This video describes Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP). Modified atmospheric packaging (MAP) is a preservation technique wherein we make use of a gas or a combination of gases to inhibit microbial growth. Most often carbon dioxide is used due to its inhibitory nature on microbes. Apart from oxygen and carbon dioxide, we make use of nitrogen as a filler gas.
