Chris Terzaghi thanks for this video man!! I have the same issue with the exact truck. I also I have rattle in the passenger seat as well. Have you had this issue and if so where was it coming from? I can’t seem to figure it out. Looks like it could be from the headrest
Stephen Haywood I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab This is going to sound insane but I had what I thought was a passenger seat rattle for a year or so. I did everything to that seat from greasing the rails to having the dealer replace the lower frame. Still rattled like crazy over there. Turns out it was the door latch striker! Wrap some electrical tape or gorilla tape around the outside part of the door striker (the U shaped metal piece bolted to the B pillar). The door will still shut. Once I did that the rattle was gone.
My 2018 silverado custom edition has the most annoying rattle or click noise from same spot when its cold it will click and pop like crazy until the plastic warms up..dealership "could not duplicate noise" go figure might have to try this myself

I've been trying to figure out my rattle in my dash and that is totally what it is thank u very I almost burnt my truck down over this God damn rattle
I just purchased a used 2018, 2500 HD. I was driving it this morning and it started with a rattle in the dash. I’m so glad I came across your video.

2018 Duramax here with the rattle. This is exactly what it was. 3M VHB tape on both sides. Thanks brotha

I haven’t heard anything else since I fixed the dash. Hopefully it’s something small and you find it.

Incompetent to say the least. Been going thru the same shit for 5 years now. Absolutely disgusting

Did you end up putting tape on it?
Ended up using Gorilla double sided tape
