IMPORTANT NOTES:
The molotov was patched and no longer counts as an accident kill, meaning that the leaderboards have been adjusted since the events covered in this video. I know it seems weird given that these changes happened a while ago, but I've been working on this video for
so long that these changes weren't accounted for in the script.
Sometimes I implied that these runners came up with the individual level strats they used, and this is not always true. If you are interested in who developed the original strats, check out the videos of the runs linked below, which often contain such details in the description or subtitles.

As an outsider speed running is so funny cause it’s like if Usain Bolt was the record holder for years then all of the sudden “John Lightning” takes it only to then be dethroned a week later by “Bob Runsalot”
What an unfortunate chain of complete accidents completed in astounding speeds.
I love the way it says “body found” if the target in France is killed by a chandelier. Like no shit Sherlock there were 1,000 people there
Love how you're shining light on the actual players themselves. They deserve this praise. Brilliant tactics, I can't imagine the Number of hours spent staring st a loading screen to achieve these.
Glad you enjoyed :)
Aspecticor speedrunning his way to becoming the Wirtual of Hitman
Fr
fax I was thinking the exact same thing, prolly a little inspired
Wirtual speed running his way to become summoning salt of tmnf
literally found this from a wirtual video
This genuinely felt like a Wirtual video. Is guy also Norwegian?
7:50
I love how casually he says "Sending him to the Shadow Realm" like he's teaching a class.
lmao and "fowl play"
This is the greatest video ever made, fixed my marriage, cured my gout, and gave me $500. Thanks Aspecticor!
FR
this video ruined my marriage, gave me gout, and lost me $500. definitely worth it, great video
This video woke me up to the fact i’m not married, don’t have gout, nor $500. This was definitely a video that is watchable.
My gout returned shortly after finishing this video, i have to continue watching it on repeat
This is the greatest comment ever, it fixed my depression, got me a promotion, and gave me a nice hot meal! Thanks Skelly!
I play hitman EXTREMELY casually (ive never finished a suit only mission lol) but your explanation is detailed enough for even a novis like me to understand some of the most intricate details of this game, another great video, thank you!
You haven’t completed ANY suit only missions? Not even Carpathian Mountains?
after watching this, I can definitely say that more hitmen should go for the "throw a propane tank and then shoot it" technique. Seems proven to be very effective in taking out targets silently.
43:00 I agree with you; while the Molotovs accidental kills were obviously a bug, it was part of the game's mechanic, and thus available for any player to utilize. And I also understand why runs who relied on it are not invalided per see, but were relegated to a type of "legacy runs," since the mechanics were changed, and thus the playing field wasn't equal anymore.
Rest in peace to the Molotov, you’ll be missed 🫡
Moodeh is a legend. Always used his own strategies!
Well he did copy strategies in his fastest runs but yes for a long time he did not give in to copy the Paris bomb launch run and he is an absolute legend
Keep up the good work, man! I was hyped for your next release ever since I saw your last video, your quality deserves more attention!
Fr fr
Amazing vid as always: Top tier explanations and examples, and very well edited. Can definitely see the amount of effort you put into this. ♥👏
That being said, was a lil upset that there was no explanation of Elusive Targets. Oh well, maybe next time.

This vid strangled me to death with piano wire and crammed my lifeless body into the cupboard :(
Yeah. Its on a quality level I've only seen with Wirtual in gaming, and he has like 40x the subscribers. Super underrated channel.
@@sandwichboy1268 wat
@@piercearora7681 Uh, ever heard of SummoningSalt?
I love the way you broke down the creative ways the speed runners used to complete their challenges. This is an excellent video. Keep it up!
I'd love to see a video that looks at the routing changes to some of these levels since 2016 as the mechanics changed
Fr fr
Top tier video quality, you can tell this took a while. Keep up the good work
You put so much work into this and it showed

The background music being mostly HOME, great editing, managing to keep my attention on a long video, talks about one of the best games ever made… this video is a masterpiece

