who has experience in this field.

Thanks for watching.
Could I use this mito panel for hair, face. Arthritic knee and bulding disk pain in lower back? I been using ir sauna everyday for about 15-20 min
Could you please review celluma? I guess it is in between?
It's on the list. Working on my Dermalux Flex MD review first :)
Which brand do you recommend please?
I believe Platinum LED is an FDA class ll medical device.
Mask is only for face, Panel can be used for different parts of body😊
Glad I chose the panel, more versatile.
Thats it.
I think too much time had passed since my hair started thinning.

Any of the top 5 will help.
Thank you this helped me so much
You're welcome!
Thank you have convinced me indeed❤
:)
Thx dude I was thinking of getting a led mask but a panel would be much easier and flexible.
Agreed
Thanks for your thoughts!

I bought red light panel from Chinese website, which has 660nm and 680mn, It is so thin, and foldable, like a laptop, it can be connected to mobile App for controlling , it is sooo advanced than these lights you shows here. I guess they are not the latest tech.
Glad you are happy with it.
Can you post link here . TIA
As use have a great experience in red light therapy, can you tell me please if hair max band 82 (for treating hairloss) can be used on the face like the other RLT masks?
Sorry, I am not familiar with that devise. Most devices can be used elsewhere, but you would need to check with the manufacturer.
can you review the sleeping bag?
I just watched that video. It is in his history.
Actually a NO-heat red light mask is better to keep melasma from getting worse or possibly happening.
Alex does point out that panels create so much heat that they have fans built into the panels, which may or may not make melasma worse.
See an explanation from a medical doctor: th-cam.com/video/yKx1St5NJI0/w-d-xo.html
Melasma is tricky and as you know, heat can worsen it.
Is true, that for the most profound effect it should always be used 4 wavelengths (630nm, 660nm, 830nm and 850nm) panel?
A good blend of wavelengths is best. However, I saw befits with RLT with panels that only has 2 wavelengths. Check out the articles on my website regarding different wavelengths.www.lighttherapyinsiders.com/tag/guides/
Should I use the infrared and red led light together or should I switch off the infrared for a facial?

Thank you for this. I have been looking for (asking for) device information to no avail. You have answered almost every question I had in one video. Brilliant! I am wondering if some devices can be used for multitasking, ie helmets for face, masks for hair growth, or a panel for all of the aforementioned. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.
For multitasking, I would recommend a panel.
How what do you compare the platinum LED Biomox 900 to the dermal Works flex device for skin benefits?? Thank you!
Huh?
Thank you for the videos!

Is this information still accurate? Going back and forth between mask versus panel
Yes, it still holds true.

I have not reviewed it, so I can't give an honest opinion.
@@LightTherapyInsiders What would you say is the best LED panel for skin and anti-ageing in your opinion also what's your opinion on pulse light for skin and anti-ageing?
What about the mito blanket as a travel option, that you can then lie on while at home under your panels?
Hey, I haven't reveiwed that one yet - but I have reviewed this - th-cam.com/video/d4rhHOJR4FM/w-d-xo.html
Also - if travel is the goal - then you will love this video - th-cam.com/video/oDgHhZJVbsg/w-d-xo.html
Glad I chose the panel. So do I only need to use it in each area for 5 minutes or the full 10? This thing needs to come with more information, thank you for providing it when the company doesn't. I got the smaller Mito Pro and think I made a good choice. I was able to make payments on it.
Is it hand held?
@@lilij1915 No, it is the small tabletop.
It's hard to give exact dosing guidelines (I'll be doing a video on this soon). But if you're using it 6-12 inches away I'd use it for 10mins per area.
What do you all think of Led pads?
I need to test some before I can comment. They may be a great option given their price point.
Every panel is slightly different regarding wavelengths (aka color). Sorry about the sound. You can shut the volume off and read the transcript if that helps. Here is a review of the best beauty panels:
