Wowww thank you so much, honored to be mentioned🙏🏽
YAY! I love it when you guys come by and see these. You get the pin for this one!
I ALMOST missed your reaction to this song. I downloaded all of them a couple of weeks ago... but notice your recent one on my watch page and had to include it.
Hope to include you in more in the future!
@@WonderMommaOG I appreciate you 🙏🏽I didn’t even know but one of my supporters told me and I had to stop by. God bless you MommaOG❤️🙏🏽
@@StaxReacts I'm so glad you did. I always feel bad for not making a comment on reactor pages when I use one but it's a lot of work to do that. lol
You won me over with the Tribe "Electric Relaxation" reaction and I haven't even watched the whole thing yet. 🤣
@@WonderMommaOG it’s only right. I know how much work it must’ve taken to download these videos and put them together. The least we can do as reactors is stop by and show support. You have a life long friend over here 🙏🏽❤️
@@StaxReacts Awww... that's amazing. Thank you so much. 😊🤗 Music is so fucking amazing in bringing people together. I could just cry. 🤣 Sorry I didn't discover you until just this week but I'm excited to see what else you got and probably talk to some of my regulars about ya in my next livestream. 😅 You are definitely going in my Tribe compilation(s).
The clubs were always jumpin with this song in the 90’s!!!!
90s, you should see places now that put this on, everyone jumping
I'm low stamina, but I would overdo it every time it came on 😅
U know!!!!
Better than that, they're Irish.
Na there grandfather probably scratched his arse in the direction of Ireland, and like most white Americans, claimed Irish heritage.
@@westcardiffian I'll just assume you're black
Every time I drink I'm Irish
Some of us actually are Irish/American 😉 🧡🤍💚🍀🇨🇮 🇺🇸
@@westcardiffianeverybody loves Ireland
Awesome. This is so fun. They just don’t know how much fun we had in the late 80s and 90s. They were connected with Cypress Hill. Both are awesome
That was an amazing time to be alive, wasn't it? Even if we had no idea, at the time, how special it was.
Agreed! Back in the day, clubs were banging with songs like these. So many memorable years of clubbing. Obviously, I don't do that anymore as I'm older now. Best time of my life.
JUMP AROUND! 🎉❤😂
Truth!!
Totally agree love from New Zealand the music was so awesome
This is a 90's icon !!! 🇨🇮🇨🇮🤜🤛🇨🇮🇨🇮
I was in a bar in New Orleans in the late 90s that had an upstairs dance club. This song came on and halfway through it the bouncers had to stop everyone from jumping because the floor was flexing. This was guaranteed to hype the club.
I’m not shocked honestly. I used to think stories like this were exaggerated until I ran a race in Detroit about a decade ago. We ran over ambassador bridge to Canada. Due to all the runners. When I stopped to take a photo of the sunrise I could barely stand up due to the violent shaking of the bridge. It’s crazy. You can’t notice if you are walking or running.
Quality comes in all shades. We are all brothers and sister….respect.
Music is music, people are people …love is love! Have a great day
They were Irish American rappers.
This was a huge hit in the early 90's.
This was played everywhere, in clubs, on the radio constantly, and the music video was played all the time on MTV and VH1...when MTV used to play music videos.
I remember lowriders cars and Monticello cars used to bump this song loud driving by all the time when I was young.
It was huge, everyone use to dance to this song and jump around at parties and kickbacks.
One of the best hip hop songs ever. Blew up right out of the gate--heard the 1st time at a house party where a punk band covered it and everybody went crazy. Listened to the rest of the album, and I'll just say that "Jump Around" is one of the best hip hop songs ever.
Yes indeed!!!
This is the Type of Banger we need nowadays (2024) 👍💯🤘
30 years later and I can still spit every word. legendary song.
Same
Nice1 .That was pure gift ☘☘☘☘☘☘Much love from Dublin Ireland 💚💚💚
I love some House of Pain & Cypress Hill. Their music is soooo 🔥🔥 Play this and every person over 30 is gonna jump. Thank you WonderMomma for this trip down memory lane. ❤
Oh you just like d j muggs... 😁😁😁
Facts
Their reactions are exactly how we looked and felt just growing up in the 90’s
Mr. Video - The Flavor Flav, hype man of reaction channels 😅 Great work!!
Hahahahah that's an awesome comparison!
