@olivia law i would go with the stiff 550lbs and the rear wheels are 10 inch not sure about the bs but i would think 5
That front clip from the monte carlo looks SO bad ass on the elco. Weird not many people haved done this kind of swap.
I’m planning on doing it. Do you think I’d have to do any crazy body work to get it on there? Or would it bolt right up?
@brentgrider2980 it will bolt on u have to have monte front clip, hood, doors, fenders, and if i remember right core support
Sweet El Camino you have. I have an 86 El Camino and love Watching this bad boy
I have an 86 too
@@CraftingDivision coilovers on the way to go if you haven't done it already. Viking makes very good coilovers.
Nice El Camino! Love those spider intakes of the EFI's on those engines.
Yeah they’re freaking rad!
Nice tuned port bro 👍🏽😎👍🏽
"How many miles to gallon does it make?"
Camino: *"No"*
Haha that’s how it is lol
Smiles per gallon is what’s really important 😎
@yourdaddy5630 good answer😂
God video
Niels Tak :)
I hope this comment isn’t too late for a reply, woukd the Monte Carlo front clip bolt right up with not much body work to a el Camino?
not to sure not my car
Just the nose will not bolt up to your El camino. You will need the Monte hood, fenders, and doors to make the body lines line up.
Are those monte carlo quarter panels and doors on there?
love it , where do I get the front face ? these days ?
No idea man online somewhere probally
Ecklers or original parts group
Would you recommend this kit for drag racing?
would work great for that purpose!
@@Viktorrhansen Thank you! much appreciated!
I have a stock 1984 el Camino with a 5.0 should I get the 550 front springs and 220 rear springs ? Plus it’s for street
I would go with the 550 cause i Like the more stiff ride maybe go with the softer 450
Hansen Racing thanks
did you use the front upper rubber isolator or no?
Sweet ride 👌🏽thanks for the video
Glad you liked it!
What size tires do you have in the back ?
I Think these where 295
Hansen Racing ok thanks
Will a 79 el camino hood fit on 79 monte carlo?
no idea
Dang! I own an 83 el camino and it has 235/60r15 in the front and 255/60r15 in the rear and it hits when it turns up front xD Any problems when turning or when going over bumps? What mufflers and headers you have? xD
Randall Montejano if I remember correct then this car got 215 but no doesn’t hit any where, and it’s a self made exhaust not sure what mufflers it’s a small block TPI
It sounds amazing and it looks great! This video made me wanting to install coilovers on mine bit no money xD
Randall, I've got the same setup as you on my 78. I had to cut the lower inner lip of the fender at a 45 degree angle for the fronts to clear at full lock.
Do you have coilovers? I have stock suspension btw. Gabriel load carriers and constant rate springs; went with this setup to haul stuff around and eventually plan on switching to coilovers.
Do you know the wheel size and figment?
Does it come with the torque specs?
Everything u need!
Looks bouncy
What’s the settings you guys found comfortable?
I Think for street 6 clicked rear and 4 in the front
How wide is that rear wheel
a 10 inch
What kit is this and how much?
gbody kit front and rear from Aldan checkout their website aldanamerican.com/
@@Viktorrhansen thanks!
@Hansen racing which should I pick for my coil over kit the 350, 450, 550, 650? I believe the numbers represent lbs/street car/drag race/sbc/bbc I'm speaking gbody....
Well what car do you have and what weight and what purpose
@@Viktorrhansen I have a 82 big block elco. Im going to run it on the street here and there and want it to hook. What spring rate should I be looking at for the front and for the back?
What suspension set up and rims?
u see the suspension in the video
How much did this cost you?
its 1.290 dollars for the whole kit :D
@@Viktorrhansen did it come with the thrust bearings?
@@BuiltByKane yes everything u need!
