I inherited my Dad's Peavy Fury bass. Did not mess with it too much for many years. Now I see the value in it. It is a really nice axe. Going to replace pickups, pots and the nut. The usual clean up and set up. Put some Rotosounds on her. My dad would be proud.

I prefer a Pbass Fender made in Mexico than a Squier...The necks of Squiers are often twisted and the wood of the neck has difficulty withstanding bad weather compared to other brands of basses or guitars.

Ever tried the baking soda and super glue trick to fix a too deep nut slot? Yeah. Me neither. Seems like a crap way to fix something. Shim or just replace.
