It must have been from the same bank at the same time I picked up the quarters. I'd love to go back in time and pick up everthing they had! It just occured to me that I have some nickels to hunt I may have picked up around then. Maybe I'll find some proof nickels. That would be incredible!
Vrry nice hunt James! From what I've seen on TH-cam in the US dime bixes are amongst the hardest to get good finds in, but your CAD dime boxes seem great! 😉
I'd agree - I see lots of US dime hunts where the entire box is a dud (or multiple boxes) - sort of like my first box here, which is somewhat unusual. I'm finding lots of silver lately, and the bluenose commemoratives make things interesting, too. Not sure I'll find a proof again any time soon!
You're likely to find them if you come across lots of pennies, and the occasional nickel might still circulate. You're hard-pressed to find them in dimes or quarters just because they're silver.
I'm sorry to hear that. They're likely trying to ensure they have sufficient coins for their business customers. My bank will sometimes not allow me to take full boxes when their supply is low. In that case I might just get a bundle or two at a time and have to make multiple trips.
@@CADRollHunter tks. They won’t even order in a box. I can have 2 rolls at my bank. The others will give me a few more. They also won’t let me return rolls. Maybe Hamilton banks are weird. I’ll have to head to Cambridge.
Question for the Roll Hunters. How you get rid of the coins you already search? Me, i put them in circulation again changing to restaurants and Depanneurs.
Great to find silver and an awesome bonus to find the proofs
Thanks so much for watching!
Right after you found your first proof quarters, you found proof dimes. Congrats!

Great hunt, James! That second box definitely made up for the first! Love seeing all that silver and those proofs are gorgeous!
Thanks - definitely a much better box!!
Awesome hunt. 4 silvers and 2 proofs.
A first in dimes for me!
Super jealous, James! I wish my boxes were half that good.
They're not always this good - trust me!! But I'll take it!

The second box more than made up for the first. Great hunt!
Very true - overall a great hunt!
James that was great. Surprise silver is always fun. Congrats on the proofs. I have not a proof dime yet.
Thanks so much Ed - I'm sure you'll find one eventually. I was starting to think they weren't out there for me. I'm glad I found them!
Great hunt James
Thanks!
US fan here, I got a 1958 Canadian Silver Dime.
Very nice - did you find that coin roll hunting? Finding foreign silver is always a rush. Thanks for watching!
@ No, I actually found it in a pile of change my uncle kept for years.
@@stonethemanwho Either way, that's a great find!
Nice Hunt, especially the second one, Congratulations, Keep Stackin bro
Thanks! The second box was definitely better!!
Stunning proofs. WTG
Thanks!
do coins of George VI show up sometimes in circulation still? i recently bought a 1951 Canadian penny with him on it

Dude! Mark your hunted rolls! It always sucks to get a hunted box that has no indicators that it was hunted.... Great finds in the 2nd box though!
I used to mark my hunted rolls. Now I just drop them off at your bank, unmarked... lol!! But, yes, I should do that!
How do you get your bank to give you boxes? Mine and the others near me all refuse to give more than a few rolls. RBC BoM TD.

I just roll them back up and deposit them at the bank.
Really nice hunt james
Thanks!!
Koooool
Thanks for watching!!!
guess the proof here answers my question, nice mate.
Yes, we definitely have proof coins. Very unusual to find them in circulation like this, of course.
I have a 2007 Canadian dime
I love it when I find foreign coins here in Canada - even US ones!
It may be time to see the eye doctor 👀🙈!
Yup, these eyes are getting old!!
@@CADRollHunter Same here, I'm 52!
