    I love fruits, vegetable, polenta and seafood. Not much pasta or bread.
    Pasta maybe once a month. 😊
    Love the way you twist the pasta recipes to make them interesting and tasty.
    Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

    Wry nice video, I love that you eat pasta everyday, here in the US we eat pasta about 3 days a week, your recipes are simple but yet delicious, your diet is excellent plenty of vegetables and not much meat….Brave ragazzi

      We cannot imagine a day without pasta! It's such a simple but wonderful food to eat, especially with all those veggies that we grow. Summer vegetables are almost ready and loads of different pasta dishes will be on our table 😀

    Lovely to see your cooking and what you get to eat. Very jealous of the honey and chocolate.

    Friends have a house in Modica (we are Canadians) and I have stayed there which of course includes a trip to the chocolate shop. Fascinating chocolate products. Very different. Lovely. You two are so lovely together.

      @daviddeveau5101 You were lucky to visit Modica! We still need to go there one day and see it for ourselves. Modica chocolate tastes so different compared to chocolate that we usually buy. Did you like some specific chocolate?

    Have watched a few of your vlogs and enjoying. Just watched how you both met in England, by your name Nino your family must be from Sicily seeing you had property in Sicily. We also have lots of pasta dishes, it might seem like lots of pasta to other people, but it’s a filler with lots of heathy veggies.

      We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our vlogs. Thank you for letting us know 😊 And yes, my husband is Sicilian 😀 Pasta, which is something quick to make, delicious, and with fresh vegetables can be such a wonderful addition to a healthy diet. We love it. Happy to hear you love it too! Sending you warm wishes from Sicily ❤️

    Do you have rain water collection systems?
    We live in a part of Costa Rica that is dry for 6 months out of the year. We have three extremely large tanks where we collect rainwater off the rooftops of our structures. Also this year we started a lake to retain rainwater. I hated watching it all flow out to the ocean when we needed it on our property.

    I am wondering. How long does the unfiltered olive oil stay fresh in a glass bottle? 5 months? 8 months? A year? More?

    • @SomethingLikeThis1
      @SomethingLikeThis1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We never had it going bad. We had it for 3 years the longest and it didn't change much. It is still unmatched to the ones they sell in the supermarkets.

    I know there are hedgehogs in Scicily. They come out usually late at night. At least your crops are not sprayed with chemicals and are all natural. 😊

  • @janetlombardi2314
    @janetlombardi2314 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Do you know that hedgehogs are the best thing to have in your garden, especially as you are growing crops as they eat all the bugs around them, which essentially is good for the crops. Lovely food, by the way. Thank you 😊❤

      @SomethingLikeThis1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @janetlombardi2314 I would love to have them. But I haven't seen any around. I would love to get a couple of runner ducks. They are so adorable and help with slugs!

      Thank you for watching ♥ we don't buy any vegetables, fruits, herbs or eggs. We try to make the most with what we have. But then obviously we need to add meat, fish, pasta, flour and so on. But our diet is rather simple. We always try to have at least something of what we have on a table. Summer meals contain even more vegetables from our garden.

    Ahhhhh memories, orzo bimbo, that was the famous brand i still remember.
    By the way did you know in Australia pecorino is made with cow's milk 😊.

      My husband's brother tried to find orzo bimbo for his son, but it seems that the brand doesn't exist anymore.
      Wow, that's a new thing to learn. Does it taste any similar?
