As a Floridian, took our first trip up to Maine this summer and it was glorious to get out of the humidity and 100 degree temps! Can't wait to get back up to New England next summer
Well, I'm so sorry to see that you had a mishap. I hope you are recovering well. Pretty good mileage for a weighted down vehicle. It seems like you were the leader of this trip, good for you. Please stay well and safe.
Those vans are great! My neighbor has one with 400,000. miles and s.till drives it every day! Another friend had one with 450,000. and would still be driving it but he hit a deer and totaled it. Wonderful vans if you take a little care of them! Plus they drive and ride good.
My parents had a '07 with my family of 6, and man was that thing reliable. We would push it past its payload on our almost 1000mile roadtrip to my grandparents, and the transmission wasn't the happiest sometimes when it was in overdrive. However, that van also took us up mountain roads and was used for in-town driving. That van got over 230k hard miles over 14years on it before it was totaled, but probably had several more left in it.
Nice trop Rural! The sciatica problem will never get fixed by medical doctors. They just write scripts.Go to a good physical therapists or find a massage therapists who deals in this. Manipulating the muscles and stretching it out will fix you up. Believe me i started with sciatica when I was in my 20's. The doctors told me id never do physical work again. well 30 yrs later i'm still going because of what I mentioned! hope this helps!
I'm part way in, but even as a diehard GM fan I'd say the Toyota will be fine, those things are bulletproof! Your Chevy truck is looking amazing too. Sorry your back was giving you problems, that really sucks.
Sorry about your back and your eye, but man, how about that old Toyota minivan?! Can't beat it. Looked like an awesome trip. I also loved seeing all that snow at your house.
Don’t let that liquid courage get you in more trouble then you can back up bro ! Sometimes you gotta bite your tongue especially around baltimore a lot of road rage with guns !!!
Hope ur back gets better I rolled my ankle last year and it hasn't been right since Funny seeing you on the beltway DC and VA I'm on those roads everyday for the passed 25 years and I still completely hate them
Glad you made back to the southland to visit us, but hate you had problems while here. My back can't take long trips like it used to so my chiropractor finds me someone where I'm going who can adjust my back when I get there.
Another great video, Rural. We watch 'em all. Glad you and your buds got to do a neat 'spring break' trip to the beach. The van did great! Not a toyota fan but hey, it's testament to their reliability. Sorry your back gave problems and for your eye injury. Don't worry....your eye will 100% heal and you will be just as handsome as ever! Good luck!
Literally just messaged you on Instagram, so glad you posted. I look forward to all of your videos. Especially the road trip ones! Can you do an updated video on all your cars? And are you daily driving that Chevy? The one from Seattle
Q-MAN! I've been watching for a new video, and wondered how you were doing, as I heard Vermont got hammered with snow. Watching now, and hoping no issues.
Man out of all the 178 cars I’ve owned my two best cars were my 2001 Toyota sienna vans. They are the best and I actually daily drove one for a couple years. Love them.
My engine light is on for the same thing on my 02 Camry XLE V6 and when the engine light is on it triggers the VSC and Traction Control once cat issue is fixed special procedure to reset the other lights, can't simply turn engine light off other will stay on.
black eye, sciatica, and a cold rough spring break but hey at least u know that was a great purchase i know u r a chevy guy but would love a video on ur thoughts on that toyota, would be interesting to see if ur opinion has changed
Recover soon! I will never see what appeals about Myrtle Beach...lol. I guess since I grew up in SC, it never was interesting for me. Enjoyed seeing the sights of the trip! That van was a beast.
Sciatica and a Black Eye...But you should of seen the state of the other guy! 😱 Great video ARV...Really enjoyed it...Thank You! Hope you feel better soon!
I resubscribed after catching up with your life. However, I think, everyone including myself, would appreciate an updated fresh new video! Thank you for all that you do!
LOL....9pm...with that prescription I have no doubt you were in and out. Throw those things away as soon as possible. Based on the black eye I imagine the trip was edited heavily. Glad you mostly had fun.
My 2004 has the common knock sensor failure code. It is my daily beater and not worth the fix for the advantage of 5th fear mpg. The paint on the right rear quarter panel and roof are faded but guess that is my fault for not washing and waxing.
Great job fellas, be prepared to get a second bill from Urgent Care for the trip there. Took Wife to Urgent care for UTI , $ 5.00 for scrip for antibiotics at the drug store. Got a bill for $ 900.00 a month later even though l paid with GM Blue Cross card. l hope it doesn't happen to you.
Great gas mileage with 6 men and all the luggage, better than six women on a long road trip saying every 50 miles I need to pee and wasting time , could have tied up Jeb on the roof re rack 😀 lol and took him along too Glad you all had a safe and fun trip. Always stay safe and take care .
First feel better .... now i just wonder did the license plate get taken off just for filming the back of the van...or did you make it down and back without getting stopped for no plates on the car? my luck would have been stopped in every state especially myrtle beach at spring break time when they watch for everything..
You made out good buying that one at auction. Knew you were going to make it there and back with no problems!!! Hope you recover well. Sleep heels all. 😁👍🏻
Amazing, trip, the van worked great, the girls are good looking too haha. Hi have the same in my back and its not funny. That black eye?! You been in a fight?! Wish you a fast recovery
Do you worry about the timing belt in you auction purchases? What about it failing unless you change it? Like this van, was it done, is there a sticker?
@@ARuralVermonterQqjmcb182 yes, this one has it and thats great, looks like it was looked after. I should have asked in general how do you feel about timing belt engines?
@@petersmith7140 ah. If it is past the mileage and there’s no sticker indicating the last change then I am wary of the buying unless it’s a non interference engine
Isn't that an AWD van ? Seems like you and your friends enjoyed your selfs, hope you had fun with the women, too bad you got hurt (was alcohol involved in the eye injury ? 😁 ). I like your road trips, you keep it simple, no unnecessary or fake drama, your living a good life.

