    Antonio Brown has been like this since WELL before that Burfict hit. He was like this in college. That is why he fell to the sixth round. He was like this in Pittsburgh, well before he got paid. They just covered it up. Clark and Polamalu have both basically said this is who he is. He worsened after he got paid by Pittsburgh. All of that was well before the Burfict hit.

      Exactly and he some problems in high school. He never talks about his dad who played in the CFL. His dad tried to discipline him and his mom didn't let it happen.

    Not every dude that blows up does it because of some "trauma" that they have to deal with. Some people just get arrogant and start to believe they're more important than everyone else. I'm afraid this is probably Brown.

    Everyone keeps saying to get him help. I think people have been trying to help him for years. He doesn't want help and doesn't seem to believe he needs help. Until he can see that there is a problem nobody is going to be able to help him.

If he does, maybe he’ll get the help he needs. If he doesn’t, I fear what will happen to him. Nobody can make him do it, he needs to take that last step.

    IMO, AB either suffers from CTE or other mental health issues.
    The problem is not getting him the help, it's him willing to get the help.
    Just as drug and alcohol addicts refusing to admit that they have a problem.
    As the saying goes "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink"

      It's not like alcohol addiction at all. We don't know enough about it, but we DO know that it can cause major disassociation. You're asking CTE victims to be acutely aware of their brain injury? I know you wanted to sound cool and what not, but comments like these are dangerous.

    as someone who has mental health issues, I would say that AB needs to get assessed by a psychiatric team that is familiar with CTE. With a psychiatric team that is familiar with CTE, the team could rule out other/diagnose other conditions that give off the same symptoms. I hope and pray AB gets the help he needs.

      Yea it didnt matter, who cares in this game? The AB situation was clearly more important than the outcome of the game. AB could have helped going into the playoffs and now the Buccs dont have him. It only marginally mattered if the Bucs won the game. Its a huge deal that they dont have him in the playoffs.

What I see is a drama king that was suited for sexually assaulting someone, almost killed a kid, has tried stiff multiple people from getting paid after rendering services, etc. Being "unwell" is one thing. However, right now, that's being used as nothing but an excuse.

    It seems like accountability doesn’t exist in society anymore. There’s always a caveat in why a person acts one way. Maybe just maybe he’s not a good person. He lacks discipline and accountability for his actions. We call those people “assholes”.
    The man doesn’t want help so stop saying “he needs it” when he doesn’t want it.

      Aaron Hernandez was a bad person, Antonio Brown simply just needs help someway somehow I don’t understand why people don’t understand that he wasn’t even like this in the beginning of his career. If you actually played football you would understand some players young and old are struggling from playing this game especially when it comes to their mental health.     Something tells me he’s “Bipolar”. During one of their mania’s, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy or irritable, and they often make impulsive decisions with little regard for the consequences. My brother-in-law told me about this because his wife is Bipolar. Thank God she can keep it under control with the correct medicine.

My son survives mixed symptoms of schizophrenia and bipolar with the help of medication. You should be thanking God if none of your family or you have had to deal with this.

      it's both. He needs to be held accountable but he also needs help due to CTE. Many ex-football stars have the same struggle. Some have died from CTE as young as 18. Head shots affect your brain and your mind.

      I understand how concussions work because I had 3 of them when I played football. However, do not let this fool you. Not showing up to work is a PERSONAL CHOICE. Raping a woman is a PERSONAL CHOICE. Intentionally injuring yourself so that you can’t work is a PERSONAL CHOICE. Filming inside a NFL locker room is a PERSONAL CHOICE. He made all these personal choices and never been held accountable for them

    I grew up rough...played rough sports... military...I used to act out like this. high highs and low lows, they say it's bi polar but he might have cte. or maybe he's really unhappy about something in his life, like whatever the is situation with his kids. I don't find this funny at all: it's sad for football, for his team, and for him. prayers AB

    Not that Bayless/Sharpes are authorities, but according to them there was an exchange between AB and Brady that had to do with him targeting Gronk. That doesn't excuse AB, but that does explain something. As far as the money was concerned, he was going to get that next week.

    Stop making excuses for him (“he needs help, something must have happened to set him off”, etc…). Some people have to hit bottom before they realize that they are their own worst enemy.     He was all done the moment he snapped at Tommy about 'oh you feeding your boy Gronk now huh?!" and Brady got pissed and won the game - targeting ABs backup...and guess what, that kid got the yards and TD that AB would've had, that was his series. Literally jumping jacked away from 1M$...and out of the NFL once the playoffs start. No WAY they release him before then, don't even let a playoff team get a chance to add him to play the Bucs.
