One thing people must know before playing super robot wars og on the playstation: The game is completely japanese, so you need to find a english patch if you want to play and enjoy the story of the game!
I'm currently playing it now and it's a blast. The difficulty is just right for me. Coming from Fire Emblem games which are kind of easy, Berwick Saga keeps me on my toes.
I beat Makai Kingdom recently and it was, well, very original (but all over the place) with its story but the gameplay was a lot of fun. Not sure if I would recommend it though. It seemed like some company made a game out of all the unused sprites and pictures they had collected over the years. ^^ Im going to look into TearRing Saga Berwick Saga. It looks very good. I did play some other titles of the series before and they were great. Not sure if I will go for the Japanese or English version. If there's a lot of text it can get exhausting.
I didn't want to be that guy but how could you not have Disgaea2 on the list that is easily my favorite SRPG on the PS2, otherwise the list is very good and made me quite nostalgic.
