Tried this last weekend for two of the cars, it worked incredible. It was very easy and highly recommend it. Amazing product.
I've never seen that chemical before, looks neat but takes a long time. I've always just buffed them out after sanding, if you have a buffer it only takes maybe a minute to do 2 passes with the buffer. Sand 400 to 2000 and buff it. Only thing is to apply a UV protectant.
Hello, How its now? After this chemical what you used its not mandatory to cover head Light some protection?
Wish you could explain what you are doing
How much solution consume in this process?
the vapor is a non uv protection is just clears the top coat of the light use a ceramic coating or a 2k clear coat can 👍
That's not true, it does have uv in the resin and no need 2k clear. Mine still looks like new after 3 years.
Hello, there are scratches on the headlight, what am I doing wrong??
What it the liquid?
Name of heating liquid?
Is it more long lasting than clear coat?
I like this better than clear coat. You can always sand and vapor it again and again. It is so easy to do. I used the drill with sanding attachments.
Hi
Please let me know is it 100ML enough for two Headlight?
Thanks
I have 180, 280, 360, 600, 800, and 1200 grit paper....comes with the kit
What grit should I use and how many passes should I make?
Can you count?
...the video show 600 and 3000 grit sandpaper being used.
How long will this last?
The label on the bottle says 3-5 years.
The liquid need to be put into the machine or just simply wipe the liquid on the headlamp?
Wetor 2310 liquid polymer headlight restoration
it is chloroform I suppose.
You have to heat the liquid and vapor it. Wipe it on lens would leave streak marks. I got the entire system on Amazon for 25 bucks. Same as you would at local store but I like this better.
That spray stuff seems like it fills in the scratches so why go through so many sandpaper phases?
Because headlight turns yellow and dirty and there will be minor scratches here and there which you can't see . By using sandpaper you are removing a top layer of the dirt and after removing top layer using polish fills the gap and gives shine
You need to remove the old uv coating thats why
What is the name of the final product your using in this video. Works marvelously. B

An atomized cup
Is it pure acetone?
it is chloroform I suppose.
No it's synthetic rasin and toulene
It 's like the same one that already known in Korea.
한국판 좌표좀...,🙏🇰🇷🔥💯
How long it lasts?
if you don't apply any kind of uv protection it wont't last long.
What happen not use grit 3000, cause hard to get grit 3000
U can also use 2500 grit
2000 grit is enough
Name of the last liquid ???
100% pure acetone
Only works on headlights because they are made of poly carbonate
Back brake lights are acrylic those you have to buff out
You can also use clear coat. After the sanding step. Still got same effect
@@anguslean4058 its not. It is synthetic rasin and toulene
@@wannn.z clear coat is reflecting inside the lens and less lights go thru
@@harnis3650 and yet I use 100% Acetone and it works just fine.
You just wiped the thin invisible layer that comes on the light from the manufacture, i'd give it no more than 6 months then the whole headlight will turn yellowish
This method does work , the liquid goes in a cup which you heat up by 12v but don’t know how long the repair lasts
Last thing you use.. what is it?
liquid polymer
I recommend the Sylvania restoration kit
Does it also clean the yellowish fram the inside of the lens?
Nothing cleans that, except opening them up and cleaning them
hi, after sanding mine headlamp it is still yellowish, if apply this product can make it clear agian??
Keep sanding till you get a uniform haze after then yes you can the product
@@lordhelmet916 is it just heat coming out?
if your headlight just yellowish apply with 100, 120, 150, 180, 240, 360, 400, 500, 600, 1200, 1500, 2000, 3000 grit sandpaper till the plastic looks more "white" and smooth, after that you can use rubbing compound or something else for more bright and shine like brand new headlight. but, if your headlight appears thousand crack then the lamp is on you must be scrapping with sharp cutter or blade because the sandpaper can't touch the layer of thousand cracks
Try reducing the sand paper grit by using below 1000 for removing yellow layer.
Permanently?
Name of the last chemical? It was in chinese..
I think horse piss😂
acetone
Liquid chloroform
@@kostiVEVO would u mind giving us any LINK for acetone.. Thank you

It’s not “Permanently” even the manufacturing company of the product says it’s good 1 to 2 years 😂
Depends what you coat it with
They have a wipe on UV activated coating that will last years and years better then OEM
I done mine like that 3 years ago , still the same like new

If you want permanent restoration you will have to sand and reapply clear coat!
Clear coat isn't permanent. But it is the longest lasting repair.
@@1221Ralph No. No clear coat. Polishing compound achieves a better finish and the acrylic lens itself outlasts any "coat" applied on top of it.
@@GatorWinup False. Clear coating is the longest lasting followed by ceramic coating. Polishing then waxing/sealing only last a few months.
@@1221Ralph You didn't even bother to explain your "clear coating" -- probably because you do not know the varieties out there. Keep stating a conclusion without facts. You know you don't know.
@@GatorWinup You don't make sense.
Chloroforms'?
More like boraform 😂, Billy Madison
worst way of doing it.
lol you wont fix any cracking in clearcoat this way. For removing oxidation all you need is 1 step polish and cordless drill lmfao.
Way too much work.. just use deet

It won't last even a year
Applied this two years ago, and it still looks as new.
Using a sanding block? On a curved light!! No running comenty!!? And what's in the silver can with Chinese writing? AND LASTLY NO APPLY'ED CLEAR COAT!!!?
Why so many people are obsessed with the idea that a clear coat (name your substance please) would be more durable than the polycarbonate or acrylic materials that form the lens? Why do you add a layer of weaker, softer material that will peel off due to the heat cycles caused by the sun and the heat of the headlights? How do you control the thickness of the clear coat? How do you control the evenness of the clear coat? When you talk about applying clear coating, you have no idea what you are talking about. In your simple mind, a thin even layer would make it clear and give good protection. In reality, it yellows and peels off in time. Please.
