your dad is almost there to his relaxin chair in frontroom, looking out the window to a driveway without the van.😂😂😂. hats off to u both, u are nailing the build ❤
When you use a jig saw or any tool which puts pressure or vibration on a suurface that you will see, always cover it in masking tape for the tool to run over. Then after, remove the masking tape, no marks.
Hi your van is looking amazing I'm getting excited as much as you can't wait to see the end products but don't want the videos to end once it's done take us all on your journey can't wait to see you on the next one xx
Vans looking cracking!! I've installed the cabinets and kitchen units this last week and I've a swivel seat in the mail... time to get out for some astrophotography camping!! ❤
Nearly there now Bex 🙂 Heating, water, electric 🙂 Soon be out in the big wild world having new adventures 🙂 Great job and as always, looking awesome x x
Inspirational stuff! 🙂 I don't know if you've addressed these yet - or if the gas engineer will raise them - but it looks to me as though you'll need gas drop-out vents in the floor underneath all your gas pipe joins (Sorry, I haven't looked through your other videos yet - only just found your channel - loving the look of that shower!), and possibly a switch to ensure that you cannot run the Truma when the window is open ( I couldn't quite tell but it looks as though the exhaust vent is directly below the opening window higher up...?). Keep up the good work you two! 🙂
Good decision to go with domestic shower fittings instead of specialist van ones, you've probably saved yourself a fortune. Still loving the sparkly blue shower cubicle.
Small observation - don’t shoot me!! The cold n hot shower ‘taps’ are opposite way round to the feed pipes on the rear!! Was that deliberate or has it now been sorted??
Would the outside vent of been better on the other side of the van as it will get very hot when the boiler is working and with only a 20mm gap between it and the inside door covering could be a fire risk when the door is open.
My truma used to switch itself off if the side door was open, was a prebuilt van and also had the door opening over the vent. So sure there could be a safety switch added to prevent that risk. I found it was very rare I had it on at same time door was open generally.
Van is coming up lovely can I ask can you please advise me what the water pipes you used in your van like what all the system is called and where to buy please for when start our van
When you've moved in I'm sure you'll work out the best way to reduce the amount of rain and mud you bring in. Maybe you could leave your shoes in.the step of the side load door?
A £10 mat from Aldi or Lidl does the job. It will also help with cat paw marks and as it is loose fitting it's easy enough to take outside to shake clean. Mine also covers the bit of floor where I sit, it's amazing how much warmer it makes my feet feel in winter.
A couple of minor points which you might have already dealt with. Have you installed or will be installing a carbon monoxide detector and secondly, something I would do, placing a sticker where you switch on the Truma to remind you to make sure there is water inside it before you switch on the hot water
It’s incredible. I’m sitting in a toasty 24° van right now. Not had any problems with it. Heats up the van quickly & hot water available without turning it on when heatings on :) can recommend.

This hurt to watch.
Get yourself a diesel night heater it’s worth the money and will keep you toasty and warm in the winter months xx

check out gilders paste ... it will reduce the brush strokes of the gold paint
Thanks for the tip, but I like the brush strokes, makes it look like wood 🥰
Got to say your van is looking very fancy now with all that high tech in the back 😊😊 you can't be fair off from finishing it?
What a super dad without his skills it would have cost a small fortune to get this far .
❤

Thank you. The pipes are all John Guest. I got everything you see from eBay. If you search for John guest water pipes you should find them easily 👍🏽

I have the same combi but installed an auto frost dump valve which can be manually operated too for drainage winterising. Are you fitting one ?
Yes we already have, you’ll see it in the next video.

Im thinking of using a similar heating solution, how do yiu find it after a year?

Very unreliable unit with a host of design faults ! Look how many faulty ones are on ebay alone.
