Also Gase is truly a genius. He's turned being Peyton Manning's ball boy into a few head coaching jobs

The best part is: WE WATCHED THIS GUY SUCK FOR THREE YEARS! In our own division! And yet, despite all the good coaching minds available: We decided that this was our guy. He has THIRTY double digit losses in his coaching career. The only team that has as many during that span are the BROWNS (who had a winless season)..

, Josh allen was terrible in college and two years in the league. but the bills have the perfect coach and system for him to finally develop And thrive. Sam darnold was always very talented and in his first year he statistically she's better than allen while carrying the team and last year he battled mono and had a winning record as a starter but this season the team is so terrible that I don't think any qb could be good with. • @jake08311

I have watched Darnold since his college days when he was originally being hyped as a Heisman candidate. After excuses were offered then about coaching and supporting cast, it was apparent Sam was not being given the team(s) to reach the top of the mountain. However, there was ALWAYS a consensus that he had the potential for a great NFL career. In fact, Darnold was hyped to be a #1 pick in the 2018 draft. We know how all that turned out. Now, Darnold is faced with impossible odds to succeed in New York. Are his abilities and leadership skills truly diminished by an inept head coach and/or a lack of talent supporting him? The real question remains is whether or not the fans will rally behind him or force him to find another team altogether. I have my opinion but it is not my decision. My sincere hope is for future success for Sam Darnold no matter where or for whom he plays for. One caveat, of course, is that I will never root for Sam when he plays against my Browns team.😎

You want to talk about injuries and how to build a franchise. Before the season started the Colts lost Rock Ya-Sin to injury but brought in TJ Carrie and Xavier Rhodes in the off-season. In the first two games of the season, their starting running back, number two wide receiver, and starting free safety all got injured. The first three picks of the draft were a starting running back a wide receiver and a free safety in Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr, and Julian Blackmon. THAT is how you run a franchise.

Sanchez got a raw deal with a horrible franchise and was never the same after. Darnold was making strides with Bates at the end of his first year and he's regressed to worse than rookie form under BUMBLING GASE.

The only reason he's a head coach is because he worked with Peyton Manning. Just because you're the OC with an all-time great QB doesn't mean you'll be a good head coach. (See McDaniels, Josh).

Man what happened to the jets? Being in a very similar spot as my bills after they drafted their franchise quarterback in 2017 it just seems like the jets have treaded water and not brought in more talent. Where the bills have added pieces every year it seems like the jets are somehow worse than the 2017 season. Personally I think at this point they just have to make changes throughout the whole organization. Once the bills brought in beane and McDermott we seem to have righted the ship but for the jets none of the moves they’ve made have worked out.

No Sam darnold has bad footwork and makes bad reads sometimes...I bet most of y’all think we would have ruined machomes and Jackson...but when we look at the kid from cincy or the kid from the chargers or even the giants kid...they consistently play better no matter the situation...Herbert didn’t know the plays well enough to hand it to the back where the play was going and in that game still played as good as Sam has ever

as a panther fan i can confirm he is. his decision making just screams trauma and the lack of poise behind the pocket shows tendencies he has from ny. there were major red flags about him coming out of college but getting adam gase was the worst thing that could’ve possibly happened to him. todd bowles wasn’t great but it would’ve been a fuckton better for him in the long run.

  • @ZoomingInOn

People either use the injuries as an excuse, or say that they're inexcusable, and the team has to get bast that. What no one talks about is WHY so many Jets are injured, seemingly each and every year. It's not enough to fire Gase (which is obvious) and a few coaches here and there. You have to completely fumigate the organization including the whole training and medical staff. Clearly, they're doing everything wrong.
