      Yes, 450h+ videos have less audience as it's to a particular model only and with the shortage and low volume there are less who care about them. But it's still a good if you consider moving to the PHEV.
      Thank you for your support!

    What if you set the start and departure times within close intervals? Will one function override the other? For example, on a 120v outlet, it probably takes 12 hours to charge the battery. If I set the start time at 12 a.m. and departure time at 7 a.m., will it only charge within that time frame? Or will the car think there is not enough time to charge up the battery and disregard the start time?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have never done this before myself, but my understanding is that it will start charging 12 hours before the departure time is set. So if you have 7am, it should start charging around 7-8pm time frame if your traction battery is at 30% (meaning no EV range left). If you have a lot of battery left, and if the determined departure time minus the time to charge is after the start time, it will start charging at the start time. The departure time minus the amount of time the car thinks it will need to charge is the other start time. The software does not have a setting to set only charge within that timeframe.

    Hi,
    What is your experience when charging during winter? Do you warm up your car?
    Thank!

    • @lsft
      @lsft  ปีที่แล้ว

      I typically charge in the garage, and I don't need to warm up the car. The car has a function to warm up the battery so that it can efficiently charge the battery.

    HI, your videos are really helpful - i am due to get my NX in August and wondered if you go do a review on the Climate settings, i believe that the seats and steering wheel are linked to the cabin temperature, so if you turn the temp up i assume it will put the Heated steering wheel and the heated seat on as well ? if so does it work or do you find it is too hot ? also can you turn of the Seat and Steering wheel so that only the climate is on Auto and if you want the seats / wheel on you have to actually select them ? would be great if you could run through this ? Thanks.

      Thanks for your feedback and hopefully there is no delay on your NX. Which model did you get? 450h+?
      In regards to the Climate settings - that is on my list to do. I'm just everywhere with the topics and definitely will go through the details you outlined.

      You can turn the steering wheel heat and seats off if it gets too hot.

    Does that mean I would potentially plug into the wall charger anytime when I got home…set this timer schedule on the 450h+, let it charge to the desired time frame ( eg off peak hours), not have to worry about overcharging…and when I actually leave house (whenever that will be) , just unplug the cord?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on how you setup the timer. If you set it to start charging at a particular time then it will start charging at that time for 12 hours (using 120v outlet). When charging is complete it will stop charging and you can unplug the cord when you leave the house. The preference is the other way around where you say you will leave the house at let's say 7am and you plugged it in at 5pm the night before. The car will start charging about 7pm and the car will be ready around 7am when you leave the house.
      It will auto stop charging and will not charge again until the AC charging cable is disconnected and reconnected.

    Hi, does it mean if I set departure time at , say 8am, if I don’t press the button “start charging when plugged in “ when I leave the car, it will automatically charge at night? I just got the same nx450 h+ luxury 2 weeks ago, your videos are so helpful? Ps I only have at home 110V charger now.

    • @lsft
      @lsft  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no need to press anything once you have setup the schedule to depart at 8am. If you want to charge immediately, then you need to say Yes to the prompt so that it will start charging once you plug the charger in. It will typically start charging once the car determines the timing and I have seen that it will finish about 30 mins before the departure time.

    Did you cahrge your NX to 100% everyday?

    • @lsft
      @lsft  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't charge it everyday. Typically charge to 80% if I'm not driving much. I would charge 100% when I know i need a full range.
