You got super lucky with Portugal going Monarchist. They'll support a monarchy in Brazil, and if the Brazillian Empire wins that civil war, Portugal will try to reform the Portuguese-Brazillian Empire. If that happens before you support Portuguese Anarchy, you can end up annexing both Portugal and Brazil!

The gemic with Portugal, is that ANY route excluding the status quo and democratic route, if the ideology flip focus is completed under either 40% or 50% stability (depends on which focus it is) will start a civil war, this warning is giving in the focus description, the kicker to them though, is that the focus used to boost your ideology, excluding the fascist (they have a guy to boost stability) will start reducing stability weekly, forcing you to rush the flip. The Unite the Kingdoms route as Portugal is the most blatant example of this,

It was put down quite quickly and the general was sentenced to death, although it was changed to life sentence and then he was pardoned by the government once it flipped from a leftist coalition to a right-wing one in 1934. This general, Sanjurjo, had to lead the coup in 1936 but he died when he was flying back from Lisbon, where he was exiled, in a plane crash. Just in case you want to know :).

There are a ton of different anarchist tendencies, and I can't speak for them all, but most of us fall into broadly libertarian left positions that are often more in-line with actual communist theory than most of the Marxist-Leninist groups wearing the "communist" name. We disagree strongly with the authoritarian tendencies of Marxism, while agreeing with the need to overthrow capitalism and replace it with an equitable, classless model of living.
