He nailed it! Us vets are the original "passport bros". Before Clark and Subic were closed there used to be around 50,000 Fil-Am marriages a year. Not all from the military, but huge contributors.

Honestly, the term “Passport Bro” was a derogatory invented by the women in the west that are upset that men no longer want to “pick them”. They have overvalued what they have to offer, and the “market” has spoken. The truth is that you would now be considered a “Passport Bro”. But the truth is you found a valuable mate that you would not be able to obtain without considerable risk in the western world. GOD bless you two, and keep up the good work.

I'm glad you took my comment on the other video to heart. I'm not a sexpat. But I'm a "passport bro" because I found the love of my life, to whom I have been engaged since June, by using my passport and traveling to the Philippines. I returned to the U.S. two days ago after spending 3 weeks with her and her family on my 2nd visit to the Philippines. We are waiting on her fiance visa. :)

I am certainly not a sexpat and definitely not a "passport bro"
When I met jessa I wasn't even looking. I was busy being a single father, raising my sin on full custody after a messy break up.
We were friends for a few years. My elderly uncle lived in makati and I would visit him for a couple of weeks annually.
She was living and working in mandeleuyong just across the bridge.
We would hang out when I was there.
Then as time went on we both realised that we were actually missing each other when I came back home.
It was actually a naturally developing relationship.
Would I be without her now? Hell no. She's my queen.

The economy went global and so did dating.
The age gap issue is something we westerners find hard to accept due to what we've experienced at home. As was said, it's very common there and acceptable much to a man's surprise and delight.

I’m a great guy who’s Made very good decisions. I’ve helped all my family through my life. When they came at me with judgement, I blocked and deleted them. They don’t know me and at my age I don’t waste time with people who don’t see me or appreciate me. US women are broken to the extent they can’t simply want the best for everyone. I haven’t dated in the US since my adorable partner passed 2.5 years ago. I don’t tolerate abuse, undermining, diminishing, manipulating. I’m clear. Instead I’ll find my sweetheart without taking on any one else’s Straight jacket. Great video

Hi Rob and Chrissy 😊 this is another good vid
The age gap difference is something I’ve dealt with for a long time here in Aust as I seem to attract younger women 🤷🏻‍♂️
The compatibility between the 2 people is the important issue.
The personality changes that seem to happen as a woman reaches her early 30s creates this gap.
Rob you’re a lucky man as Chrissy is an amazing woman 👏

@seashells-and-seashores no I mean the changes that seem to affect these age gap relationships is when a woman ages into her 30s and compatibility becomes less but remember this is only from my personal experience and with western women 🤷🏻‍♂️

25 years ago my work sent me to China. While there I married a local girl and we eventually moved back to the US. Many people questioned my decision, they thought she was using me, thought couldn't I get an American woman. There were many comments to our face and behind our back. Over the years many of my male friends who have gone through tough divorces started looking for women over seas. 21 years later we are still married and sadly so many of our American friends are divorced. Men are looking for love and respect thats it.

I am 54 my Filipina is 23 I never thought about the personality changing in the next 5 years. But now I think that is something important to consider. But as I met my ex-wife in her mid thirties and she is a completely different person now that she is in her 50s. I think many people change as they age and experience life. The trick is to change together and share similar values and above else communicate

Don't show this message to Chrissy...hehe.
Now that you have Chrissy and you both are sooooo happy and you can't believe the new life you have with her and you are happily consumed by her.... don't EVER use the words "beautiful Filipina", "gorgeous Filipina", etc, when referring to any other woman.
And... You are both doing a GREAT job not just throwing together a video like some others but actually "producing it".

I'm old enough to remember back in the 50's and 60's, women (American) would often proudly brag about their husbands being "good providers". It was an endearing term that you never hear anymore. I think most men today will do everything they can to provide for their wives and families. Very admirable. Especially in the Philippines.

I actually wasn't a sexpat or passport bro when went to the Philippines. I stopped wanting to date American woman at 15 years old then at 24 I found a Filipina. I was with my girlfriend there a lot did not have time to sleep around. Most passport bros are not sexpats they just get lumped into it. A real passport bro is someone who marry a girl in the country and live over in their country. I am lumped into the passport bro movement, but as I stated, I gave up on American women at 15 years old way before this movement was mainstream like it is now. Also had my passport at 15 years old.

