I made a short 3 panel colored Manga about Lapu-Lapu and it took be 20hours,STRAIGHT...
No way it takes just 20-30 hours, that's insane,it probably takes more than 40 hours for even the fastest person because you'd have to come up with the script, edit it, draw, lineart, colour, oh god can't even imagine.
@@bloop4527 You can have multiple people working on one comic. But if it's one person, you can create a fast workflow(3D models, a compilation of frequently used textures and brushes etc) and depending on what type of comic you're doing, you can crank them out pretty fast.
I read webtoon pages really quick. And re-read it to appreciate the art. It took alot of time to color that wiw
same i feel like just reading fast neglects the artist's hardwork in drawing and coloring so i always reread just to stare at the art

@Naruto's Paused Face I understand what you are saying but whenever I work on something for hours and people don’t understand how long it took, I simply don’t care, because don’t most creators do this for fun, or so they can share ideas and work, when I work on something I just want people to enjoy it that’s the whole point even the people who know how long it took me, they usually say the same thing, “I love it,” or, “it’s cool,” it’s better than a, “it’s trash you should quit and do something else with your life,” I don’t have patience but I do when working on things because I’m doing it for fun not because I’m forced to and I like it if people don’t understand how long it took but still enjoy it

The girl you saw in this video is name Paris. But shes is not the main character. The main character is Jessy and Sean. The story is about Jessy's mental health. Totally recommend

this is my dream, it's either to become a cartoonist, illustrator or become a webtoon creator. People like them don't feel tired because they love what they're doing, it's just take a lot of time but the process of creating the masterpiece made you feel proud at some reason because you share your talent to those people who admire your works.
Shairra Tinio Please, please don’t assume that these people don’t get tired. Especially if it’s you’re dream as well. It IS tiring but it is also rewarding. If you pursue this path or art as a whole you WILL get tired. But in knowing that you can know how to deal with it when it happens, as well as understand that it’s normal and it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Nothing worth doing is ever done without hard work and effort. Just remember if this is your passion don’t give up even if you feel tired.
Im working on my webtoon. I love drawing and art, but believe me, it is tiring. So tiring, no matter how much in passion we are.
It’s great that you’re interested in a Webtoon career path, but please be aware that it’s actually _incredibly_ tiring to create comics on a daily basis. It’s fun and rewarding once you complete an episode, but the workload can be very overwhelming. Most professional manwha artists have to create 60-80 panel episodes on a weekly basis, and 1 panel takes at least an hour to draw. That means you’ll have to work 60-80 hours a week _at least_ . And usually the starting pay is only $2,000 a month, which isn’t great (although super popular webtoons can get really good money after a period of time.) Its actually a common occurrence for professional manwha artists to suffer from carpal tunnel or other health issues because they spend way too long drawing.
It can be a very rewarding and glamorous job, but you should be aware of the negative aspects as well.
If you do become a webtoon creator pls tell me what you are going to call it because I will gladly read it!😋😊 And I hope you are very successful if you do become one! ❤️

I found this unique coloring each parts for each layer for a whole lengthy page. Others do it panel by panel.
Seems like she got the way to make them faster and easier
same I was surprised as well, and it was actually quite helpful
Panel by panel can be more nicer looking with less layers and all its just that the flow of the webcomic wouldn't look as good

@@ovidiosaucedo7581 Dibujar nunca es fácil, son demasiadas cosas inclusive solo para hacer un rostro, imaginen un cuerpo completo, y se hace aún más difícil cuando hay que dibujar muchas cosas consecutivamente (como fondos, personajes, rasgos, etc) y más encima crear el guión y planear la historia.
Yo planeo convertirme en una autora de webcómics una vez que haya pulido mi dibujo y esté satisfecha; estoy muy consciente de todo el trabajo que conlleva crear un "cómic digital" (esto en termino general) y aún con eso quiero ilustrar mi propia historia. Bueno el punto es que, todos deberían saber el trabajo que es ser autor de un webcómic y por eso mismo admirar no solo la historia, también el arte detalladamente :)

They work extremely hard for those drawing tools.
Everyone starts with a paper and pencil at first, and honestly I think its much better to go with more traditional mediums and methods until you find your own art style and are consistent with it. As someone who owns a Wacom tablet intuos, I can assure you that although it's a very convenient tool (and has a lot more options compared to traditional mediums) I haven't really used it as much simply because I'm in the process of trying to improve my own art.
If you're already at a point where you are comfortable with your own art, then take the chance to earn some cash and buy a tablet yourself. These people aren't rich. They had a starting point similar (if not the exact same) to yours.

you don't have to be rich wtf im not even near rich and I have an iPad and an apple pencil. also, there are also drawing programs for phone and pc so if you can write the comment in a device you can also paint in there

Tip: the basic in shadows is knowing the direction of your light source.

That's really interesting since I love doing shadows, it's on of the most fun parts for me idk
I think with shadows, it helps if you have an understanding of the form you're shading also the contrast between hard and soft shadows make shadows look so good!
