thanks for posting your content. a good way to help with knowing when to use zealantis to break boards vs. poseidra is based on the board. Zealantis can't spin s/t cards so a good rule of thumb when breaking boards is poseidra = s/t and zealantis = monsters
What is the point of building, testing, putting time into a list and taking it to a regional all to just play 2 matches and call it quits? Losing to Numeron isn’t real because the deck isn’t a real deck. Why wouldn’t you take the Ls on the chin and yeah you may not top, but getting the opportunity to play the deck against other matchups and players are still extremely valuable even thought you’ve already gotten your invite. This is a constructive criticism question not hate at all for anyone thinking that because I personally love the channel and have gained so much value from it, I just personally want to know why? Thanks in advance
Basically because i wasnt totally feeling it and i also really enjoy going around and trading and i havent focused on trading during an event in years so i thought id change it up, focus on trading for some other decks, and hang out with the other guys between rounds
abyss dweller is mandatory. the best deck is snake eye fire king. if they fuwalos you make abyssdweller and pass they auto loose to dweller. you dont always open the thrust. zealantis comes up all the time as well.
I personally prefer secret rares because in my experience they don't curl as much as Ultra/Supers. I also double sleeve and secrets pop a lot more that way, while ultras get muted. Wish I picked up the Dominus Impulses at around 30€. Now I don't wanna get them anymore as I don't get to play IRL often enough to invest the money. Can't win them all, there were locals I got blown out with the same deck that went undefeated the next week. I struggle between secret rares and prismatic ultimate rares right now. I feel a lot of FOMO picking up the prismatics, because they also likely wont get cheaper/more prints once the 25th thing is finally over. It's a struggle because on cardmarket vendors with large stock charge double basically, but if I pick the cards up for cheap I'm paying a fortune for shipping. EU is hard sometimes.
Yeah its tough. I picked up secret dragoons because they are super clean. But i like original prints sometimes and ive had the BOSH neptabysses for years so i feel like i should play em haha
To answer your question: The secrets are clean so you gotta play them I'm curious about your thoughts on Prosp. I get the need to dig for a starter or extender, but what can we afford to banish? The deck goes through a lot of its extra so I don't see what to prosp. Also I agree on your thoughts on Zealantis. If you get to a point where you can make Zealantis, that means you're playing and can probably clear the opponent's board in other ways. Maybe in the future there can be a format where Zealantis' removal is necessary Lastly, I'm not sure how I feel about LeVirtue and virtue stream. It's the best way to play through shifter if you can get to Abyssrhine for Coelecanth, but I can see why you'd cut it for extra utility. What are your thoughts there?
Yeah its in there mostly for shifter and if shifter gets banned then i think i’d cut the package. Assuming i find something better to replace it with. But quality water extra deck stuff is lacking
Deep sea aria one of is really good. Deck sucks going second luckily main deck poseidra post suda is incredibly good going second. Dont put yourself down this is just an opportunity for future success
I played this deck for a month, but i gave up because it's honestly not very consistent. This deck is realllllly bad if you don't open neptabyss or a way to it and if you don't start with it squad or goons is a huge chokepoint. I wouldn't play this deck again without cutting every potential brick like armored shark and playing props 1 for 1 some small worlds etc. Just my opinion