I'm 41 and already retired. I'm moving overseas to explore the Philippines, Thailand and Japan before I decide where I want to end up. I am not moving particularly for love as I went through a really bad divorce with a Western woman before I gave up completely on women and haven't had any interest in dating in the last four years. I would be open to it if I met a sweet, nice, and wholesome woman with traditional values who is not western, but it's not my primary goal more a bonus if it happens. As far as age I prefer on the younger side 21-26 range for a lot of reasons such as she's more likely to have a very low body count and less jaded from failed relationships to start with. You two look like a cute couple and I wish you the best and thank you for making these very informative videos.

From what I have seen most men who retire in the Philippines want to live where their income will go a lot further than in their own country; most social security checks are not enough to live on by yourself. Jt is difficult for wealthy men to find love in their homeland, but for a poor man, it would take a miracle from God! Almost every man I have seen on youtube has the dream ...to love one woman and to be loved.

I dated a Filipina for about 7 years when we met she was 20 I was 44 , and it was hard . Don't get me wrong she's was and is a great girl but the hardest thing was the maturity and life experience difference life experiences that she considered major crisis , were things I had already been through and to me were very minor because I had already been through it . The only things that teach these things is going. Through them . That was always our biggest bine of contention . I think for a guy my age (55) I would not date a filipina now younger than about 29

When people start opining about other people's lives, I always remember 2 old adages:
    1. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
    2. "Other people's business is other people's business."
Also, my mom would invite relatives and/or friends to join our holiday meals, like at Easter, Christmas, etc.
She had a few rules that she would enforce if those visitors violated her rules.
No one was allowed to talk about religions, politics and/or the government, or other people's business.
If anyone violated her rules, she would take their plates of food away from them and tell them to leave immediately.
She would explain her rules when they first arrived, and tell them she would enforce her rules without exception.
Fortunately, no one ever violated her rules, and everyone always had a good time and meal.

I have seen six of my friends having issues with their wife when some of them think they deserve a lavish lifestyle like in a magazine or on tv show. Only need some financial trouble for my friends to be verbally put down as "no good for nothing" because she does not want to feel inferior to her friends while shopping just like the magazines. A better term for what guys from the west want, rather than "obedience" with it's servility/servant association, is "agreeableness".
As to sugar-daddy/baby, this is just a dressing up of prostitution where the "baby", ie sex-worker, has just one repeat client (or small number of clients), at a time.

To be honest, I think the terminology used to define a "passport bro" is that they DON'T want to bring them back home. Like you, they want to find that love and stay in the country. I have found my love, but I have no choice but to bring her back as I cannot leave the US at this time.
My problem is trying to export her and the myriad of immigration BS that you have to go through and the cost that goes with it. So, I am not truly the meaning of passport bro, but I am working towards that.

Both younger and older men want sex--BUT many also want to find a life long partner or even someone to have children with. Ignore these belittling labels and live your life as you choose.

I can appreciate your attempt to correct your previous video, that included a definition of “passport bros”! To simplify the definition: they are western men that find modern western women less desirable as long-term companions or wives! They also find the cost of living and cultural values, particularly in Asian countries, much MORE appealing! Also, “passport bros” aren’t looking to return to their “countries of origin”!

Excellent video but I do think thete seems to be some differences in expats & immigrants in my humble opinion.. Immigrants are coming to a country to work for a better life while most expats are retired & done working. Most expats also seem to be much older than immigrants. Also many male expats leave the west to find female companionship while immigrants are not coming to the west for dating. If they are, we need to have a talk with them! 😂

Our issue is that my wife is a trans women …. She is not a “ladyboy” as you appear to characterize the trans women community. The term “ladyboy “ is often associated with trans women in the sex industry , something that my wife doesn’t want a bar of.

