A series of quakes hit off the coast of Ishika in Japan, with one even reaching a 7.6 magnitude, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
The country issued a tsunami warning after the quakes struck, and Japanese public broadcaster NHK TV has warned that waves could reach as high as 16 1/2 feet.

You are supposed to evacuate calmly instead of running out panicking and risk getting hurt.

The most powerful earthquake I felt in my life was a major turbulence in a 747 I boarded in. Legit, the flight attendant jumped very high, along with the cart full of opened water bottles.

@Mister_Listener "God" doesn't "make" earthquakes. Those are caused by plate tectonics. Japan is a member of the "ring of fire". Under Japan, a plate is being subducted beneath the plate Japan is sitting on.

The cool thing anoub Japan's train system, it's built with earthquake sensors on the trains. If it senses an earthquake, the trains all emergency break automatically.
