I visited this Pequod's over the summer of 2017 and it was fantastic. Fun atmosphere, amazing deep dish. Sausage and garlic was a great choice. The two I was travelling with somehow did not enjoy the pizza at all and complained about it often after the fact while travelling. The journey showed me that they were overweight and lazy fuddy duddies who ate McDonald's almost daily. No surprise they hated amazing food.

If you see he process, it's only the cheese that rides the walls, sauced, and then the ingredients are added in the end. So technically it's a pan pizza because it's hand tossed and then layered in the wrong order. But the pizza is top 3 for me.
