I'm a fan of the Old Republic, Clone Wars (Republic days) and Empire days. In my eyes, Star Wars ended with the death of Vader and the return of Anakin as the Jedi in Episode 6, thereby fulling the prophecy of the Chosen One. I am ok with the Rebels cartoon series. Btw, I love the Darth Plagueis novel which is totally not cannon in Disney's eyes. i have absolutely NO interest in the High Republic comics/novels, Mandalorian tv series, upcoming Ahsoka tv series, Boba Fett tv series, Andor tv series, Rogue One movie, Han Solo movie, the recent Kenobi mini series, and definitely not Ep 7 to 9 (rey, poe, kylo ren are dead to me). You can tell I hate Disney, can't you? Given the above, if I ignore the first and last chapters of this novel, do you think I will enjoy the remaining 8 stories? I heard about this book in a TH-cam video and this video made me want it more. I’m currently in “death troopers” a Star Wars zombie story, if you’ve read it I would like to know your opinion Btw I wanna read more about Rey, do you know more books about her?
I love Obi-Wan cover of this book. Was it only for Star Wars Celebration or will it be available in stores too? I would love to have that Obi cover but I don't know if I would be able to get it cause I wasn't on Celebration 😭
It is a celebration exclusive. I wish they made it public as well, it alas it is not. If you’re serious about finding a copy, I suggest looking at ABE books online, Facebook Marketplace, or some other resale place where an individual is selling it. It’s unlikely any are for sale yet, but it’s possible.

Also I'm actually wondering if you'd ever consider doing a video on the star wars essential collection book re-releases or discuss any books that should get rereleased in starwars. We already have Kenobi and the thrawn/ Darth bane trilogy with 4 of the rouge squadron books set to drop this year. If that's not your interest I totally understand I just enjoy your videos a lot

Since I've already got almost all of the Expanded Universe books, I didn't really think there was a necessary point in repurchasing through the essential collection. I might pick up one of the books if its one that I don't currently have, but that hasn't happened yet. So the only thing I could cover is either the quality of the covers or books I think should be added (and quite frankly, most of the ones I would have added have already been added). I am a fan of the rerelease strategy though. It is getting more people into the Star Wars books and into the Legends/Expanded Universe. I would suggest looking up "The Geek's Attic" on TH-cam, as he covers most if not all of the essential legends collections and rereads them as they come out.
I loved the Maul story in this, I would love for a Maul book between his appearance in Solo, and where we see him at the end in the Rebels.

There aren’t too many Rey books, but she appears in “Resistance Reborn”, as well as the “Before the Awakening” book.
