These beat 'em ups belong on the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis; the NES and Game Boy are too limitized to handle any of their graphics, hardware and mechanics to the point where players have to fight only two enemies on the screen at a time.

Tekken 5 was nowhere near as good as Tekken Tag 1, not even close.

I beat Makai Kingdom recently and it was, well, very original (but all over the place) with its story but the gameplay was a lot of fun. Not sure if I would recommend it though. It seemed like some company made a game out of all the unused sprites and pictures they had collected over the years. ^^ Im going to look into TearRing Saga Berwick Saga. It looks very good. I did play some other titles of the series before and they were great. Not sure if I will go for the Japanese or English version. If there's a lot of text it can get exhausting.

Im currently playing through Tenka. I remember playing the demo but here in the UK it was called Lifeforce: Tenka. The controls leave alot to be desired but i really like it and its quite an achievement when you factor in its age and limitations of its time. The music is great too.

Rival schools, Tekken 3 and street fighter ex run at 60 with 2d background and low res. Soul blade runs at 30 with 3d background and low res. Bloody roar 2 runs at 60 with high res and 3d background.

Is there no better camera angle for Virtua Striker 2? You can have the most fun gameplay but if you’ve got a useless camera like that, it makes the game unplayable. Never understood why so many football games zoomed right in on the players. The wider camera is clearly the right way to make a football game.
