    Thanks for the comparison. Does the data match between the two? Was trying to see with the sleep data but believe you showed two different periods. Thanks!

    Great Video Jared! Thanks- I have An Apple Watch 7 and really don’t use ,inch of the Apps anymore and actually trying to unplug more…. All I really want is a low footprint fitness and sleep tracker. Would you still recommend this, not sure about a ring yet still researching but missing fingers in right hand to less options 😂 in case think Whoop would fit the use case?

    I am certainly interested in the Whoop. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 1 which I love. However, I also have some nice watches also which I like to wear sometimes. At the moment, when using one of my other non-smart watches, I wear my Gloring smart ring to count my steps etc. So I am interested in the Whoop as an alternative to my ultra.

    There are better reviews out there. What about the unique features of Whoop such as ai coach, weight training programs, macro nutrients affect on recovery? I’m also amazed that the Ultra has “fantastic” battery life (3 days compared to a Garmin 30 days). Also one of the big advantages of the Whoop is you can wear a non Smart Watch to tell the time.

    How accurate is the sleep data? Do you feel tired when you need more sleep? Or you are energetic with recommended sleep

    • @CapitanuTudor
      @CapitanuTudor 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends. I have sometime 30-40% recovery on whoop, but my energy level is 80-100%. The devices just reads the data, not really telling you the truth.

    You forget the fact that the apple eco system support third party apps. Would be only fair to compare Athlytic on the Apple Watch with Whoop.

      The watch would set you back £800 up front. How long until you want to upgrade to another model ? 2-3 years ? You can use a whoop for 2-3 years for £300 - £400 and you automatically get any new models released in that time. It’s actually a lot cheaper than people make out and better value than actually buying an Apple Watch outright

      I don't know about 2-3 years. I'm still wearing my series 3 Apple Watch and it works perfectly. Could be faster sure, but especially with a durable build in the ultra, it should be able to last several years. Plus you can get a used one or refurbished one for $100-$200 less.

    Hi Jerad, have you noticed that whoop can't detect quick heart rate spikes ? When wearing an Apple Watch simultaneously, Whoop misses the initial spikes during each weight training set. I know my body well and at the end of a set Whoop will show my heart rate at a flat 110 BPM, while Apple recognizes the quick spike to 160 BPM😐

    Honestly compared to my Galxy watch 6 the only advantage it has is that it can be worn 24/7/365 as it can charge while worn... Also the fleability of wearing locations... Which is not a bad thing and is up to preference or if you already wear a watch.

    For me screenless is a deal breaker. Currently I have the Apple Watch and no longer need my phone when going to the gym. The gym workout app I use is available on Apple Watch and I can log my sets, reps, weights etc on my workout plan on my watch without my phone, even alerts me when my rest period is up. I just can’t imagine going back to carrying my phone everytime I go to the gym for essential workout apps I need to log progress on my custom workout plan!

    I was a whoop subscriber for four years. After using the apple watch and other software such as Athlytic for calculating HRV much like Whoop for a fraction of the price, I question the accuracy of the information being provided. One could argue that the whoop data, its benefit to the user is in observing the trends in the data and the accuracy of its measurements is not that critical. I just cannot justify for the price point and the overall lacking experience with their useless customer support. In the end I was not sold on its value to me at the exceptional cost. I lost a band at the gym that I had had paid two years of service on. Instead of doing the right thing and taking care of the customer, it took two weeks of sending requests to whoop support to even illicit a response from the company. After two more questions and going back and forth with their support, I let them know that I was dissatisfied with their lack of care to my needs as a customer. I ended up purchasing an Aura ring, and will see if perhaps the culture of that company is perhaps a better fit. Perhaps they have more value for their customers. Whoop could care less about theirs.

    Whoop is a flat out joke when it comes to pricing. It’s basically paying for a separate gym membership. $200+ for one year only? That is pathetic. And it’s exactly why you don’t see anyone wearing this product. Whoop is one of the biggest scams I’ve seen in the fitness community
