I would argue that anarchy should belong to its own ideology, in the way that Kaiserreich does it. I can understand why Paradox didn't rock the boat and stuck with just four ideologies, but they could have given the anarchists diplomatic penalties with other communist nations. I say this because the communist ideology in this game is treated as an inherently authoritarian regime, like stalinism, and a modifier of some sort would clarify that the anarchists are very much against that.

The reason the Nationalists have so many generals is cause that's how it was irl. Most of the military leadership joined the nationalists & that's a big reason why they defeated the Republic.

You got the middle path for the Nationalists totally wrong. It's not a fascist path - they're considered non-aligned - and is the historical path where Franco played the Fascist and Carlist leaders within the Nationalist movement off against each other to eventually consolidate the movement under one party and stabilize it, but did accept military help from the Germans and Italians. They only actually go fascist if they - following a non-historical path - choose to actively align with the Axis, reflecting how Franco stayed neutral after the civil war, save for the volunteers who went to fight the Soviets, because, unsurprisingly, they really didn't like communists. The left-hand path is the truly fascist path, where the organizers of the revolt choose not to involve Franco and so the fascist factions become dominant.
Here´s a fun fact: If you win quickly enough against the Nationalists you will automatically flip to whatever faction you choosed. In this case, you´ll automatically flip to the Anarchists.

Okay, a warning for you Pravus as someone who conquered literally the entire world as the Anarchists: The Anarchists have really cool mechanics, but they are mostly all terribly designed. In specific a lot of their cool mechanics require the use of around 150 political power. And given that you will be at 0% stability the entire game. And then those mechanics put a negative 1 political power per day on you. In the end they just aren't worth it. The only things worth coring in my opinion is Portugal, and the Seeds of Rebellion aren't really worth the 90 day wait and the 150 political power cost except against Japan really.
Coring only Costs 150 Pol Power if ist not adjacent to a spanish core, it only Costs 50 Pol Power otherwise. Coring just one of the Guanxi-Clique territories helped a lot to get rid of Manpower Problems

The only way to conceivably core the entire planet in the fastest amount of time is to save up enough to core the entire planet at once (which is a ridiculous sum, I know, I did it) after you own it all, and then wait to burn out your soon to be thousands in the negative political power.
