The Jeep comes ready for on and off road that's what it's been built for since the beginning!!! You went way over kill with sponsors money, as usual!! 6900.00 dollars for the FabTech kit, really guys! Like we have that laying around...

Hi guys, I have a YJ, my son has a TJ, I did a spring over, he did the fabtech 8" kit. Both work well. The YJ really rides nice, the TJ's ride in my opinion is on the firm side, but still rides really nice. In the TJs case it's now equipped with long arms, so that was a big improvement They both off road/flex great. The spring over is a lot of work and not as cheap as it's assumed, I'm happy with mine, but it was a fraction of the price of the fabtech. The fabtech stuff is very high quality, everything is spot on!

All of that work.....to make it work like an xj with a 500 dollar lift.

Meanwhile I'm excited about the leveling struts for my Silverado that should be here in a few days so I can run 33s.

Would it be possible to leave the video in the old aspect ratio instead on stretching it to widescreen? The distorted video is very unappealing to watch.

You also want rubber bushings instead of urethane to isolate noise and impact absorption.
    Great build either way! :)

I say those leaf springs are not out of date. I have that Jeep.
I would put 4 link suspension in back and extend wheel base so transfer case extension and new drive shaft required. Coil springs in back would ride better with soft spring rates. Needs a rear locker.
I say use minimum lift for stability; you only need 33" tires and to be conservative and very capable.
Longer wheelbase makes it more stable on and off road.
Jeep 6 cylinder is adequate for power; needs Weber or generic equivalent or 4 barrel carb for power.
Maybe you could do a conservative build video with my ideas?
