Todays video is Jam Packed with motivation & most importantly determination! Its been almost a year since I last did a big, big clothes declutter and it was definitely time, I am about to do a HUGE spring cleaning series and I want to get the house ready for that, plus lots more home makeovers and Im changing my entire wardrobe, so todays video is primarily focusing on clothes declutter! But I also add in some cleaning motivation as well as restocking areas of my house. Lots of in-depth conversations as well, so its very long and very chatty! Hope you enjoy! xoxox

Hello everyone & welcome to todays video! Personally, your house doesn’t look bare to me. It looks minimal but cozy. Live with it for awhile, get used to the space breathing then revisit adding more. You may be surprised at how little you want to add.

Let the dress and dance outfits go Danni. Particularly if you have photos. You will be ok. Plus you will feel so good after.
Hi Danni! you can use white vinegar (any type or brand) instead of fabric softener. you only have to add 1 cup of vinegar for each load of clothes in your washing machine. Don't worry about the smell, it disappears once your clothes dry completely and I assure you that the soft result will surprise you. You can also use it on your bath towels and they will still be absorbent and super soft. 🤗
I use even less, around 1/4 cup per load to save on the vinegar lol. It fills up the little middle container for my softener about half way in my top load washer.
I do this too, and vinegar helps kill germs!

I haven’t wore pants in days. I finally got dressed yesterday. It felt nice. Today I even threw make up on. I can’t wait until spring for some motivation. Enjoy the day.
Rae, I totally get it! There are days, there are times, when I dont get dressed up, im in my pjs for days, I gotta admit I sure do love my pjs LOL but yes, every time I get dressed up esp. when I get a tad bit fancier (jeans are fancy for me LOL) I always feel better and even motivated. Im excited for Spring also, I feel like I want to live in my Pjs more around this time of year because Im so sick of winter lol. Hope you have a great week ahead dear! Hugs xo
Also just heard on Amy darleys channel that she's been using white distilled vinegar in place of fabric softener. It softens the clothes and everything and disinfects and doesn't make them smell like vinegar at all 😊

I use vinegar only for fabric softener. Takes orders out of clothing and keeps your towels and clothes soft. Saves you money also. Been doing it for years.

A great idea for sentimental clothing/cloth items is to make or have sumbody make a "Sentimental Teddy Bear" out of the item.. or if ur into sewing, u can order/buy the patterns and make them urself.. 💕

You made a lot of progress! It looks great and I agree that less is calming. It then gives me a chance to look at everything and decide if I want to add anything to my decor. Usually it's much less than what I thought was necessary.

Vinegar baby! Vinegar is the BEST fabric softener and helps everything smell better and feel softer and it’s so cheap and much more environmentally friendly!!!! You’ll love it! ❤
Is there a community theater in your area? They might be able to use your dance recital costumes in their productions. Last year, my sister contacted our local community theater and asked them if they could use an old-timey child's square-dancing costume that my mother had made for a Halloween costume in the 1960s. They were thrilled to have it, since it was so well made. And we were pleased to see that a little girl wore the costume in their annual production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" this year. My mom would have been very happy!

I love the chat.... better than music! Try those wool balls made for your dryer, I use those for my microfiber towels and clothes.
I recently switched my entire wardrobe just need jeans. Ok bought two of every item I own in my mind that settled it for me. This way I can declutter properly and look at my wardrobe streamlined. All goes with one another too.

I think investing in a closet organizing system would b totally worth it as it would eliminate the need for a dresser & could make ur modest bedroom feel roomier!

Hey Danni, So glad your root canal went OK and that you are pain free now. Your house looks really great and it it so nice you were able to get caught-up on all your laundry. I enjoyed listening to your chat this week as you were so bright and cheery. Anyway, I think using the ruffle skirt from the dress to make a cushion cover is a great idea and I am sure your daughter will love it. Also, just a suggestion, but I think you should use the same paint you used on your son’s bookcase to repaint yours and Ian’s closet dresser (but don’t distress it this time) as that paint looks so fresh and it is such a great colour for furniture. I'm prepping to move in literally 3 days and we have basically nothing packed yet (although, to be fair, we don't have very much stuff). Watching your videos always helps me get motivated to clean, organize, declutter, etc and it's helping me motivate myself to pack as well.

Instead of fabric softener. Just get those dryer balls and put some essential oils on it and throw into dryer . That will make them soft and smell good 😊

I definitely wear my hubbies clothes for comfort when he's not around. It also took me a bit to let go of costumes from dancing and formals, however for all the stress I felt letting them go, I haven't even thought of them until just now watching this. Sometimes letting go feels so hard, but then it's just not there to look at you as a silent to do item and that feels great. You're mouth seems so much better so good on you girl for braving the dentist. 🏆 lots of love ❤️
When you mentioned wearing your husband's shirt for comfort - I was literally wearing my husbands shirt/jacket. He is working out of town right now, also. It does feel comforting! White vinegar softens and deodorizes clothes. A few drops of essential oil in a cloth in your dryer makes clothes smell great

I have decluttered a lot of my clothes and wear the same things over and over I call it my uniform black leggings and tunic tops, I have a casual life style and it works for me.
I want to lose weight too. I call it decluttering fat. 😂💖

Lovely as always. You are an inspiraition. I also went with a minimal only options wardrobe. I love it! I was literally able to let my 3 year old pick my clothes one day and knew it'd come out just fine. I went for an upgraded comfy look all wash and wear as I have young kids but just that edge over pj vibes that means I can go out everywhere. Keep up the fine work. Id love to see the cabin declutter if it wouldnt take away from your family time. Cant wait for the next video with your mom! 🥰

This is the other Robyn in your world. P.S, I am the poster child for dental work-fillings, root canals, 4 implants, crowns, a bridge, braces for four years (got them off at age 62), stem cell injections into my gums, bilateral jaw surgery to add an inch onto both sides of upper jaw. Whew!
Hi Danni! I love the outfit you were wearing at the beginning of the video. I used to wear dress clothes when I was working. I worked in an office and I was the first person you see when you came into the building. So I had lots of clothes then. I have purged most of my clothes and shoes now. I live in my sweats at home during the winter. I have 2 pairs of jeans and love my leggings. I live in those in the summer. Not much for shorts so I wear capris or Bermuda shorts. I got rid of my bathing suit that I kept for years and I don’t go swimming anymore. I hope your mouth is better. I have had extensive dental work for years and I had two root canals done. I had a bad infection in a tooth they repaired and I couldn’t see a dentist until after Christmas one year. It was sore and gross and I managed to clear the infection out myself and the pain went away. Boy, that was bad! I did see Shannon’s post she did of you. I was so excited! Well, hope you stay well. Distilled white vinegar, works well for fabric softener and it doesn't make clothes smell like vinegar promise and it's cheaper then fabric softener just give it a try.. always chat love your voice..God bless

hi , here in the UK we use fabric softener on everything only exceptions are anything which has elastic fabrics stretch jeans or any stretch fabrics , , otherwise everything else especially towels and bedding . bye for now love liz xxx

I use white vinegar and a cap full of zoflora for scent (any disinfectant would work, like fabulosa) xx
I don't use fabric softener as I try to avoid chemicals where I can. I use vinegar in the wash and tennis balls in the dryer. If you don't want to use tennis balls you can use wool balls.
I only use vinegar as fabric softener.

It's been a challenge for sure. I've worked on her living room and got out some furniture pieces she didn't need. She loves the open space it provides. Working progress!!
My teeth has gotten bad since having my boys. I think I am going to need a root canal soon ...so Thank YOU for saying it went fine and u didn't have to worry as much.