He is awesome! Love him so much!!
And then, when they find out that the vocalist is Everlast- yes, that Everlast- and the DJ is DJ Lethal from Limp Bizkit...
One of the most iconic hip-hop songs of all time, I mean who hasn’t heard this classic cut.
Love has no color. We all just pitch in and we all enjoy the dish you want.
No better, no worse.
Whitey Ford is doing the Rappin in this, he also Created the Band Everlast and they...are serious into the Rap Game. Everlast is one of my all time Rap Groups, especially "White Trash Beautiful", "Ends" and "What its Like"! HOP had a serious Beef with Cypress Hill back in the day!
I graduated from high school in the 90's this song and Red Red Wine were played at every dance.
"I'm not black like Barry White, I'm white like Frank Black is" - The Bloodhound Gang
And it makes Stevie Wonder...
Thank you Momma, your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Me and my friends use to bump this back in the day. ❤
Dropped in 1992. This song came on in the club/bar, the place went crazy.
It's 2024. This song comes on in the club/bar, the place goes crazy. 🤘😎
Facts
I'm a 90s teenager and this was a Huge hit. Love it. Whomever posted this you should do a reaction to Rob Base
It Takes Two is on my list!
WOW! The amount of research and editing that you have to do for each video. Not to mention the organization. So much respect. Happy that TH-cam put that on my feed. Can’t wait for the next one.
💬Changing it up just a bit. As a lover of music of all genres, this is another staple from my youth!
I should mention that I’ve been doing the ending commentary a little differently the last few videos. I have to be honest, by the time I get to this point in a video, I’m a bit burnt out on the whole project and just ready to get the video done. 😅 My focus is always on the songs/artists themselves so I hope that anyone who wants to see detailed commentary from the reactors will go visit their videos directly.
Most of the reactors have heard at least the chorus of this song, or know it from the sample that Eminem and Busta Rhymes did of the song. This song is also a stadium favorite at Wisconsin University football games when the whole crowd starts jumping around. th-cam.com/video/0qO0DVIbHjw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WinOJ-RiSxLX5mOw Enjoy! 💜
Posted a thank you but my post disappeared?
@@danusdragonfly6640 nope, I see two of them outside of this comment.
oh your youth and mine! 😆 not gonna lie, I was about 3-4 videos from doing this off my list. gonna go and check this one off now. good job. this is most likely better then I was gonna do anyway.
@@shotaholic1 Apologies! Honestly, I think you should do the song at some point if it was as big of a song in your life as it was in mine. I don't see anything wrong with us doing the same songs. I did miss a few reactors I think. I would love to see your editorial perspective on it!
I have a song on my list that Derek has done already that is just MANDATORY for me to do. 😅 But I am going to wait a while longer (been almost a year and a half) to make sure I can use different reactors in it. I did that with "The Pot".
I told @DerekBrooksEdits the same thing with the Cult of Personality video. I would really love to see his creation of that song.
We each bring something unique to the process and for anyone who loves watching reactions... any well edited compilations are fun to watch. I have a special place in my internet heart (😅) for the both of you as fellow creators in this niche and love watching your content. I also appreciate both of you coming here to watch mine. 💜
@@WonderMommaOG thank you for the kind words…I appreciate it as much as I appreciate you guys and the work you both do also. I know we all had that unwritten rule of not copying a song that is already done…but I guess one here or there from time to time is not that bad. I’ll wait and give it a little time and maybe I’ll come back to it?
This takes me back… LOVE IT!! ☘️
I can't tell you the number of clubs I jumped in, in the 90's. A lot. Not only when it was new, but years after. The man that mentioned the old-school hip-hop was made with a great beat to get people together and just move, is 100% correct.
I live in America, in a middle size city, and we had a plethora of under-age clubs. And that is what we did. The bars would lock down the liquor one night a week or we even had one at a laser tag place that shut down to make a "club". Not to mention the roller-skating rinks. There would be lines to get in and once you were, you never saw an adult. They crammed us in and still it was safe because we just wanted to dance.
We had no phones, amazing music, and LOVING that we were our own generation, very different than our parents, and that made us the same.
Watching Camp Randall at Wisconsin bounce to start the 4th quarter makes this song legendary!
