@@Yoshinator I hope they do something to fix it, cause it doesn't really feel like you're getting rewarded for improving at the game anymore like in Splat2 or 1. Even A rank players can get in easily now

The problem is that specials feel good at launch but soon people learn to out play them, I think though maybe if players are creative with tactics kraken could be good again.
I think if they bring back the super jump mechanic with it, it could really be better. Somewhat like splashdowns super jump ability, maybe you could activate it mid jump and do the splashdown but it takes away a few seconds from krakens duration
I think kraken would be perfect as a “can be used, shouldnt always be used” sorta special, because it wouldnt make the game feel toxic, which I think would be possible if they buff kraken too much, as it is very volatile

@davidhower7095 just keep your distance, use your wall for protection, and in general, I play it similarly to how I would play a 96 gal

This is the first time I've heard of the Range Blaster wave breaker tech. Squid school made a video of it in April but I don't always watch his latest videos, and no pro or really good player plays it in comps except Chara but rarely nowadays (and he's like the only one who's famous AND makes videos for the general audience unlike the other pros). It probably looks easy to do that tech too with some practice but unfortunately it doesn't get talked about a lot or seen much at all.
