Love the projects! I have tip for you! Grab some contact paper from the dollar tree tape it to a piece of cardboard so the sticky side is up, then put your popsicle sticks on it to paint or what ever you are trying to paint or you could use press and seal plastic wrap to do the same thing! Love the tip about the making tape on the bowl!
TIP. Modge Podge it just water and glue if you have white glue just add a bit of water to get the consistency. That's all it is. I've never bought it I've always made it this way and it works perfectly.
These all ended up looking awesome. I love the ripe basket with the pages glued inside the basket. I think it looks great. TFS and for the inspiration I got from watching your video.
Love all the projects. The tray with the picture is my favorite. So pretty and a lot cheaper than trying to buy a frame. Thanks for all the great ideas.
I have to admit, they are all very clever and cute. Looks like I need to head out to DT kitchen isles! Thanks my dear. My favorites are the lantern and the last one with the flowers. ❤️💜💚
Is there any reason you didn’t just go ahead and glue all the sticks on the tray THEN paint it after? I feel like it might have taken less steps that way. All of the projects were great, no ill will intended.
Great question! I would worry about paint pooling in the grooves between the sticks. Also, the distressing would be a bit tricky without getting paint on the edges. Perhaps if you did a solid color you could then use spray paint or a pouncer brush lightly loaded with paint.
@@TheCrazyCraftLady thanks, your explanation makes perfect sense. You do this stuff far more frequently than I do so I knew you would have a logical reason! 💕
I’m going to say, if you made a mistake, did you learn from it? I bet you did because you are teaching us about your mistake. Mistakes are ok to make because you are learning and in addition, you are teaching. Thank you for all of the projects! I love the first one with the sticks and tray. It looks beautiful! Just saw the frame you made! That is also a number one favorite! They are all very nice actually. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
That oval serving tray picture frame would be super cool if you go all out and add castings from your silicone molds all the way around like verdigris from IOD which is a vine/leaf type casting or baroque type filligree ❤
you can sharpen those by getting some of the really thick aluminum foil and cutting over and over and over or you can take some steel wool and cutting that over and over and over and one of those should really help !
Tite Bond thick and quick would work SO MUCH better for that first tray for those of you that want it to last forever and ever... I know TH-camrs use hot glue for video purposes, but the Tite Bond Is thick and quick just like it states plus it's super archival/strong. With that said, you have wonderful ideas and beautiful works of art! Thank you for the clever ideas ❤❤❤
Also, you can water down your mod podge if you're running low or water down something like tacky glue, wood glue, etc and get the same results as the mod podge 😊
Just happened upon your channel and really enjoyed it. You have some really great ideas. Where did you get the fine point glue gun? Thank you for sharing 💜
What was the purpose of the Mod Podge, on the Saran Wrap, when you were making the bowl? You used hot glue to put the rope together, so I was confused why you’d need the Mod Podge. It turned out beautiful, though.
Thanks for speeding the video up. More speed would've been nice. Not trying to be critical, but when the video makes me watch every step I get bored & x out.
Really? Are those your scissors?!! Why don't you buy a wire cutter and offer to send it to her!?? 🤬I am so sick of rude ppl! Save your misery for YOUR channel or stop watching! I'm sure she won't miss you!

Your little lantern would be the cutest & perfect for a little Christmas tree too!!! 😍 Sooo cute!!
Thank you! I've been mulling over some Christmas lantern ideas using those cutting mats. We'll see if I can pull it off!
TIP. Modge Podge it just water and glue if you have white glue just add a bit of water to get the consistency. That's all it is. I've never bought it I've always made it this way and it works perfectly.
Love the way they all turned out!!!!!! I think my favorite is the tray!!!!!!

I love everything but the deli basket is my favorite ❤
Love all the projects. The tray with the picture is my favorite. So pretty and a lot cheaper than trying to buy a frame. Thanks for all the great ideas.
The bowl was my favorite. I am going to make one with the white rope.
I think you can sharpen any scissors using a homemade ball using aluminum foil, I haven't tried yet but sound like it would work 😊
I have to admit, they are all very clever and cute. Looks like I need to head out to DT kitchen isles! Thanks my dear. My favorites are the lantern and the last one with the flowers.
❤️💜💚
Thanks so much! 😊 Happy making!
Love all of your ideas! The lantern is my favorite, I can’t wait to recreate it! TFS! Blessings!🦋
I like the Lantern great idea
These all turned out lovely ! Thanks for sharing 😊

I think if you tried to paint it while it was on the tree could get messy
Great question! I would worry about paint pooling in the grooves between the sticks. Also, the distressing would be a bit tricky without getting paint on the edges. Perhaps if you did a solid color you could then use spray paint or a pouncer brush lightly loaded with paint.
I guess it would be your choice, I can see why she did it less messy.😊
I want to know where you got your glue gun can you please send me a link or where I can find it thank you, ReBecca

Love all of them
Great! Next time, place parchment paper on the cookie sheet first then the craft stick pieces. You can then lift them in place and spray paint them.
This is my first time watching you. I really enjoyed all your crafts.
Love the ideas. ❤️
Thank you! 😊
I liked the basket with the torn book pages
love it. Im going to try the bowl and the tray!
Love everything you made. Great ideas!

Great craft ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Liked all your DIYs. Really creative with every day items. Thank you for sharing.
Love them all! Adorable!!!! Love and Prayers,
Very pretty stone tray
Great job love all the crafts!
on the plastic oval craft, you might 1. wash it down with alcohol and then 2. take sandpaper and rough it up all over, then try spray painting it
That oval serving tray picture frame would be super cool if you go all out and add castings from your silicone molds all the way around like verdigris from IOD which is a vine/leaf type casting or baroque type filligree ❤
That is a great idea! 💡 I’m just not super experienced with using molds. Some day, though!!
Thanks for ALL the inspiration ❤
These are pretty cool.
Great ideas--thank you for sharing!

My favorite idea was the lantern using the plastic cutting board ❤ Fantastic idea . My mind went to a Halloween lantern 🎃
I love the bowl.
Love these ideas ❤
You can sharpen them by folding aluminum foil 3 or 4 times then cutting through it 9 or 10 times.

First time watching your DIY and am in love with your glue gun! Where did you find it? Thank you!

Nice tray but I would have left the torn pages off mine❤
Use less land fill, go to thrift shops and reuse, recycle, repurpose!
Wow! That’s a great idea.
👍♥️
Do you have to add wax on top of chalk paint?
It might have been easier to paint the sticks before you cut them 😊 maybe
Please share the link for your got glue "gun" / Pen
Total cost of tray?
Thanks for speeding the video up. More speed would've been nice. Not trying to be critical, but when the video makes me watch every step I get bored & x out.
The mider sheers dont do well on stuff like the popsicle sticks or flat stuff like that or at least mine dont
Very😂😂😊
Please invest in a wire cutter and stop using a scissors
Really? Are those your scissors?!! Why don't you buy a wire cutter and offer to send it to her!??