thanks! i certainly didn't lead the trip, only provided the van haha. but was a great time

Thanks for taking us along. I'm glad the Sienna did not disappoint! Hope you are feeling better! 👍
That blue truck is so nice I hope your washing it all the time so it don’t turn into a rust bucket
Black eye, warm weather sounds like a great trip
Gotta love those minivans ! They were so versatile with family and hauling stuff . I miss mine all the time .
Same here. I miss mine sold at six months ago.
Not the Dawgs (feet) on the dashboard at 18:48
9:38 I recognize that exact exit of the BW parkway , that's right where I live haha no shoulder to pull off of, cool you guys drove by
Gawd Dayum, you boys keep some good looking company around!

But man you suffered through that one!
I hope you are doing well now!
Much love from Canada ❤
I'm glad you guys made it home safe.

Always wondered about those Toyotas so definitely looking forward to this.
You gonna tell us bout the black eye? 😊😊
Way to live a good life. Sienna for road trips forever

Straight run on route 95 from new jersey, went to south Carolina years ago, gorgeous state, didn't want to leave lol

Always a good day when the rural Vermonter uploads a video
It's funny because people always make fun of minivans but damn, they are a useful tool!
What a great time in your life, thanks for posting.....................
WTH happened , did you get ran over by one of those stupid squatted trucks! LOL .. Seriously , I hope that you are better man.
First rule of fight club
I don't understand those rear squatting trucks.😅😂. Must be a Carolina thing

Always very interesting vids. Hope your feeling better. It sounds like a muscle spasm to me. You can't beat a Toyota 👍
Oh it is sciatica for sure haha. Numb leg crazy pain and loss of movement in my right side. Still a fun trip!
@@ARuralVermonterQqjmcb182 stay 💪
Did your injuries involve alcohol at night? 😄 Hope you feel better soon man
I always enjoy your videos! It looks like you found a winner in that Toyota van. You should get some great use out of it!
Sorry about your Sciatica issues I have it to No fun at all, how did you get the black eye.
Literally just messaged you on Instagram, so glad you posted. I look forward to all of your videos. Especially the road trip ones! Can you do an updated video on all your cars? And are you daily driving that Chevy? The one from Seattle
We will all standby and wait for the non-PG version of this trip!
Hahaha
Did u get in a fight bro
That’s what I thought
Nah he "fell down the stairs"
You don’t get black eyes from falling down stairs that’s an excuse you tell your parents😂
His boyfriend “disciplined” him
You got an excellent buy on this van, especially by it being AWD.
Q-MAN!
I've been watching for a new video, and wondered how you were doing, as I heard Vermont got hammered with snow.
Watching now, and hoping no issues.
Wow you went through Danbury, CT that’s where I live!
I hope that the other guy is worst off! 😮what’s up with that gmc 4 on the floor trucker? Busy at college? 😊 great to see a vid!
Tranny is still waiting on parts… it’s a ridiculous wait I know
You guys passed right by me! Loved seeing all the i95 landmarks. Looks like you guys had fun
That was a fun video.
It looked like your timing was perfect for the weather down south.
#schoolworkfirst
....then content.🙂

