    Love it. Bought my 2018 new and outright in 2017 and added almost 70k miles on it. Other than a coolant leak and normal oil and brake maintenance, this car is a wonderful daily.

    As I search TH-cam for info on an Audi S5, I came across your review. As I start viewing this video, I noticed the date that you officially uploaded it. Though this has nothing to do with the excellent review, it does have to do with the exact date that we lost our 16 year old son! Which brings me back to the review. This just confirms the purchase of this particular vehicle!!!! Thank You & God Bless You!

    Love this car as well as the S4. I can’t afford to buy a new one, but I wouldn’t buy a used one because of the many problems that occur with German cars in general. I’ve had a pre owned BMW and Audi in the past and each one had a plethora of problems, and it’s always things that don’t break in other cars. I know you can buy a warranty but it’s an added expense, and in my experience, they don’t cover everything. I also don’t enjoy taking my car to the shop. I’ll be trading in my trouble free 156,000 mile 2013 Lexus GS350 f-sport for a new Genesis G70 3.3 awd. I would love to see you review one Kevin. Keep up the good reviews!

    My S5 is definitely getting EPA+ level of numbers. I rather think VW Group is still smarting over their inflated diesel lies, so they're trying to pay it back by going under. Bc yanno... "honest company" lol.
    We went with the S5 over the S4 specifically because of rear space: there's actually almost 2" more rear seat space in the 5 > 4... albeit with that lowered roof that one must duck past. My 6-2 passenger can easily sit behind my 6' frame. Maybe your 5-11 is all legs, idk lol.
    So far as "soul" or "innate spirit" for a car goes... I've just left my '19 AR Guilia QV and that's enough "spirit" for me, at least when it comes with that level of quality issues. The QV was in a league of it's own... fantastic in nearly every measurable way... but what set it apart was how dynamic it was subjectively, too. Whereas it was Real, my S5 seems inauthentic. But, it's also more comfy, gets better MPGs, is cheaper to insure, and has a legit dealer network in NA. Hence, 5 yrs after turning in an S4, I'm back with Audi. Happy trails!

  • @cklam8722
    @cklam8722 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    People must respect Audi S5, coupe or fastback for its V6 Turbo Engine offering an unnoticeable turbo lag from 1500 rpm onward. "Lack of Soul" ? I don't think so. Steering feel is sharp and always pointing to curve and apex, from entering to exiting with no hesitation at all. So why it should bear such an humiliating label. In stormy weather on the road, the Quattro system really performs with strong confidence. Same with uphill drive. Every aspects of the Audi S5 are so balance. It is an excellent driver car easy to live with. The premium grade materials used inside the car, and the assemble craftsmanship level makes a statement to those who can appreciate its character and uniqueness.
