    Thanks Brian for all your help videos. I enjoy them and they are a huge help. I just ordered a set of Driven Track Day Lever Guards from you last night. Thanks gain, God Bless and ride safe Sir.

    that movement at 150mph will push the lever down into the fairing and chip the paint on your 30k sportbike- i know from experience!! The OEM rubber part inside has to come out-doesn't get the lever tight enough- like you said

      The lever guards work best with aftermarket clip ons for sure. The R6 we installed this on was crashed at the track shortly after we installed this in the OEM clip on and it held up perfectly. Ryan is still using it as is now. - Van

      Iam getting to much vibrations because I removed the oem inside parts. Look good but not practical- hands are not happy

    I have these lever guards currently installed on my OEM bars but switching to driven halo clip ons, which insert did you guys use to install the guard on the aftermarket bars? Thanks !

      You will use the insert that looks like two wedges slid over a fastener. - Van

      I do not think you would be able to get one to fit on that bike. Try some windproof gloves. - Van

      Just ordered some Barkbusters Aero-GP Lever Protectors - I'll let you know how they work. I prefer not wearing thick, winter gloves when I ride@@sportbiketrackgear

      If you need the bar to be hollow the best way to do that is to replace the OEM bars with a set of aftermarket clip ons. - Van

    if we taken off the handle balancer off and install this lever guard. does the vibration will increase more if we using the lever guard?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is possible there will be a little more vibration in the bars. Really depends on the bike and how sensitive the rider is to this. The lever guard should help to manage the vibrations to some degree. - Van

      I have used the Driven Halo Clip Ons on several bikes now and have always been happy with them. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/driven-halo-clip-ons/

    Will it fits on my cb300r I was trying to buy one will it serve the purpose as a protector??

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I comes with a range of hardware that allow for installation on many OEM bars. It should fit on the 300, that said I have not installed one on that bike myself so I can not say with 100% confidence. - Van

    Can you upload video how to remove the insert.. I facing hard time to romove it...

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry we do not have any bikes here with OEM bars on them currently. All of our bikes have aftermarket clip ons installed on them now. The Yamaha's have 2 tabs on the insert you need to compress with a small sized flat blade screw driver to release the insert. Sometimes it helps to have a bolt from the bar end threaded into the insert so you can pull on it with a pair of pliers while releasing the tabs on the insert. - Van

      @@sportbiketrackgear Hi there. Nice video. I have a 2007 R6 (RJ11). Is it the same way to remove the insert as the newer model? Or should I drill the rubber inside on 2 or 3 points to remove? BR

    This is for what ?? can someone explain me ??

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is meant to prevent unwanted contact with the brake lever when racing in close quarters. It also can protect your hands in the event of a crash. - Van

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMO this works best when installed with aftermarket clip ons. This install uses the wedges included with the lever guard and really stays in place. - Van

      Saby Walleh by pulling it out before you’ve fully unscrewed the bar end (it expands the further it’s screwed in)

    Like them on dirt bikes, super motos and stunting. Purpose is clear but a little bit too much of a useless accessorie, my levers will be the least of my concerns if i go down dragging. Shorty levers and decent bar ends...