The shameless merch drop ad with merc was the best part of the video
Amazing vid, Good job Aspect
Really one of the effortlessly best videos I've ever watched
you could not possible have watched more than 10 minutes of the video so you're just capping
@@Sapors 10x speed lol
Let’s gooooo aspect! Know you been grinding on this one
This was such a cool video, thanks for making it
When he celebrated 20k subs I was in shock, the videos are such high edited and quality that I expected at least 100k
I just got back into these types of videos so this is a crazy coincidence
This video was incredibly well done and incredibly entertaining. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! This type of creative content always gets a thumbs up from me! 👍
This vid is great as always! I can't wait for your bird% one.
Watching this after seeing how you are in streams, its funny when you do serious professional vids like this. This is suit and tie with a clipboard Aspecticor in real serious adult mode right now. Great stuff as always, even if I only want Hitman Horse.
Hitman Horse!
Hitman Horse!
I'm always happy to see more quality "speedrun explained" channels and videos. Really helps set a baseline for understanding what you're watching on stream!
actually loving these vids. keep it up❤
I've watched this video about 5 times.
I just love it❤
Thank you so much 🎉
this guy aspectator is so effortlessley cool
Just found your content through a friend of a friend, super solid and enjoying videos!
thank you for this and your work, great material i had so much fun watching this
Great video never seen that violin skip on marra before 28:37 crazy how strats evolove
@48:42 I like how you like up the beat drop in we are finally landing with the head shots in the final record. Liked the song so much since summoningsalt
This is another very well put together video.
Nice video again, well worth the wait!
These are the videos that take me three days to watch because things get in the way. It's part of the experience.
This is an amazing video. This morning, I was wishing for a summoning salts hitman video, and this made my day.
This video is very well done, but the clever npc disbelief explanation is what got me to suscribe. Well played. 😮😅
Rewatched the first video just yesterday.
Perfect timing 🥃
theres not many times i can say ive watched a 40 min video and actually enjoyed it but this 43 min video i just watched was amazing great commentary
Actually the greatest rivalry in hitman speedrunning is the Sapienza any% battle between Quasimoto and Hulime.
i agree
Good shit brother amazing vid clear explanations for new people
Stoked to see you making these
Okay, this is so cool. Great work!
The way you worked this history video is similar to how Summoning Salt does his. You went a little more in depth with each specific run than he does, however. Nice video, it was fun and easy to follow!
your videos and streams got me back into speedrunning and it's been so much fun! thank you for another insanely good video. the amount of work you put into this shows and it's truly impressive.
This is now my new of my favourite video of all time
been waiting for a new hitman speedrun docu 🙏
I'm mega curious if bomb launches could be used for any of the other stages
It seems insanely impractical, but any time save at this point would be huge
Moo and I were working on a launch for Colorado when we were still playing as its the only map left in S1 that could see an improvement from it, but it raised a few problems that were pretty much unsolvable, so unless some massive development is discovered, I don't think S1 will see more launches.
I was fucking astonished the first time I saw a bomb launch, I was like wtf we're using artillery now guys
@@californianightmares6463 And just like Artillery, its an obnoxious pain in the ass to aim effectively and with precision, bomb launchs are insane
@Extant Fellow moo did do one on hokkaido in this video
The main thing about these I see is abuse of hitman logic and the games physics engine regarding explosions
What a video as always! Love how you explain things so clearly which helps me whos pretty new to hitman fully understand whats going on.
Would love to see a video on Atrioc and the impact he made on the speedrunning community at some point also
just watched your last video last night, kinda crazy this was here when i woke up
Im just so happy to see a speedrun that uses the game clock. So many just say real time no breaks and leave it there.
This intro explained a good 5-6 things I never knew from atriocs videos even tho he’s explained elusive targets 27 times
What's really insane is that only a month ago as of posting this comment, someone shattered the record again, faster than even the voided molotov runs. The record now is 3:25. This type of game is essentially like one big moving puzzle. As someone who has difficulty even completing it casually, it's simply mind blowing to me how efficiently the levels can be completed by speedrunners.
So proud of you aspecticor 🥳
NEW ASPECTICOR VIDEO, CHANGED MY LIFE.
Thanks a lot! These playthroughs are basically the anime version of my playthroughs.
The rivalry in the hitman speedruning community is insane it's the Goku and Vegeta's rivalry but in Hitman speedruning.
These guys are insane legendary for the speed of these missions. But man…….any irl situations like these , you’re 10000% caught immediately lol .
Great work! Amazing content
yay, another one!! thanks dude :)
Lovely video, good job my man.
Your videos always make me want to drop everything and play Hitman! 😅
This video was the bread and butter to my day ❤
There seems to be a distinct lack of gorillas being mentioned in your Colorado analysis. 7/10
Wowww great vid :) keep going at it
This is better than every cat video on the internet and I have seen all of them!!! Goated merch btw
Nice Video, well done!
Keep posting videos, your videos are fantastic!!!!!!
very entertaining and really well done
Fantastic video - quality content!
This video will be in history classes in the future , thank you
banger video as always, Eyebrow Kid
amazing video as always
Great work man!
what a great video, love ur content
This reminds me of Taran Van Hemert's Zelda speedrunning history video with the barrier skip. I don't play Zelda or Hitman but I love seeing developments in runs as it pushes the game and its players to its limits. Great video as always!
Loved the video!
Awesome video, thanks!
ayo this man's voice is so relaxing i like it i subbed
great video! I'm turning on my pc and start shooing some guards!