I used to go to this club in Louisiana in the early 90s. The dance floor was on the 2nd story of this old club. There were times when we were jumping so hard when this song was playing that I was afraid we’d break the floor! 😂
My sister and I broke the living HELL out of our beds jumping one from the other hype on this tape. The parentals just didn't understand how powerless we were to straight 🔥
Yep, House of Pain is Irish American! This song rocked my younger years on repeat till now! The 90's was such blast, regardless of the genre of music! It was just a fun ride back then!
Awesome job on this one!!!! Definitely JUMPED right up to my fav. that you've done so far! Thank you for all your hard work and time!
Everyone jumps to this song. I put my nephew when he was like 10 months old in his jumper thing that you hang from the doorway. He went so crazy jumping around, i thought he was going to break the thing!
😂 adorable! 🥰
The band "Sublime", formed in 1988, is worth a listen too as they have a very hip hop/rap style as well & the singer is a white boy. Unfortunately the Singer, Bradley Nowell, died the same year the band released their first album which must have been a bittersweet moment for the other band members & Bradley's family . "Sublime" disbanded after that but I recently read the band is getting back together with Bradley's son Jakob Nowell on the vocals, that's something worth checking out for sure!
From the movie Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams. The kids jamming to this song.
Back in the day we lost our minds when the first screech came on the club literally bounced I love it thanks for the memory❤
I have done this with some songs myself, you hear it and your mind instantly makes an unconscious decision based on circumstantial evidence. The great thing is everyone laughed at themselves and their own shock. Heartwarming.
Lol😂 good vibes
This is crazy. I was just watching a bunch of reactions to this the night before. This is why I love your channel so much. I especially love the fun feel good songs. Ty WMOG ❤
Haven’t heard this song in forever! Must have song on a CD💿 mix for the car back in the day. Love your taste in music❤ Another awesome mashup👌 Keep up the great work WonderMommaOG👍 Already looking forward to the next one
Thank you for all your hard work. Well done.
P.S. Thanks for the intro to the metal cover, didn't know that existed sounded great.
I love when young ones here the blast of the pipes. This is iconic
I had a smile in my face from start to finish! Love it
AMAZING! Wonderful gift for February - this song is & always will be the greatest hype song ever! Can't count the number of times this song has been played in parties! Legendary indeed! Thanks for the upload! More power to the channel & God bless from the 🇵🇭
There were quite a few voices in music that were thought to be “black”, it’s been a long time so I can’t remember them all (in no particular order)
Michael McDonald - Mind you there were a few people who remembered that he was from the Doobie Brothers so yes, some remembered he was white. But I remember that some of his hit songs from his solo career, when the next generation had heard him, was absolutely SHOCKED when they found out he was white. Especially when he did that song with Miss Patti LaBelle.
The Bee Gees - Again, it’s something of a generational thing. Many people knew that The Bee Gees were three white brothers but when the next generation heard their music for the first time, they were blown away by the fact that they were white.
Snow - Many people are a bit confused on the timeline of “Informer” his one and only US hit. Snow was actually already incarcerated when his song hit the air waves. From my memory, a friend of his had given the tape to some radio stations he knew. They played his song and everyone just assumed he was a Jamaican boy. Didn’t help that many missed the lyric when he says “many people think I’m from Jamaica but I’m from Canada.” He filmed the video upon his release so when it premiered, many were like: “WAIT.. HE’S WHITE!?” It also didn’t help that he rapped most of the song in the common Jamaican language.
House of Pain - This one is a bit different. Anyone who was old enough to remember may recall a few people thinking that they were black, but in later years, people really thought they were black rappers. Until they saw the video. Again, them being white was well known but the song was super popular so many people went years without seeing the music video and once they saw it were shocked that they were white. Irish to be specific.
There are other artists who were just assumed to be black… until people saw them perform the song or the music video.
It’s always fun when people stop and say: “WAIT.. THEY’RE WHITE!? ALL THIS TIME I THOUGHT THEY WERE BLACK!?”
Edit to Add: Don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it yet but the one rapping is known now as Everlast and he had two hit songs in the 2000s, “What It’s Like” and “Ends”. He also got into it with Eminem. Everlast talked crap about Haley and Eminem rapped about how Everlast had a heart attack.
If memory serves me, “Whitey Ford Sings the Blues” from the 2000s was made after Everlast had suffered a heart attack. He wrote “What It’s Like” in particular about the many things that happens to people over their “choices” in life.
