      What a bad advice to go to Pattaya it’s bunch of prostitutes and Thailand in general if you wanna pay go spend money on the girls and pay for them as a dumbass , if you are a real deal go to the Philippines more nice prettier women who won’t ask for money ,if you handsome enough,but I guess I am saying this because I am In my 30 ties ,so if this advice is for old men Yes sure go to Thailand,girls will take your money with pleasure.

    This guy might have the most accurate and useful advice of any of the TH-camrs.
    I’m married to a Filipina for 30 years in the states. His warning about the ability for an Asian woman to overwhelm a western guy is almost a guarantee. I know because it happened to me. I got a grip on myself and did go through due diligence in courtship and engagement. I was lucky because she did check all the boxes and now, we’ve been married for 30 years.
    Do keep a grip on yourself. If the boxes are all checked stay with her and give it time. Just follow the old time courtship process. It still works, even if you have gone nuts for a woman.

    I just completed my 3rd 30 day trip to the Philippines in 1 1/2 years. I tried to get hotels that included breakfast. I always bought a latte each day. Had lunch and dinner at the mall or beach restaurant. I used grab for transport except Bohol where grab was not an option. My airfare from Spokane WA was $1375. Island hopping by ferry $12. Airlines island hop $100. Excursions were an average of $5 each, 10 for a couple. I booked only the first 4 days in Cebu then booked the next location 1-2 days before arriving and I did not have destinations pre planned just a list of places I might want to go

    Great work! As a case study.... I spent $5k for 3 weeks. But my flight from the East Coast of the US was twice that. And i had flights to and from Mindanao. Bus rides, ferries. Couple extra excursions and really amazing experiences like parasailing zip lining white water rafting. I was never without my girlfriend and often with her daughter and sister too. Did a mix of staying with her family and airbnbs and hotels.

    An actual example here, 40 days 12/14/23, my first Ph visit, total spent on the ground $2400 US. Different circumstances, I met my LDR and we traveled. She is super budget friendly. Average accommodation was $25, always private, a/c, hot shower, usually kitchen so very little eating out. We traveled by bus and ferry and that included round trip Manila - CDO in a stateroom. Did very little excursions or pay activities but did rent a motorbike for 12 days.
    My point here is the A budget should allow a pretty comfortable if no frills stay.

    My initial plan was to travel all over Southeast Asia solo.
    I have about 22 months before I’m ready to travel. Retirement coming soon. About 400 days away to turn in the paperwork. Should be officially done by August 25. I think I’m swaying towards finding a long-term condo and staying for a few years and drift away from the condo to different destinations all over Southeast Asia to cut down on the initial cost of traveling constantly for a year I think would probably wear me out. I think having a bass camp will be the best way to do it and also if I meet someone I’m going to want to go back to a lot of the places that I’ve visited already. It would be more exciting to do it with someone than solo. I think my whole plan is morphing into having a base camp for sure. Subject to change in the next 20 months. Lol

    • @FlyMeToThePhilippines
      @FlyMeToThePhilippines  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mike, thanks for watching and taking the time to share. I’m not a fan of the Basecamp expenditure, traveling and being a minimalist for the first year or two I think is the way to go and a long-term lease here in the Philippines can be a very, very sketchy proposition.

  • @davidhaylett1810
    @davidhaylett1810 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Hey one question, how many girls should I meet on this 30 day trip ? Only one , one per week, or three per week? And should I move a girl into my Condo ? If I meet more than one, I assume that I cannot tell them I’m doing this or they won’t participate right ? They all think they are the one I assume! If I want to meet multiple girls, what’s the best strategy? Move around and have different Condos ? One in Cebu , one in Davao, one in LAPU LAPU ? Or can I just meet multiple girls in Cebu City ?

    • @FlyMeToThePhilippines
      @FlyMeToThePhilippines  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching David and sharing your comment. Yes multiple cities for multiple girls is the best strategy although just going on first or second dates you can easily just stay in the same city but if you’re gonna become intimate, you might want to consider doing multiple cities

    • @davidhaylett1810
      @davidhaylett1810 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FlyMeToThePhilippines Ok thanks, that makes sense. I guess if I don’t think the first girl is great I can ditch her anyway. No point going on a second date as she will just be a nuisance and stop me meeting other girls. So better to get rid of them fast if I don’t like them . Coffee date is good for that I’ve heard so I don’t have to waste time with a girl I’m not interested in. So probably better to have girls ready to meet but not have a schedule of dates in advance. That way it’s more flexible and you don’t need to cancel. But better to still meet more girls for a first date to get a comparison and have a second date if good, and sex at that point. But as they are all busy they probably can’t control you that easily. Just get rid at any point if you don’t think they are long term. Ditch on a second or even third date. Stay in a Condo so you have security and they can’t just bang on your door lol.
      For sex with different girls different cities sounds good unless you already know where you want to live. So sex in Davao if looking for a long term girl makes no sense if you want to live in Cebu . Fine if it’s just sex though I guess but as you say Thailand is better for that lol.
      Love the channel, lots of info and no BS, keep it up.

      Chi, I use Google flights and link directly to the airline to do the booking. I have seen nonstop flights as cheap as 900 recently and I have seen some of the Chinese airlines offering flights as low as 700 occasionally with long layovers sometimes that can work, you can get a night sleep in an airport hotel, that’s from the West Coast of the United States. Typically you’re gonna pay about $1400 to come from the East Coast.

    Good video thank you Rob. Two things I would like to mention. 1. Do not make any big decisions for the first year you are in the Philippines. 2. Expect your Filipina to change her mind about you without warning. They will take the best option available and if a younger, richer guy comes along she will jump ship without giving it a second thought. They are women and very fickle. It’s getting much harder to find a good girl because they’ve all got a mobile phone in their pocket, so they can see everything that western women can see and it’s having a terrific impression on them because they’ve now got this big window to the world that they never had before. Finally, just remember that you will never run out of Filipinas. For every Filipina that you meet and think she is the best thing since sliced bread, there is another 25 around the corner that are even better. Thanks 😊

You only need 2 weeks for such a trip, which is all most N. Americans get for vacation, anyway. A 30 day trip is better suited to finding a place you may want to retire to. Cebu City is great for dating, but traffic is too infuriating to actually live there.

    Good afternoon, I have been living in Asia for 25+ years including, Tokyo, Singapore, Manila, and Seoul (current). In my opinion, speaking English is HUGE red flag. The warning lights should be flashing everywhere. Again, this is from my experience and my opinion and not just with Filipinas. Why? Asia has been in a rush to learn English and women are eager to learn as fast as possible. In many cases finding an English-speaking boyfriend is one of the fastest ways to learn English. This is to include Filipinas. Understand that the better Asian women speak English, the better job opportunities open up. My point is, be aware of how she learned, practices, and uses her English skills. One of the most embarrassing moments in your travels could be when you walk into a place with your new girlfriend and half of the patrons have already dated her. Just be advised. Good Luck !!
