Hey LSFT, I am subscribed and enjoy your videos. As a new 2024 NX450h+ owner, I’m still trying to figure out how to use the paddle shifters. Have you done a video on how to use the paddle shifters and exactly what they do? Thanks, keep up the great work.
Thanks for enjoying my videos George. I haven't done a video on the paddle shifters. Let me put that on the list to see if I have enough information or knowledge to explain it. Or I might need to do some research.
Thanks for your videos. I just wonder how to change miles to Km on embedded navigation map. Also do you know how to save “home” and “work” address? Thanks.
You save home and work address on the mobile app - you cannot do it in the car. I have a video on how to change miles to km. th-cam.com/video/4Ug6erDOx3g/w-d-xo.html
LSFT, Thank you for your videos. I own the 450h, and have a question on the drive cluster Guage. When I drive in hybrid mode, I notice the HV distance to empty (DTE) decreases approximately 2 miles for every mile my odometer increases, which makes no sense to me. I'd understand it if DTE dropped approx. 2 km for every mile, but both readouts are stated in miles. Consequently, I'm not sure I can rely on the DTE reading. Have you noticed anything similar in your 450h?
Yes, I have noticed it too. The reason is that we don't drive in HV mode that often and the mpg is very off and when you drive HV mode the mpgs starts to correct itself giving you the more accurate DTE as you drive. The closer to 0 miles/km, the more accurate it gets. You can still trust it, but I'll say don't rely on it and stretch to the next gas station with only a few miles/km left. I've also seen other owners saying there is a lot of reserve left when the gas light turns on.
Hi LSFT, on a different topic, I noticed in this video that you have configured a personalized profile icon. In my European version, I have not found where/how to change the default symbol. How did you do that?
I have an NX450h+. Where can I see a current MPG reading? Most of my prior cars showed instantaneous MPG and for some reason I can't seem to find a similar display on the NX.
When you drive in HV mode there is a display in the mid that shows average consumption and current in a bar. If you are in EV mode it shows the energy average.
That is normal. It means you are driving in the most economical fashion. If you floor it, the ECO light will turn off. That indicator is not related to the driving modes.
@@mcrider8692 that's what the warning light is for. There is a warning light on the dash to tell you there is low pressure. It doesn't show up when it's 0.
I have a 2022 NX. Whenever I drive in particular areas, the display screen pops up with a message asking me to input or change my PIN. This appears to happen where the cell phone service is weak. This is very annoying and I can't find a way to avoid this PIN requests. If I just cancel the request, I am able to return to my Carplay display. There must be a way to avoid these PIN requests. Thanks.
I've never seen this problem before. Are you using the digital key or the key fob? If you are using the key fob, have you connected your profile with the key fob?
@@lsft I use the key fob and my profile is connected to it. I am using my Iphone to connect to Carplay. Whenever I drive over specific locations I get the PIN request message.
@@kenschechter3544 you should provide feedback using the app. In the app go to the account section and go to the help and feedback. Hopefully Toyota connected services will be able to help you. It's possible that you are losing connection to both your phone and the servers. Not sure why it will need you to reconnect.

Maybe an engineer will see that drivers want a TPMS display on their car and provide one by a update. Thanks for the videos.
Why would you want to continuously see the TPMS while driving? You can see it on the infotainment screen.

I think this video is what you will need to set it up.

I just leave on Eco and drive.Afraid I'm too old to take all this in.
Maybe they could have done away with a-lot of this and reduced the cost.
A lot of that is software related. I do feel the engine in Eco mode sounds not as good. In normal mode it's ok and sounds better.
Im afraid the engine sound is the least of my problems.Just enjoy driving this 🚙.