thanks! I'm still waiting on the trans to be rebuilt... not sure why its taking so long
I've been waiting for a video of this van!
Just got to the hospital part: Oof, hope you recover fast!
Ah the joy of youth and on a side note I am glad recording devices weren’t as prevalent when I was adventuring 🤣
Finally something that's not a GM proving a little reliability 😎
Hey.. how is it possible that youre driving without plates? How does it work in VT?
Thanks for another interesting video. Looks like a fun trip, mostly. Take care of yourself & feel better soon!
black eye, sciatica, and a cold rough spring break but hey at least u know that was a great purchase
i know u r a chevy guy but would love a video on ur thoughts on that toyota, would be interesting to see if ur opinion has changed
Hey man! Hell yes it will make it !
Recover soon! I will never see what appeals about Myrtle Beach...lol. I guess since I grew up in SC, it never was interesting for me. Enjoyed seeing the sights of the trip! That van was a beast.
I remembered scratching the hood on one of those old minivans on accident whenever I rubbed a bucket of ice across the hood at work
Was there one less person in the van on the way back?
One friend stayed for a few more days to spend time with his girlfriend
Sciatica and a Black Eye...But you should of seen the state of the other guy! 😱
Great video ARV...Really enjoyed it...Thank You! Hope you feel better soon!
Haha thanks
I thought that haha

all that you do!
I was just at the Myrtle beach car show!!! Lots of beautiful ford mustangs!!! All them Chevy boys and their squatted trucks!!! What a damn waste
Not too shabby for a Yodavan ,glad you guys made it there and back!
It would be cool to see you get another camper!
Looks like ARV visits the Dirty Myrtle and gets in a bar fight.
Without watching the video, I bet it will. Those things are very durable.
Glad to see that your back with a video :)
The swagger wagon 😂 hope u recover well! 👍
Wow! Great video as usual! Love it!!🎉
You told me everything but did you registered the van as I didn’t see any plates on or are you allowed to drive with out registration
LOL....9pm...with that prescription I have no doubt you were in and out. Throw those things away as soon as possible. Based on the black eye I imagine the trip was edited heavily. Glad you mostly had fun.
Haha yes I was a little loopy on the ride home… pills have been tossed
Lol love these videos hopefully we see more auction at road trips and maybe even longer videos of the trip but love your content man
These vans are so good at road trips. You could get them woth adaptive cruise too which I'm sure just helped even moreso
Toyota is the BEST VEHICLE EVER!! They're reliable, safe, and high-quality vehicles EVER!
My 2004 has the common knock sensor failure code. It is my daily beater and not worth the fix for the advantage of 5th fear mpg. The paint on the right rear quarter panel and roof are faded but guess that is my fault for not washing and waxing.
I have friends in Guilford Vermont just outside of Brattleboro, its beautiful there ! I would swap out the other 3 tires for safety !
13:00 uggh... squatted trucks... WhistlinDiesel needs to mulch them! 🤣🤣
haha for sure
Really nice van. I'm trying to find one for sale in good condition here in Minnesota, but high demand is making it difficult
glad to see a new video hope all goes well
I have the same problem with my back there are some stretches that help you can find them on TH-cam

It makes a good work vehicle too
I see you’re in south Florida near me!!!

No plates on the van?
Leaving the snow on the top makes it look like a thick mattress on top
Minivan 😊
Did you end up selling the Chrysler minivan? I remember seeing it a while back.
I still have it
I have sciatica to keep moving it feels better if your moving
