I leased one in 2019 and loved it. I had it until lease ran out in 2022. Out of three (Outback's previously) the Ascent leased this was probably my favorite. So roomy with three rows. I'm single, but whatever.... The engine was peppy enough for me. Gas mileage not bad at all. A lot of cupholder's in you're into that. I even complained to Subaru about the cupholder not being great for my Starbuck's venti drink and Subaru sent me a better cup holder that fit inside of the original to keep my drink secure. Plus an umbrella, key chain, and other little gifts. Very nice customer service. My lease is up on my current Outback December and I may go back to this model. Great review as always.
The Subaru Ascent Onyx is crazy good family suv for the money. As a Subaru owner on #9, just change the oil every 5k mi, change your CVT fluid every 40k mi, change front & rear diff oil every 50k and they last a long time, trouble free!
I like my dodge journey. I wish they were still made and less plastic parts in the engine. I got the base level with 2 rows instead of 3 because you get more storage underneath with the seats not there. Lots of good storage and paid new $18k. Won't get a deal like that again. 7 years old 107k miles. Could i afford more of a vehicle yes but its less stress and get to enjoy life without paying double the price. I will be saving cash for next vehicle to avoid bank fees.
@@chrisb9478 I treat it like a baby. I will get 300k miles out of it with these prices. I have had to replace some parts but with these prices it's cheaper.

You are lucky, most Dodge Journeys grenade before 100k mi. 😂
