Really in depth video on how to remove the fairings. Great work, showing us to not only work in a proper way but also be efficient and organized. I've had troubles finding the right spot in the front bottom part putting the fairing back on. Pulling up and to the front will give that a try this afternoon. Thanks for this video, you are very underrated as in you deserve more views and recognition.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the kind words. The channel is slowly growing but Id have to agree with you 😂🙂. Sometimes especially after a long day the simplest little bolts can be super annoying to get back in their spots.
@@CHRGITUP Oh yeah don't sweat it, I respect it. And the pulling forward on the plastic piece worked better for me this time. Slowly but surely you'll get there. Yea they are but those are the ones that'll level the skills right
Finally got back to reinstalling my fairings I removed 2 months ago and I completely forgot what bolts go where (not that it mattered cause I lost most) but really in depth video with clear instructions helped me put it all together. Thank you, I’ll be ordering what I’m missing to get it back on the road.
Glad the video was useful! Really happy to hear comments like these! Hopefully you got all the bolts back on and are on the road again. Personally I ordered x1 of each bolt L and R side to have as replacements. Those things come loose from vibrations all the time unfortunately. Ride safe! 🤙🏍
Thanks so much! Finally got some good tools for working on my 2017 R6 and need to do a complete fluid flush and fill, biggest concern was the body work but this is an amazing breakdown.
Yeah those two are the worst, I got rid of the OEM style and put in my own push pins. DM me on IG or TikTok, maybe I can walk you through how to get those ones off and toss them away! 😎
I think you mean the frame sliders... check out a video I have posted on the frame sliders. In the description section I have the links to the products.
It really doesn't. That bracket is small enough where the heat dissipates quickly especially while riding. Also the OEM "rivet" screw type push pin is plastic.
Hey Man, Superb video, like the detailed way you explained everything, Need a small help, by any chance do you know the part no. for the under belly bolt you removed in this video, which connects the left side and right side underneath and it was a single bolt. Just checking if you could help…
Sup Bruh! Okay so I do have the part # for the bolt which holds the two fairing pieces together at the back near the rear tire. Just an FYI, this is the same bolt that holds the front of the fairing together as well. Hit me up on IG or TikTok and I can send you the images to make sure we are talking about the same bolt. Part #'s Bolt - 90111-05045 x1 Bolt Retainer - 90183-050A6 (This is the piece that the bolt get's screwed into, just incase it has gone missing.)
Send me a DM on IG, ill send you how to possibly get that nonsense out. You are now the 5th or 6th person to reach out to me... sounds like a video is coming soon for this!
A bunch of other companies make "no cut" sliders... having the sliders go directly to the engine bolts is how they are designed to take the full force of a possible impact, no cut ones are not. 100% fact that a "no cut" slider will actually do damage to your fairings and the engine bolt(s) if it take an impact. Just because they are "no cut" doesn't mean they are better by any means.
"Japan" had stock left over from 2020 so Yamaha just decided to call the 2019/2020 builds as 2021's. There are R6's that are actually 2021 models and that are still being made, however, only for Europe and only for track purposes.

Never thought of switching that screw to a push pin. Thank you!
Also did a video of actually switching it and removing broken pins/push pin.
Thanks so much! Finally got some good tools for working on my 2017 R6 and need to do a complete fluid flush and fill, biggest concern was the body work but this is an amazing breakdown.
Awesome to hear! Glad the video was helpful!! 👍
Awesome video. I was able to do coolant flush and frame slider install thanks to you!
Excellent! Glad the video's were helpful! 🤙🏍️
I am having a lot of trouble with that plastic screw that is holding the fairing down to the radiator mount. I can’t get it out

@@CHRGITUP I appreciate it, I messaged you
Can you please go over how to replace nose fairing where windshild connects. Thanks
I've already done a video on this, have a look or search for the video! 🤙🏍
Thanks for the video!! I’ve been working on my 2020 but didn’t have the time to put it together and I forgot the places for the nuts 🤣🤙🏽
Im super glad the video was useful!! 👍🤙 Ride safe brother!

I think you mean the frame sliders... check out a video I have posted on the frame sliders. In the description section I have the links to the products.
@@CHRGITUP okay thanks
@@CHRGITUP yeah bro I found your link
I drop you a message on your IG asking
Very informative thanks but doesn’t that radiator bracket piece get super hot like the rest of the radiator? Not sure if plastic will last

Let me send you the info when I get home tomr. Send me a DM on IG and ill send you the images of the measurements.
Sent you a reply on IG! 🤙
Nice video. It’s helpful for me. So, where can buy those push pin?
you can get small sets of the push pins from your local auto store, or even wish and Amazon tbh.
Link to the same 620pcs set here: amzn.to/3shT8Ch
@@CHRGITUP thank your so much

You mean the entire front end fairing where the headlights are?
@@CHRGITUP yes please this video help me a lot with the side fairings

What are you changing on the front end?
Thanks you for subscribing! 👍🤙✌
Do you have one for the front fairing?
Hey there, sorry I do not. This is the first time anyone has asked me for that. I'll deffinatley add it to my list though.
Good News! The upper front cowling is not hard to do what so ever... I did the video this morning and will launch it Friday 12am, hope this helps!!

That screw pin is so annoying to remove I’m having so much trouble with it
Also did a video of some options to remove the pin if it's being annoying or broken.

brother don't you sell the original mirrors of your yamaha r6?
Nope, haven't sold them yet. Are you looking for a set? 😁😂
Great job bro 👏🏿
Thank you! 👍🤙
That hole for the slider in the fairing tho🤦🏽♂️….OES makes a no cut set
