I love how he only carries an air about him of being an ordinary human being, yet he's so comfortable doing what he does together with other musicians without any sense of being intimidated nor feeling superior to the rest. I obviously don't know Jacob for who he is but that's just what I sense from what he's putting off. Truly an inspirational character.

My God! I remain absolutely in awe of the seemingly endless expression of profound and transcendent talent by Jacob Collier.
Let's start out with playing guitar and piano at the same time, and then sing with remarkable agility, range and perfectly in tune (in microtones at 2:16) to a harmonically and rhythmically advanced orchestral arrangement of a beautiful piece he composed that builds to a thoroughly satisfying musical conclusion at 7:10 . . . and do it live, in one take with disarming humility, at only age 22.
For some, it might take multiple listenings before it fully grows on you.

The orchestra fits so incredibly well... the chorus makes me emotional, and the vibration of the whole orchestra amplifies this feeling

The instrumentation in this arrangement is so great! I loved the flute around 3:30. I also like how Jacob adjusted his vocals to suit live soloing without the 'wall of sound' a capella production.

Yes it's terrific. It's a wonderful orchestra, a choir of players. It's wonderfully inspiring to you and me. We can walk about with our minds healing, and not poisoning, the world, ourselves, each other. Talent in all these players transcends.

Throughout my 7 years on TH-cam there were only a few videos that managed to move me emotionally to the point where I felt obligated to leave a comment on them. Jacob you're an amazing human being and musician. It seems that you're taking the world of music on an thrilling journey, and it's really astounding that this is only the beginning!

This man is a Legend, such a talent!
He's 3 years younger than me and I grew up with musical instruments around me and will never be as good as he is.
I'm not necessarily talking about this concert, but all his songs and jams are just amazingly funky and good.
He's kinda inspiring me to go to music lessons again, especially for funk and jazz.
