Hard to believe this was 30 years ago. The energy still permeates the video. There are a couple of other songs from this concert that are worthy of watching. "Sad But True", "Creeping Death" and "Harvester Of Sorrow". The energy is still mindblowing to this day. Great vid!!
Legend has it that the crowd all jumping together was felt 2 towns away. The helicopters were for security and to circulate the air so people wouldn't pass out. Btw.. I really like your still shot w/caption moments.
Judging by the uniformed military there, that HAD to be the Moscow Music Peace Festival. I remember watching that on PPV. I saw Metallica with Guns N Roses(first show, so it was a good one) back in 1992. Great show! Saw them again July 4, 2000.... with Kid Rock and Korn..... they stunk the joint up. It was just a bad gig.
Good Lord Lars and Kirk’s pants were so tight I could see all their future kids. I’m not even gonna say anything about them being a couple Back in the day. But it was adorable.

This concert was one for the ages 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻 There are a couple of good Pantera songs from the same concert that are worth watching as well. Pantera were supporting Metallica.