Edit to Add 2: I forgot to mention that Everlast and Eminem has since made up. Everlast said he shouldn’t have said what he did about Haley and Eminem admitted that a heart attack is really messed up and the fact that Everlast survived was an accomplishment. Again, if memory serves it was a massive heart attack but I could be completely wrong.
Thank you for doing these mashup videos - I enjoy them immensely! 🥰
I am a 60 yr old white guy in the UK and was around at the start of "RAP" still listen to it today. that must amaze these reviewers to!
Big fan of your work. Much respect and success 🙌
Thank you for the videos I love seeing your videos on my screen when I turn on TH-cam ❤ keep em coming
This song is such a guilty pleasure of mine
Using Leo's cover over the ending?!? *chef's kiss*
Thank you for the confirmation. As soon as I heard his voice I thought, that's got to be Leo and I was 99.9% sure but I hadn't seen this on his channel. So yeah, glad you posted your comment.
This song might be the greatest one hit wonder ever. The jam is UNDENIABLE!!!
Also, Lex with the pink hair? ❤
IKR! 🥰
Idk if I would say one hit wonder. they also put out On Point, Same As It Ever Was, Who’s The Man, Shamrocks & Shenanigans, Put On Ypur Shit Kickers…maybe not quite to the level of Jump Around, but still all great songs!
I remember Brad & Lex's reaction when they first did it. Lex is such a sweetheart and her unbridled enthusiasm for this song was so endearing! With Brad looking like...whoa, girl. But no stopping her! Great compilation, btw. Done right. Helps me and others I'm sure to find new reaction channels that we might not have otherwise come across though I am familiar with almost every one in this video :) EDIT: but I didn't know THIS channel - subscribed!
I'm with Lex, you got jump to this even if your sitting down! Ty to everyone for this awesome reaction!
sill remember having to laugh to seeing a bouncing Flex Lex
@@GeePeeSterRace she's a hoot, I love her!
Nicely done, as always, WonderMomma!!
Momma I love the way you educate..once again bravo to the work you put in...much respect and keep em coming. 💯
This was fantastic, thank you!❤
Mr.Vid and Lex were VIBIN AND JUMPIN!😄😀😁😂
Great react mashup vid. I’m convinced that music is a bridge to understanding and love and all that stuff that we need more of in this world. I’m always uplifted when I see people of a different upbringing and culture appreciate what each other brings to our collected humanity. That and this will forever be a kick-ass song.
cant tell you how long ive been waiting for this one!!!!!!! awesome
I love how you put these together.
Lead singer from everlast 🤘🏼

First song I heard from them surprisingly wasnt this one. It was I'm a Swing It cause it was in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 soundtrack. Played that game a lot
This is so cool! Bringing back memories. Making my heart happy ❤
Back in the day when this song was huge, walked into a bar and the DJ had it blasting I swear the whole place was vibrating from everybody jumping it was crazy but you couldn't help joining in the vibe was that awesome..Great memories good times
Another super great compilation - with a bunch of my favorire reactors, too! Thanks.

Thank you. This was awesome
I was 16 when this one hit the scene! Between House of Pain and Cyprus Hill it was a party!
I recall entering medical school when this was released in 1992. So much fun and entertaining.

This track is a definite uniter of people!
Jump around drop 30 years ago when i was 18 years old. I had one of House of Pain shirt with the huge logo😂
Another seamless piece of work, another tip of the cap young lady, outstanding...as expected from you.
This song has made appearances in a few movies. I'm sure that's where a lot of folks heard it. Iconic song. Good stuff as usual.
Really enjoy watching your content 🫶🫶
This is a staple at a Wisconsin Badgers Game .always featured as one of the best times at a college football game by fans and sports programs.
The all important musical piece between the opening and main part of the song is from "Harlem Shuffle". Gene Page created that piece of music, and never made one dime from it. Arrangers seldom got any writing credit, and that small slice of music has been sampled all over the place.
Man, this brings back so many drunken memories hahaha,. Another banger Momma
I remember acting a fool to this tune LOL great editing.
That was another great video. Hahaha
Awesome video I know that took a lot of time props
Great choice, love this tune.
6:54 I can feel that. This specific track does indeed sound very much like same era Cypress Hill. Never thought of that before.
