  • What's the difference between a diesel and gas heating system in a leisure vehicle?
To explore this question, we visited Truma HQ in Putzbrunn, Germany to take a look at the Truma Combi Diesel heater system (Diesel) and how it compares to the Truma Combi 4 heating system (Gas).
    💡 Did you know? 💡
⚡ The Truma Combi Diesel offers flexibility wherever you go, operating on electricity and the same diesel tank as your motorhome or campervan.
🇪🇺 In Europe, 20% of motorhomes are equipped with this efficient system, and its popularity is on the rise due to its convenience and ease of use.
⏳ The Truma Combi Diesel system uses only a limited amount of diesel from your tank, ensuring you never run out while keeping you warm.

Assuming this is for campervan / motorhome heating only. Pity there isn’t a separate fuel tank to allow for the use of this system in caravans. The tank could go where one of the gas bottles normally do - probably the least accessible leaving space for one bottle more easily accessible for the fridge / stove.

Just because Bailey didn't use diesel heaters, doesn't mean its rare in the UK.
Its actually very common! Many people use Autoterm, Webasco or a chinese copy in their self builds.

Will this become an option for all new builds maybe along with being able to have lithium batteries from new too