Rob, you are one of the more rational TH-camrs I've seen speak on the subject but I believe you also are not willing to admit the impact that money has on these expat relationships, I think it to be disingenuous to imply that Filipinas are dating elderly Filipinos at the same rate they are dating the more wealthy ex-pats. Compare Crissy's life before meeting you to her life now and this is what takes place in the majority of these relationships. (to downplay such a Socioeconomic impact I find sketchy) most western society couples marry across similar socioeconomic lines with the hope of a modest rise in scale, with both parties making similar contributions, males being slightly higher. This is the reason that money isn't deemed as having as much impact in these societies. Rarely will you see someone go from extreme poverty to rich class. (there are always exceptions) you cited the study yourself women are generally attracted to men in their mid-30s not 60s 70s and 80s, money being the leveraging factor for the older gentleman. The phenomenon primarily existing where there is extreme poverty and not in developed countries where women have opportunity.

A Sexpat is just running around banging anything that walks 😅 Now days guys aren't happy with their countries, ladies . So we jump on a plane or take a car to another country. Trying to find that special someone. Some ladies don't like their guys leaving their country. So those ladies make fun of them . Guys don't care if they make fun of them . Men are just looking for peace and a happy home. A guy will take a plane anywhere for peace.😜

I understand why you think the way you do about a 29 year old woman being a better bet than a 20 year old woman. The truth is all women change when they become comfortable, Chrissy will change as she gains the security of marriage and lives a wealthy lifestyle. I'm not saying she will change for the worse or that she has evil intentions, just that she will change. Since Ive already been down the road you're on and it didn't work ,I chose not to marry again so that when the woman changes I have the option to change my mind as well.
Btw the reason there are more ladyboys in Asia is because there is a financial incentive of Western men paying them. I don't believe that Asians are more gay than Western people.

I don't like the term "Passport Bros" in part because these guys sound like they just discovered something new - foreign women and foreign travel! These guys (who popularized the term) were typical stay-at-home ignorant Americans who finally decided to get off their butts and see the world. That's why they had to get passports - they didn't travel abroad before. So they come at this whole thing out of ignorance and naive wonder. Whereas you and I have travelled the world for years and have seen the wide diversity of girls and relationships, in all their complexity. Plus, these Passport Bros seem to have an unhealthy dose of Red Pill or Black Pill philosophy, which is a very negative place to come from. So I am happy to keep calling myself a Sexpat (although I am really just visiting, not living) or I like your term Explorers - someone who has another objective (exploring or, in my case, working on international projects) and just hunt for fun on the side. Maybe we should re-frame your term to "Sexplorers"?

True freedom lies in free choice from all available options. I applaud passport bros. Having limited options in their home environment, they are acting upon their lack of options by changing their location to one which is more conducive to the achievement of their dreams. Of course western women are mad. They had sought to control the market, essentially rigging the game against free choice. With other options, western men have increased the available supply, thereby decreasing the demand for local products, and so, lowering the value and costs. Capitalism leads to a stronger economy, so long as the supply is not artificially restricted. As such, it also does the same for love.
Western women have, essentially, priced themselves out of the market. Western men have increased, not only the market, but their own value, by traveling overseas to get value for their time and effort, by securing higher quality women for far less. By doing so, they affect the western market value, forcing a much needed correction of the relationship economy in the west, while reaping gains in their personal portfolio. For the western men, and for eastern women, it is a bull market in the east, and so, a smart investment for both. I love it.

The definition has some nuance but I don't think a smart passport bro is looking to bring the gem of a woman he finds back to the pit of vipers he left. You wouldn't want to risk her acclimating and her mind being poisoned by the harpies you left to escape. I think that's why you look at the Philippines and Thailand as opposed to Central and South America, whose women may want to relocate to the States. No, you'd want to relocate to where she is because it's better, flat out. The term is positive for men but VERY negative for women. Doesn't take much thought to figure out why ("What's wrong with you if your men are leaving in measurable numbers to find women elsewhere?").

If these women were "traditional" they wouldn't be marrying an old 🤍 Westerner.. And you can say these men font want to exploit these women but there is an undeniable power difference and dynamic created when an older man not only DATES a much younger woman, let alone to bring her to country where their is a launguage barrier, culture shock and the stigma of being a "mail order bride".. Men never have to deal with half the pressure of the stigma of dating/marrying and older man, but also the pressure of your safety/physical well being, and housing all being dependent on a man who has a completely different culture than you.. as a woman who started dating a 36 yo 🤍 man at 19, and now just turned 36 last week (we are both Americans), i speak from experience.. but carry on..
